I made a Pixar animation with $0 in 60 days - Part 2

- Pixar is the master of animations. I wanted to see what it takes to create such an animation yourself and if you could. After 60 days, here's my answer.

Pls make the dog become a ghost
SUPPORT MY MAN HE DESERVES IT!
Only if you can
At this point just try to get hired by Pixar bro
that was a load of work
This made me sad, I can't make anything this good :( also rip dog.
I think him moving the bone closer to the picture of the dog and adding a new photo in its place was a great visual storytelling bc it shows how he’s moving on and how it no longer takes up as much space in him life but it’s still there
exactly. with no words, good stuff
i also think it was meant as a reminder that it's okay to hold on to old memories but it's also important to continue creating new ones.
Damn! I gonna be honest.
It’s not Pixar quality but hey, this is just one guy, 2 months without using any money at all.
If you keep that in mind, this is absolutely amazing and very good quality.
You made me emotional when Snow was looking at the photo album and when he was looking at the sky.
If you manage to do that, it’s a really good animation.
I could only imagine what you would do when you had 6 months for this project.
Absolutely amazing!
Can't say it's Pixar level, but it's still better than 90% of Pixar's studio rivals. It's insane what one person can do now, at home, with free software and a passion to create. Your storytelling is also extremely on point, which very much IS Pixar level. Curious what will come next as you demonstrably have a great deal of talent and a rapidly growing toolbox of skills.
True
pretty sure that kid who animated that lego scene in spiderverse uses blender too
Pixar's only real rivals these days are Illumination and Sony Pictures Animation. (Illumination owns Dreamworks.) So I wouldn't say it's on the levels of Spider-Verse or Puss in Boots: The Last Wish or the Mario movie. It's still great though.
yes, but it's much simpler than this@@doomus_
its the animation for me, it just needs to be a little more movement and smoothness
The dog died:( You just left her up in that tree?!?!😱 The animation was an emotional rollercoaster that left me tearing up throughout. I wonder if there will be a part 3 I want to watch more of this animation haha. Good Job!
Fr 😂
part 3 with voices. no time limit just make the movie already lol
me too but what he left her on the tree WHY!
ik right he just left here there RIP
TEARING UP! MY GIRLFRIEND CRIED THROUGHOUT THE ENTIRE FILM. SHE SAID "THERE BETTER BE ANOTHER DOG" LOL HAHA
It definitely misses some of the fluency and easing that Pixar uses, but for 60 days and solo it looks amazing!
To be fair he doesn't have the financial support of the Billion dollar Disney Company
@@zcnaipowered7407 he knows, that’s why he said “for 60 days and solo it looks amazing!”
@@zcnaipowered7407 That's the point of the 60 day experiment
@@zcnaipowered7407yes, we know you goof. We can’t criticize, still?
@@gkrees9509 No, cause it doesn't make sense to criticize the work of one person on a $0 dollar budget in comparison to a billion dollar company that has animators to animate and animators hired for animation clean up, previz, rendering, color management etc.
How on earth can one man do this?! That is so cool! When I want to do a project, I play some games a lot more than you XDDD. The story is just like some Disney movie! That is just amazing! Very good job! I am getting motivated doing my own project and not playing games more after your videos, thanks!
Feel free to. You can do it
Saying something looks like a disney movie is no longer a compliment.
@@MAGAMAN But the Disney animation is still good.
@@MAGAMAN it is. when done by yourself ... in 60 days... with free software.
It’s a pretty good student film, definitely a good point to get a job in the industry, but not Pixar level, sorry
I worked at Pixar as an intern in Summer 2019 in the San Francisco Bay Area. It was the most amazing experience I ever had. Beautiful out there. ^___^
congrats! I bet you were great
cool! could you tell me a bit more about it? sounds like a once in a lifetime experience
Though this is very goofy, knowing it was made in 60 DAYS, this is very good. The storyboarding and lighting could've been better, but the animation was pretty damn good for the restriction. Nicely done!
Lmao you did a really good job. I’m glad that you are happy with the result as well, because this takes a lot of work, especially when being done in a little more than 60 days.
I felt so many emotions watching this, truly cinema level stuff right here, and I can only imagine what you could do without a team, with a budget, and with a team. Your going places, there were literal tears falling down my eye by the end of this. Thank you.
Same here
Bro rlly just left her up there 💀
She rlly broke her arm from that fall, instead of climbing down like a normal person.
@meatyfork In real life, sometimes it's not that easy to climb down a tree and accidents can happen unexpectedly, even if you know how to do it.
@@meatyforkclimbing down like a normal person!?😂 are you restarted or artistic!? She had to use the dude to get up in the first place, she didn’t climb it like a normal person to begin with
this comment aint even funny
@@gkrees9509 Valid point honestly.
This is a very cute and touching animation! With that skill, you should be working at Disney.
The storytelling covers up the few missing visual details, you managed to make me tear up twice. In my opinion, you did absolutely fantastic and I would love to see more if it ever gets made.
Some things were still too perfect geometrically but those would be pretty easy to fix. However, what sets Pixar separate from this animation and all the other competitors is the animation quality. The animation in Pixar animations feel really fluent, no matter if the star is a car, toy or a fish.
Very true. Their animation always flow really well. :)
Legitimately had tears coming when it showed the dog in the clouds😂
Excellent job!
For a one person job, this is great. Of course, Pixar has a larger sum of people to animate with. But little flaws are not very apparent! Good job dude!
This is the kind of achievement that made me actually clap my hands irl. This is absolutely incredible, and the pure effort you have put into this has only made me feel even more inspired, as a learning animator. I seriously applaud this entire project, and every piece of your heart and soul that exists in this work. This is honestly amazing.
Pls make part 3 I really want to see more such content. You really made a good Pixar movie. Rip Autumn 😢 . I still wanna see part 3
Animation is it's own way. The more time and efforts you put into, the outcome has to come better and better. Different styles and storytelling ideas can create better version of any existing movie. But here I see an amazing story itself. Tells a lot about relationships and human thinking, behavior. Kudos man! Really appreciate this whole creation and the process.
Not Pixar level, but HOLD MY HOLY BOLOGNA THAT WAS AMAZING!!! Especially considering the fact that Pixar movies take a whole team forever to do a few scenes. + there’s a specialized department for polishing.
I don't know what RUclips rabbit hole I went down to get here, but this is blowing my mind - pure magic.
As someone who doesn't have hardly any art experience (digital or otherwise) I'm just sitting here with my brain on fire on how amazing this is without even having much context or background knowledge at all. Also, the first part about opening up the text document and then playing games for two days straight endeared this project and the artist to me immediately LOL.
I rarely comment on vids, especially when I don't have anything constructive to "add" to the conversation - but, I felt compelled to say a long-winded "WOAH, I don't know how I got here. But this is magical." Also, having lost my furry companion a few months ago, the short made me absolutely sob. Well done
Excellent work, I love the result. It's evident that you've used resources created by other artists, which is understandable, and nonetheless, you've achieved a fantastic job. Acknowledging the contribution of others to your project only further highlights your ability to integrate and breathe life into those pre-existing elements. Bravo
Maybe just me but that bone would have been thrown out right after the dog died. The animation of her climbing the branches was superb! very well done and realistic!
Such an amazing animation, even if it took a year, I'll still be amazed.
The plot is so emotional, you did a great job. Most times, when people do videos like these, the end results are so minor, and lack quality but this is top shelf product.
I'M exited for this part cause its probably gonna include lighting, and I really dislike doing lighting since I can never get it right. It halted my progress so quickly, that I took a break from using blender for a while, but maybe from this video ill learn something new!
Doubtful… I would just watch a lighting video. Once you know the theory it’s pretty simple
yeah I was going to say that!! Lighting is actually my favorite part 😅@@zteir
Yeah Ive watched a few but it always look dull, I think I just gotta keep practicing it without getting discouraged lol @@zteir
Thanks that's actually super helpful @@leucome
@@redwolf6334 yeah probably, but like they are not dull that is just your opinion. I bet if you actually stuck out a 3 point lighting video you would be fine. The theory is way more simple than you would think. Just watch a video and then go do it a few times.
That animation was absolutely beautiful, you did such an amazing job. It actually made me cry, thinking of how much I miss my dog Sparky. But at the same time, it gave me a sort of comfort at the end, saying that everything will be okay. Thank you for this Noggi, you've gained a new subscriber.
So beautiful that there’s just music so the emotions and what happens is up to interpretation✨🎶
HAHA that was pretty tragic. Your lighting defiantly got better as the story went along. Nice work :)
You did a pretty good job keep it up!
Why you gotta kill the dog man
It's a Pixar movie
I know😭😭😭
Thanks for the spoiler
EXACTLY
@@ceciliosoto526did you watch part 1 or did you just came here without watching part 1
Dude for all the time and effort you put into this project, this deserves way more likes. Well done!!
that story was very emotional. I cried at the end. This is one of the best RUclips videos Ive ever watched
In 60 days you made one of the best Story’s ever I can’t Believe this it’s so good the animation the story is perfect thanks I have a better day because of you thank you
So glad I came across your channel. To do what you did in 60 days spending nothing is phenomenal! Very impressive. I felt the emotion in animation and the details you added just adds to the incredible amount of creativity plus skill you displayed. You told a story on top of telling a story of how you created it. Amazing work. And to think this is just one of many projects/videos you created.
Beautiful animation and flawless storytelling. I cried 3 times. The ending had so much heart. Amazing work!!
The movie is short but more impactful that my heart aches. I love it.
This made me cry. Multiple times. It's sad and beautiful. Thank you.
Animation lightning is sooo amazing it feel like pixar short film and story is also awesome very very well done i was waiting for a long time and its worth it. U are inspiration
The final product might not be a masterpiece, but this whole project was definitely impressive to watch. Finishing a movie is never easy, but doing it under a specific deadline, let alone by yourself, is a ruthless task, and what you got there is worthy of praise.
One thing's for sure, it's no Our Drawings.
Interesting, I think a lot of the weakness of this piece is actually on the storyboarding and shot building. Getting a 'pro' storyboarder to pace and time everything better would've gone a long way!
Congratulations on the movie man! Very emotional 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
FINALLY IT'S HERE !!!
Hey, congratulations on your work! I'm looking to get into the 3D animation field, but I'm just starting out and I don't even know how to draw. I'm beginning to study Blender now and I feel very far from achieving results like yours... but your video has motivated me to focus on this, and maybe one day reach that level of animation.
the final animation almost made me cry 🥲
Your storytelling on storytelling is insane!!
My favorite part was when he couldn’t wait 2 seconds to help her down to tree
This animation touched my heart and I almost cried when the dog died. amazing animation
Wait I actually cried, what the-
an animation this long created in only 60 days, wow very beautiful, and your improvement was so visible from the first half to the second one, great job
WE LOVE NOGGI
BRO'S HAD US WAITING
wow this is a solid masterpiece, im really impressed and amazed.. i'm looking forward to learn and also get to this end.. i really felt the emotions and storytelling
I would like to argue against the description... Pixar is falling short of the best animation studio, with other studios such as Sony Animation or Dreamworks have been making wayyyy more touching movies in the past. Would be cool to see you do this again but with an innovative style like Puss In Boots The Last Wish or Spiderman Across the Spiderverse...
You know what, your animation made me tear up so I think you won this challenge, if it is indeed possible to win.
I think the only note I'd include to anyone else attempting this is: theres a reason toy story was about toys besides the story. If you have more limited technology and time, choosing subjects that aren't humans will really help! That being said I think this was excellent, the lighting really brings the models to life. I also think using free assets should be promoted to more artists when learning something like this- if you use an asset someone else made it will help you learn how to make an asset yourself when the time comes.
amazing job for one man , definitely not pixar but temptingly close ❤🔥
That's an awesome animation and impressive work, however I also can't help but looove the transitions in the video itself. The bird flying out of the monitor, movement between stages in a room, the falling in bed and falling on the other side... so cool!
You just need 1 more guy to create Pixar level quality animation
You did it ! Congratulation. The first part was pretty impressive in itself. The second one is simply incredible !
Amazing !!! well you hit the realy nice emotion sweet Spot by me!
I try to learn acual all these things. on a fulltime job with 2 kids it feels it takes for ever ^^. but i will never give up. maybe someday i will be as good as you are 😅
Oh man, you made me cry,
Amazing to be able to create such an animation alone that also evokes people's emotions❤❤❤
I am patient ;D
But knowing life, I'll probably watch it tomorrow, unfortunately :/
Dude… you literally had me tearing up! Certainly not perfect nor Pixar level, but for a 60 day challenge it's pretty damn impressive! Also, your video editing and storytelling in general is pretty pro! Bravo! 👏☺
I am so excited for this! First.
Same
The fact that you stayed till end and delivered it says a lot. U are a warrior, A Samurai
im waiting for this moment for 2 month, i better see the duckin pie fixed lol
Incredible work!!! I love the way you visualised the differents steps with you inside of your room, it's amazing!
petition for Pixar to hire this guy

Enormous amount of work and decent skill. It's amazing that you have such an amazing in Blender.I am looking up to you!

I can only imagine what you could achieve at Pixar, having access to their software, technology and expertise
I don't want to compare this with Pixar but considering the very limited time and $0 this is waaayy beyond Pixar.
The impressive thing is that already this youtube video itself is amazing, and already this takes so much effort and time to make, and this is “just” the video to show the process of the eeeeven more complicated and time consuming animation..wow
Youre really
Determined!
Everything is good But WTF is under the table at 8:53
Damn, even without dialogue, this hit me just like a real Pixar movie would. They need to hire you *now* my guy.
NO WAY I JUST WATCHED PART 1 FOR THE FIRST TIME THEN THE PART 2 JUST CAME OUT 2 MINUTES LATER!?
This is so amazing and I sure felt all the emotions associated with the animation. Great visuals and storytelling
Not just in 60 days, but BY ONE PERSON TOO?? Pixar must hire this guy.
Wow, very impressing. You even created a small, but very good and emotional story. Good luck with future projects!
Crazy effort! Pretty good result. Tho your lighting could step up the whole thing by another 110% its not telling a story its just there. You can play way more with it and add things in post like sun beams, dust in the air and more. Would love to relight a scene for you if you want some inspiration :)
This is really amazing. You are a real story teller. First things first, Congratulations!!! And second, you literally made me cry with the story, thank you because it is beautiful.
Dude the guy is so irresponsible and clumsy, first he threw the bone in the middle of the road. Next he left his girlfriend hanging on a tree
YAYY I'm so excited to see how this turns out!
I went from crying to laughing at how irresponsible and lackomg awareness that guy was leaving her hanging in the tree lol
He prioritized the dog toy over his girl 😭💀
Omg i wasn’t expecting this. I’ve cried so much
WOW! That was fantastic! Great story. No animation distractions. Well done.
Color me impressed. With a few more weeks, I don't think there would be any critique to offer-which is really saying something knowing how it was made.
I loved the imperfections in it, it was imperfectly perfect 😅
really nice idea that could be built up on. keep up the passion and good work ❤
no words needed i,m crying already it was so wholesome and sad
That was stellar! great story, well produced. and awesome animation job. when art moves you , and speaks to you ..then , it is real art. This did just that. Well done .
I really enjoyed your animation and thank you for making the tutorial as well
You have enough here for a solid application for a studio. Sorry to say Pixar and Disney required more experience, but you can definitely get a job in the industry with this.
I’ve been crying for 10 minutes - thanks 😭 amazing result for such a short period of time!
This was amazing man, actually mind - blowing the things you can do also love the message being told
The lady climbing the tree, her movement was realistic, except when she jumped to grab the bone. However, the story was well told. Amazing work ❤
why the heck did this make me cry? You did a great job.
I'm so impressed that you've maid it only by your in range of 2 months! Very good job!
I liked it ! There were times when I was confused about what’s going on but for the most part this was good keep on animating! If that’s what you want to do: D
you just created a master piece with a beautiful message in it! very well done in all of the aspects!
I can’t tell how much I’ve been waiting for this !!! It’s soooo fantastic ! 😍😍😍 totally worth the wait 😍😍😍 I have soooo many questions 🤣
