Thanks for watching!
Matt, you are a class act. That car from out of state. A disabled veteran "Let's just get you pulled out". The reason we love your show. Your humility and nonjudgmental style. We need more Matts in this world.
Quite true i started following matt and watching his work when he was bellow 100k subs now he is at 310k trust me he is consistent with humility and so natural...
Agreed I've always thought this as well. Seems like a great guy
DITTO Dallas Ray's comment.
I have a tow company and I pull a lot of people out of the sand too. Probably not as many as Matt, but still enough and at times it's not easy to charge people, but if you knew what it cost to run a tow company you realize that you have to or else you'd be out of business. Now having said that chances are good I'd have let them slide since I was already out there. Or if they have roadside assistance I'd have had them put in a call to cover expenses without having to go in pockets.
i picked up on that too, awesome
That couple in the car seemed really stressed, I’m sure you helping them was a big relief. Good job Matt
They did seem methed up.
THANK YOU to whoever does the editing for those two seconds of gangsta-Ed at the very end of the video
Ed Pull Out Game is STRONG
I was going to comment the same
Just need the j and thug life shades 😂
Yeah, at least it was short.
@@trellend I'm sorry you don't understand "cool" :)
Matt that simple act of helping out the disabled veteran will bring many a smile to other veterans faces.
Randy: "It's hot out!" hahaha! I guess if you sit in that seat you have to give an Ed-style weather report.
was about to say the same thing! 😂
Shotgun weather report
Lol
@John 17 true that
So true! Doin my part to help entertain folks with my new channel. I take trucks up into the mountains and break em. I just wanna make you all laugh.
Ed is a great guy; doing anything he can to help.
I like your videos, and watch a lot of them. After you pulled out that disabled veteran and his wife you are my hero! Thank you.
SAME HERE FROM ANOTHER DISABLED VET!!!
@@elcompamartinez2647 bless up man
@Thrillhunter You obviously don't listen to the videos.
Love how he stops for a picture. "We love our fans."
Well your fans love your channel even in another hemisphere. 👍👍👍🇦🇺
I've watched a lot of your videos and I wanted to command you on how respectful you are of your customers. Of course they're your customers but it would be pretty easy to be critical on how they got in the situation you have to get them out of but I've never hear you (or your crew) be critical of what they did. That speaks volume for the type of service/company/crew you've put together. We need more people like you in this world. Thanks Matt and your crew!
Well its easy job for him, he comes hooks up pulls them out in couple of minutes like that green van or honda at the end. Even if customers are terrible drivers there paying money for Matt. Why he shouldn’t respect bad drivers if they’re making it easy money for him haha.
Oh, Ed will sometimes verbalize what everyone's thinking! Another reason to have him aboard, speaking the truth!😁
@@roscoejones4515 I loved the one time he said that the guy has rocks in his head plus some sand. Cracked me up.
Bet he doesn't charge all of them. the couple in the Grey Primer car were grateful and appreciative. Bet he runs into some real jerks to.
Honestly, I think I'd be out there saying "Yeah...don't know how you got stuck. Should have been fine. Unlucky I guess." hoping that paying customers would make the same mistake again...
Every business needs an Ed. True ambassadors. Great video
Good on you for helping out the disabled veteran!! Karma owes you one.
Randy: "Hi. It's hot out." - Is that your Ed impression? LOL
After living there for years I can say it’s a normal comment. It usually has a 4 letter word somewhere in front of hot though.
@@BlueDart1971 "real"?
Umm sure:) You choose

I’m super impressed with Matt’s ability to grow a beard, stubble in first rescue, full beard before lunch 😳😂
EVERY time I see a wide shot, that shows the Jeep moving, I think to myself - Randy is in very good shape..
Thank you guys for being real MEN! I'm so proud of you guys!!great grandma Rea
My favorite pastime during chemo... Watch Matt and eat Milk Duds!!! Such a great guy and so nice to everyone.
It’s the little things Ed does they makes him just a saint to have around!
Never seen your videos before. I saw the jeep and said to myself, self, I've seen that XJ here in St George. Then I saw the background and said, that's sand hollow. Didnt even know we had a local guy just making fun videos.
2 things I can count on.
1. A solid weather report.
2. “We’ll get um out”
Thanks!
Matt, I always love your videos from the mild to wild. Keep em coming. I'm 62 and hope to fulfill my bucket list which includes meeting you, Ed, and Casey. Oh, can't forget the FabRats.
Nice job helping out the out of state DAV. God bless you
Its always nice to help a pregnant woman stuck in the sand 👍
Matt you are so awesome for taking care of the disabled veteran! Thank you so much!
Ed is the best; love seeing him out there having a good time with ya.
come for the rescues, stay for Ed. Kind of ol school guy that always trying to anticipate and help.
Yep, Ed is a real classic. Don't make em like that anymore.

I love seeing you and Ed working together. You make him so happy.
Matt, you should get a satellite office at Sand Hollow since you spend so much time there pulling people out of the sand, haha.
They need to set up Winder Towing call boxes. The equivalent of a European police call box.
You mean matt needs to do off road courses
@@JimYeats wow old school .no such thing now.not for years
@@georgeh9967 Lol, for sure. Maybe I've just been watching too much Dr. Who.
@@drugansltd4344 no because then he'd run out of business
I'm with Dallas. I had the wrecker last night and saw this little ol lady trying to get her car out of the soft mud in raymond wash. I just hocked onto to her and pulled her out. NO CHARGE. Boss might not like that but who cars. Love your vids. Even Ed's footage. Keep up the awesome work guys.
Always makes me feel good to help out a vet and I'm sure you felt the same.they are always grateful and respectful god bless are vets
God Bless Ya'll for helping the Handicapped Vet!!!
When I grow up I wanna be just like Ed.
He's my hero!!
I can only imagine how many folks you have just helped out no charge. What a guy. 👍 Gonna send a link and tell my buds they need the big yellow rope. I saw their plate, big props for helping out a Vet.
I DIED laughing at the Ed clip at the end
For a split second... He looked all Godfather, like he could have somebody taken care of. 😄
I pray for that to become a recurring segment
Helping that pregnant lady out of a bad situation. You’ve been a hero to so many of your customers but probably never more so than to her. God bless and keep you Sir.
There's Ed again, never have to ask him for help, he's always there ready to help.
My 86 year old Mom loves your videos. Keep em coming.
Dammit randy, don’t you dare try to take Ed’s place! If Ed doesn’t give the weather report, then I don’t want to hear it!!!
🤣🤣🤣
The look of relief on some of these peoples faces as you pull their rig out is awesome. Nothing worse then being stuck somewhere and no one is around to help. Your like rescue rangers! Kudos to you and the gang.
Hey Matt! "It's easy when you know how" You know but you're such a nice humble guy. Keep up the good work and the vids. And you've got Ed on your shoulder like a badass "Jiminy Cricket" God bless y'all!
16:44 Now that brings back memories "manning the hubs" when I was a kid in the 70's running the back roads of northern Michigan. My uncle always had a K5 Blazer, my cousin and I's job was to jump out and lock the hubs when needed and unlock them when not. Of course we were thrilled to do it. I am in the process of procuring a front axle with hubs for my 04 GC.
Matt is freaking awesome!!!!! Sorry, the whole team is awesome🇺🇸🙏🏻👍
It's great to see an XJ kicking butt. I worked a summer at AMC in '83 and saw it when it was in development and knew it was going to be a game-changer, boy was that an understatement
Matt needs to put up signs in these areas where people keep getting stuck.
"If you drive past this sign, call Matt's Off-road Recovery to get pulled out."
I love Ed. Reminds me of my dad. 81yo and still goes out to the shop with me every day building doors. Can't and won't quit working!
i'd love to see something more about that extra cooling you installed!
He made a video on his build
Sir, you truly are a lifesaver. That Vet looked to be in dire straights. Thank you.
Matt is driving the price up on those jeeps that’s for sure.
Can't wait for the first new Bronco that has to be yankumed!
He sure has. I’ve been looking at XJ’s ever since I started watching his videos.
Part rally car, part transport truck, part tractor.
They are starting to climb up for nice ones. I do own an XJ and I once owned a Toyota FJ40, those used to be cheap not certainly not anymore! I’m starting to see the same pattern with prices on XJ’s as I did before with a FJ40’s .
@@jfranke3 get one, I love mine
No matter how many times I see it the sight of the yellow jeep and springy ropes pulling stuff out of the sand is amazing, along with the great driving skills too. Thanks for the videos.
That second recovery had some pretty good rope control.
I can't believe how calm you are with people trying to drive a car through sand with no idea how to drive. The world needs more people like you and Ed . I love watching your channel. Keep up the good work
Sand Hollow is a gold mine for offroad recovery business.
Matt said in another video, this is only like 2% of his towing business.
@@tobiastho9639 Wow
Sandy Hollows may have many people getting stuck, but the rescue itself goes quickly, doesn´t require many helping hands and i´s not too far away.
I guess the recovery fees there are much, much lower than the other, offroadier stuff and so, though more numerous, don´t generate much income
sthenzel Most people getting stuck also get help by others around. Only a fraction of those call „Winder Towing“ (Matt) for help.
@@tobiastho9639 But of those we never knew! We just know how many cars he rescues there in relation to other locations.
That place looks like your #1 money maker. Good thing they got you in the area. Nice thing you did for people in the Olds Alero with the Vet tag on it. As Always, May God Bless you and yours!
Hey Matt, A detailed video on how you setup that aux cooler would be amazing.
We’ll just get you pulled out. Nice to see you help folks out of the goodness of your heart! That’s the kind of stuff we like to see! Good job 👍
Its becoming very clear that Ed is the keystone that makes everything work Excellent video that could have used some dogs, thanks!!
I get excited every time I see you've posted another video! Thank you for bringing us along on all your adventures.
It would be appreciated if you made a video on your cooling/heating modification.
Before watching your videos I knew nothing about my truck. Now I'm a faithful watcher my truck and I are getting along fine. Thanks for teaching me what I need to know about keeping my truck safe and running. I absolutely love your videos. Love from dune city Oregon
That Oldsmobile is not the vehicle of someone that could afford a tow. She was so over it. Sometimes ya just gotta help somebody out.
They seem like sketchy characters and I think Matt saw that decided to call it

Driving in my work truck I get a notification as soon as I seen it was for matts off road recovery I pulled right over just to watch it lol
Ed's camera work was awesome. He even gave the camera bit of a dutch angle as you were hooking up the chains to give the audience more of a sense of dread. Perfect timing. Dudes a natural.
ONE busy day !!?? Matt's beard grew very fast in the hot weather !!
Glad to see you making the world a better place. Salute to you all!
If I owned a rental company I would be watching this channel.
Unfortunately, by the time the video goes out. The renter has already returned the vehicle.

I’m from New Zealand. It’s winter time. When you local guys say “it’s hot” it must be incredibly warm. Love your videos, thanks for sharing.
how's the New Zealand winter? is it cold?
I heard New Zealand (places like Auckland) winter is not that cold, and summer is not that hot.
Ali Reza I live in the southwest of the North Island, we had 17C a few days ago. If we see snow on the ground it would be a few hours on one day of winter. Summer maxes out at 32C. New Zealand is pretty much blessed with good rainfall, grows a lot of grass, and temperate. Great place to call home
I guess the van couldn’t....ESCAPE?
@Ignacio Talavera Narrow tires, not following the road and trying to shortcut it, yeah I noticed they had no reason to be stuck in the first place.
They are rental camper vans. They have no clue what they are doing. Kauai camper vans Kauai. Com
@@FATTONYKAUAI It doesn't take rocket science to realize in a van you follow the actual road.
I rent them to people every day you won’t believe the stupid shit. People have done in my vans. Stuck in drive thru. Hit gas pumps. Put gas in a diesel 🤦♀️
@@FATTONYKAUAI Ouch, so people have no common sense then? I always ask the clearance if I rent a vehicle like this just in case of a fast food stop oh and low bridges. I stick to gravel or tarmac due to skinny highly inflated tires due to the extra weight of these things. You should have a clause in your contracts that protects you from idiots I guess.
I enjoy watching you work, that Jeep is a real workhorse!!!.....Love seeing the wire harness hanging from the inside of the tailgate!!!....Some things are important, others not worth worrying about!!!!
Definitely wanna see what you did to your cooling system after hearing about it. My 87 xj is gonna get some major upgrades in that department.
Flow kooler water pumps
yeah Jeeps are famous for overheating and running hot.
I was out at Sand Hollow on Sunday Aug 2nd (temps around 112 F) and that sand is NO JOKE!! Headed in, I almost got stuck... until I realized that I was in 2wd with all the nannies turned on. Glad I made it out, but sorry I didn't get to meet you. Btw, to all the viewers, don't under-estimate the sun out there. Worst sunburn of my life! Two weeks later and I'm still feeling the pain.
Went out to Toquerville falls the following day and it was by far our kids favorite part of the trip. Thanks Matt!!!!!
Commenting from the UK.
I have sat for the last 3 days and have watched every one of Matt's Videos...... Now what am I going to do?
I got to that same point a short few months ago. It kinda feels like you've reached the end of the internet, doesn't it? like you said, now what? :-)
@Prakash H K if I could afford the flight from the UK I probably would, would love a t-shirt after all haha
I just go back and watch a 2nd or 3rd time and wait till a new one is posted.
Come to America, rent a 4WD, get stuck- make a call :)
So cool you gave that car a freebie, you could tell they needed it!👍❤️
Marketing idea: Everyone you rescue should get a hat that says, Winder Rescued Me!
At least offered as part of the bill... most would jump at the chance! Y'all are becoming very popular! Ed's signature costs extra! :)~
Or maybe 'I didn't run over the rope'
I want the shirt, " I made a call". I think it's a very nice for Matt to give back to his customers. Great job Matt
Matt.. you are an awesome dude... I'm pretty sure you were the most positive thing to happen to that couple in a while. God Bless you and your family/crew!
I bet ed has stories for days I'd love to just sit and talk to him
The poor Oldsmobile Elero had seen better days. Disabled plates an vet sure must have appreciated the help.
Love the adventures you go on!
This is probably the first time Randy didn't sound like he just stumbled off of Willie Nelson's tour bus.

Ed with the weather report!
Top notch man, keep doing a great service. Love the jeep, makes me smile seeing an XJ do heavy work properly and not being thrashed and getting the job done with such finesse
Thank you for talking care of a veteran
Helping out the Alero was a great job man. Sometimes you gotta give back when you can. That right there is a good lesson for the rest of us that you thought. Wish you much success man. 👍
It looked like the Escape van was trying to short cut the road. A good rule of thumb when off the pavement “NEVER! take a short cut”.
You missed your calling Ed. Eds footage is gold.😎Ed's commentary can brighten anyones day and will get you pointed north if you guide by the stars!

They should call this place Sand Swallow because the sand seems to swallow up all sorts of vehicles.
