@@jonathanbouic5947 surfing publication in general is trash these days. Even the WSL only gets 20k viewers on contests. That’s about average for a good video game streamer. But keep in mind that there’s dozens of streamers that get that viewership daily, and WSL contests only happen a few days of the year.
would love to "join the party" guys, but i cant even afford a maccas coffee. thought surfing culture was meant to share the stoke!

Love stab in the dark and I'm sure a lot of hard work goes into making it. But I just can't pay to watch something that is basically a big advertisement. Especially a monthly subscription, yikes. Enjoyed the sample anyways, Taj is the man ☺️

That turn on the CI sure looked good, but it looks like the board holds too much rail. May not look so good if you don't find a clean section on the wave.

Based on the surfing, and the amount of waves/sessions he surfs on the boards, the T. Paterson, Sharp Eye and C.I boards look like they're the top 3.

Not all is Rabbits, but many of the Barrels could have been at Rabbits. Yallingup or Yalls as we call it has sick waves north and south. I was truly lucky to grow up there. D Hemsley

Heydenshapes and Sharpeye looked pretty nice to me. Haydenshapes sat way up in the water but looked really fun to ride. Project Black looked boggy and bad.
Which board was the winner in 2020? Can only find up to 2019 and now in 2021.
he looked good on all of these mostly, though some stab in the dark, you can really tell which board isnt going well for the surfer. he rips them all...

I love this series, but wouldn’t it make the most sense to have your stab in the dark run in Slater’s pool? I know wind conditions change, but it would certainly make conditions a far more consistent variable 🤷♂️ Could even make it a rule for the shapers, that the board has to be an all-around, capable of ripping on several different style waves that the pool is capable of running. I’m sure I’m not the first person who’s thought this though, so maybe it’s already been discussed

That's really how the pool is the best asset for the board industry. Same surfer, same wave. And for progressing the future of equipment do a control test with the same shape but different foam, different resin, different glass. The same for finding the best fin sets. The stab comp is cool as well, but doesn't allow for control testing as in research and development

To all the penny-pinchers, STAB premium is about as much as a 12-pack of beer a month; consider it your treat to the boys for working so hard to produce content like this.
I can't afford a 12 pack a month to watch surfing which I can watch for free.
