@@PIXELEDITS478 Hello. Can you give me more info about what your wanting to use my animation for? If you follow my tutorial and create your own animation by following the tutorial, then you can use it for whatever you want, because you created it. But If your wanting to use my exact animation that I created, instead of making your own, then it will depend. I may not want you to use my animation, depending on what your using it for.
@@RyanKingArt I don't need it anymore I found another one that is better
@@RyanKingArt and it was for a short film about mothers love it will we for kid
@@RyanKingArt also thx
@@PIXELEDITS478 You're welcome. : )
ive seen your other enviorment model tutorial and i am fond of enviorments myself so i hope you do more of these tutorial i am really looking to learn how to make a foggy dark forest so i maybe could do that by learning from here
thanks
I had small problem with compositing - the sun beams node added some alpha to the picture. So I've added Alpha over node with black color to correct it before mixing with final picture.
Ahh yes. Sorry, I should have done that in the tutorial. Thanks 👍
Great tutorial. You're always so patient and good at explaining things without causing an info overload. Learned a bunch of little things in here to help out with my own idea's. Thank you! 😊
Glad the video was helpful! : )
Ha ha . can you imagine someone making a tutorial and you thought he sounded impatient. 😂🤣
I used like 5 or 6 different Blender tutorials last night for what I was working on, & 3 of them were from you. All of them were easy to follow (even the long, complex procedural sand tutorial)! Thank you so much~
thanks for watching!
NOTE: Change your Render Engine to CYCLES before dive into the tutorial!
Took me a day to figure out why the Sky Texture in not working.. I was in Eevee!
Yeah, sorry I forgot to mention that. I use Cycles most of the time, so I have cycles set on default.
@@RyanKingArt Yeah, it's okay :)
I was wondering why mine didn't look the same as the video, thanks for mentioning that.
@@christian751 welcome mate!
I've discovered your channel just earlier today and I must say I'm impressed ! Your videos are easy to follow, very educative and inspiring. Besides you look calm and smile a lot which somehow relaxes me :)
So I thank you a lot for your videos, hope you'll keep making them for a long time !
Thank you! I'm trying to make this something that I can do for a living, and if I'm able to do that, then I will be making much more content for a long time. : ) Thanks!

You are my new RUclips hero! XD
😂 Thanks
In oven sunsets suns look pretty big is is the most beautiful sunset ever thank for I appreciate that in only blender and all procigiral materiel and not

Thank you for watching!!
Wow
I made your tutorial in Blender and have a nice final result! Thanks
I learned to use the COMPOSITING tab better
Glad it helped! Thanks for watching.

Hello my favorite RUclips artist Ryan, I won't be able to do everything so soon, ha ha! But when I'm done with the other tutorials, I'll do it too! Wonderful as always your tutorials.Hug.
Thanks Katlin!
Five tutorials in one week ! Damn
Haha, Thanks.
Your tutorials are really amazing and easy to follow, keep posting awesome content like these , Love from India

Amazingly looking
Thanks!
Beautiful scene my friend, great tutorial!👍
Thanks so much!
thanks @ryan for this tutorial, its pretty easy to follow along and find out new trick with node procedural things, thanks alot mate.
Glad it was helpful!
Instead of changing the Altitude and rotating the Sky Texture in the Shader Editor, you could have changed Sun Elevation and Sun Rotation in the Sky Texture settings to create an evening scene with the sun in the direction you want. Much easier and that's what the settings are for. 😉
thanks for the info
Exactly what I needed to know. You are a genius.
Thank you so much!
Glad it helped!
You deserve a Like and a comment just for explaining everything so well! Thank you!

noooo not the poor cube :D LOL awesome tutorial BTW.
Lol. Thank you!

Glad it helped : )
Why is this don't have a lot of views? It is beginner friendly (not zero experience friendly though)
thanks 🙂
Hi Ryan,
thank you very much for this very nice tutorial.
I have once again learned a lot of new things from you.
At the beginning I did everything exactly as you showed it. But then when rendering the Ocean would always be transparent. I have done this certainly 3 times. Then I have of necessity something with the MixRGB swapped, and then it worked strangely enough. After that, I edited the image a bit with Photoshop.
You can see it then at my Art Station.
Thanks again
Translated with DeepL
Thanks for following the tutorial! I will check it out on your Art Station.
Literally one of my fav blender channels rn...could you do more sci fi/hard surface scenes? Or maybe a post apocalyptic scene?
Thanks for the tutorial Ideas. I will consider them!
THANK YOU
thanks for watching!
1) Don't advice on "detail 16", advice on "detail to what is needed". In real scenes these can really add up to matter quite a bit.
2) If not using ocean modifier or microdisplacement, complement the bump effect with anisotropic shading using geometry/incoming as the tangent. Might have to use rotation 0.25. Check out real sunset images. For any slight disturbances in the water it will make the reflection rougher but also stretch in the direction of viewing (as you will look perpendicular to these disturbances and see more and more of the tops only).
3) Preview the bump amount using real microdisplacement, and use it's height for the bump distance and leave the effect at 1. Going for realism, basic normal changes isn't going to cut it.
4) Noise might work in a hurry, but I would render out several ocean modifiers, mix them together in Krita to form a seamless 8k map, then a seamless blend to eliminate texture repetition. Rendering out a looping wave sequence is also possible, but takes a lot more effort to setup, and due to 8k maps takes quite a bit of disk space.
Such a cool Tutorial, thanks. I think the sun color could be a little more red for me
Ok cool! Thanks for watching! 👍
thank you very much for this very nice tutorial🥰
You’re welcome!
Thanks a ton!
You're welcome!
great tutorial bro
Thanks for watching
I am following what you are doing but my sun looks oval and not circular
Looks epic :D
Thanks!!
amazing!
Thanks! : )
you are welcome mate!
amazing
Thanks!
if the air, dust and ozone settings from the video dont look the same on your render, try:
air - 2.0
dust - 0.6
ozone - 7.9
these give a similar look but not 100% accurate
thanks for the info 👍
Using Ubuntu? Respect!
Actually I use Linux Mint. But yes, Linux! Thanks : )
thank you so much for teach for me
You are welcome!
Muchas gracias

Amazing...

ctrl+B not working for me in camera view
anyway thanks for the tutorial. awesome!
Hmm, sorry I don't know why that would not work. Did you change the shortcut?
@@RyanKingArt actually I’ve figured it out
Accidentally changed my render eevee to cycles

really great tutorial ... thanks alot but somehow my background is only black when its rendered... what did i do wrong??
❤love you sir very nice
thank you!
what version of blender is this? I cant see the settings at 6:05 with the ozone/everything under the surface tab on the right
Nice one👍
Thank you
Amazing
Thanks!
On my renderer, the sky texture looks very yellowish and not anywhere near as orange. I tried some other settings but can't figure anything out. Any help would be appreciated!
how you made the sea and the sky blended in the horizon point
You can adjust the camera height. Also you can move the ocean up and down.
U can also do same in evee if ur pc cannot handel just turn on bloom idk mine worked 🙂
I couldnt connect the node wrangler to sky texture
Why is the bump texture on the ocean not like yours mine is something else
my landscapes arent black like urs they go white and then dont reflect into the water?
helpful!
Glad it was helpful!
Great Tutorial, Bro!
But..
One Problem...
The image is transparent.. why?
I love how mine looks nothing like his
My viewer node isnt working when doing ctrl+shift and i click the node. It shows the needed preview but it doesnt add the seperate viewer node connected to material output. So when i do it for another node it just removes the previos one..im using version 4.0.2
yeah in the new blender update they removed the view node, but the node wrangler still works the same. so just use it like that
Since I don't have any money I can't join ur epik channel and patreon once I can get it I will join it 😉😉
Ok, no problem. If your able to help sometime, I'd really appreciate it! 😀
Thank you so much for this video, was really helpful specially the part of the light sun. How do you learned the use for each node?
Well, I've been using Blender for over 5 years, so when you use Blender for that long, you kinda get to know a lot of the nodes. : ) Thanks for watching!
Hi can you make a tutorial about sun glares ?
I will consider it. Thanks!
hey ive copied everything and im at 7:03, my sky is only facing upwards and not reflecting down as well, is there a fix for that?
Yes, just use the mapping node to rotate the sky texture back to a good position.
@@RyanKingArt thank you!
My sky texture doesn't have mapping input so i cant do the ctrl+t action?
Edit: Got it i need to uncheck the sun disk :D
Ahh ok. Glad you fixed the problem. Thanks for watching!
Thanks for the great tutorial is there a wway to animete the sun and have all of the post efects in animation the rays etc
What about something like a sunset timelapse?
I have a different tutorial on how to do that: ruclips.net/video/s90lankhBHc/видео.html
Oh, my boy! That's exactly what I was searching for. Thank you really lot. Appreciate the efforts. You're fantastic, and your tutorials are quite simple to follow. 🥺❤️
The sky texture isn't working for me.. i'm in cycles, and I'm pretty sure I have everything the same as in the video. everything is white until high altitudes and is just turns flat blue and then black at the max. But it looks nothing like the video
Hmm, sorry I don't know why its not working the same. Did you make sure to set the settings on the sky texture the same as I did?
@@RyanKingArt yeah I did, but I think it was just a bug, or I accidentally moved a setting or something because I restarted blender on a new project and it worked
Hi Ryan, I can see the sky in the material preview mode but In the Render-Preview (and of cours in the Render) there is no sky visible.
you might be in Eevee in render settings instead of cycles
It annoys me so much trying this on a macbook pro i dont have a mouse nor numpad so its really hard to follow
you could buy a regular keyboard and mouse, and plug them up to your laptop by USB.
No matter what I do I can't get my sky to look like his with the half blue and half orange, I even have the exact same settings as the video
Are you using Blender Eevee? This sky texture doesn't seem to work well in Eevee. I'm using Cycles in this tutorial.
This was great, thanks for this. Btw, what distribution and DE do you use?
Thanks! I don't understand what you mean by that. Distribution and DE? Do you mean what operating system do I use on my computer?
@@RyanKingArt Oh sorry I was a bit presumptious there, yeah that's what I meant haha. It looked like you were using some kind of Linux OS and I was curious as to what you use.
Distrubutions are just flavours of Linux, things like Ubuntu or Linux Mint. And a DE is a desktop environment, most well known ones are probably; GNOME, KDE and XFCE.
Maybe I'm completely wrong here, apologies if so, after all it's not important, just curious really :)
@@residentevilfan543 Ooh Ok. I just didn't know what DE was. Yes, I am using Linux Mint Cinnamon. : ) And I believe I'm using Gnome... I think. which ever one Linux Mint comes with on default. Linux is awesome! 👍
@@RyanKingArt Oh nice, Linux Mint is lovely, thanks for letting me know. It's really inspiring to see someone using Linux for art and making amazing tutorials on top of that. Thank you for all you do :)
Thanks for watching my videos!
really great tutorial bro!! btw please help me!! Ctrl+Shift for viewer node is not working in my laptop even i enabled node wrangler!! please help me bro!! :'( what should i do for this?? please
Hmm, try clicking with the other mouse button. Also, Are you on a Mac computer?
Hi! Great tutorial. Can I use this render to add to my portfolio?
Yes, you can totally use your tutorial result in your portfolio if you'd like to.
Hey bro, can you share me the project. I need it for my computer graphics lab. It will be great if you can help.
I am using 3.1.2 version it sayt nishita is not availabl in evee , so how can I handle this ?
Yeah that type of sky texture just doesn't work in eevee. So maybe use cycles.
@@RyanKingArt okay thank you Ryan
Great video, but do you know how to fix the render shading to not be white and the settings (like for an example dust, ozone, altitude, etc) not working?
Change the Altitude, and that should make it more orange colored.
@@RyanKingArt It didn't do anything, the entire scene is fully white, the parts are white, and the background is white, I put the render settings the same as you did, and the sun is at a light level of 2, are there any other ways to fix this problem?
@@matglk2084 Hmm.... so when you render it everything is white? Maybe the brightness of the world is too high.
@@RyanKingArt That setting does lower the brightness, but none of the other settings work, when I did this tutorial the first time it worked, although, I was using nodes to make a gradient background, I'm pretty confused on how to fix this problem, I'm using blender 2.92.0 and using EVEE's rendering engine.
@@matglk2084 Hmm, I don't know. Maybe open a new blender file and append in the objects, and see if that fixes it with a new Blender file. Also, its possible that Eevee doesn't support the sky environment texture.
I don't know if I'm doing something wrong with the sky but I don't get the sun reflection and the altitude setting doesn't change anything, is anyone encountering the same problem?
Edit: o get some relfections but when I turn the roughness to 0 in the water material it just reflects the sky and not the sun
Hmm, are you using the Eevee Render engine?
@@RyanKingArt nope, I made sure to use cycles and use the exact same options
@@enric2815 Hmm, sorry I don't know why that is happening.
When i change sky texture altitude it doesn't change anything do you know how to fix this?
are you using Blender eevee? Because that feature only works in Cycles.
today you can just use the ocean modifier.
Yeah you could also do that
👍👍👍
Thanks!
💜
I've got black stripe over my sky near the sea. How can I fix it?
Maybe move everything up so you can't see the horizon. Also point the camera up.
I don't know why, but i did the compositor node setup, but then it made my original image partially transparent, the sunbeams show just fine, but my original render goes transparent in darker areas
Yeah, I see what your talking about. To fix this, add an alpha over node at the end of the compositing nodes. Set the top image color to fully black, and then plug the last mix node into the bottom image on the alpha over. This will turn anything that's transparent to black. You can also just save the image as a jpg or png image, and tell Blender not to store the transparency. And it will make it black. Hope this helps!
@@RyanKingArt I did figure it out myself as well, i just inverted which image was plugged into each slot
@@user-dj7wm3hz4d Ok cool. : )
Why is my ocean going up and down instead of left and right?
Hu? What do you mean? You can just rotate your ocean if its sideways.
@@RyanKingArt Sorry I should have been more specific. My noise texture is stretching the same direction as my plane. I want the noise texture to stretch the same way as yours
@@JamDCrazy Ahh ok. To do that, you can Turn up either the X, or Y Scale Values, on the Mapping Node, that is plugged into the noise texture.
My render came out looking nothing like my composite wonder where i went wrong
Hmm, ok. Sorry your having problems.
7:00 The control + T doesn't work for me. Please help 😭
Turn on the Node wrangler addon.
my sun is so small help
it says 'nishita not available in eevee', what do i do?
