FINALLY! I've watched too many recovery videos on Matt, Rory, and other channels of people who were high-centered on the sand with a winch on their Jeep and they had to call for rescue because they had nothing to winch to. Need to put LAND ANCHOR in the title so it's searcheable.

Matt, Paul, and Robby won’t give us a video till tomorrow but thank god for Rory giving us a good video on Saturday lol these are my favorite channels, trail mater, Matt’s off road recovery, Fab Rats, and Robby Layton!!!!!!!
@Jeremiah Smith, I automatically subscribed to every channel that had something to do with Ed's Golden Nugget and the Rokon; even if they just delivered a bolt for it... Haven't regretted my decision yet.🤙

A sand recovery???? a novelty for TrailMater... the master of rocks, snow and now sand too... and always having a little time to play at the end... Thanks Rory and Mike

Man it was cool seeing ole mater get to stretch his legs and play on that hill at the end … for a rig that works so hard a little goofing around once and awhile is well deserved !
Rory, you always have fun interesting things to show us fans. Since I never knew about land anchors, I am really impressed on how well it works. Thank You for taking us along on all your adventures and creative builds!
Wow rory. I knew trailmater was awesome but man how many secret tricks that thing got. Those land anchors were amazing. Ur definitely gonna win that competition. Great job brother. Keep up all the great content u and ur team. Great guys

Mad recovery skills! My money is on Rory and Trailmater in the upcoming towtruck competition. Love Matt and Paul, but you sir, are a living legend. God bless
I was always wondering why you and matt was not using land anchors for self-recovery, but now it's here! I always had one on my 1994 Toyota and it always worked like a charm, never had to make the phone call of shame. :D
The phonecall of more great RUclips content, featuring offroad recovery buddies doing what only they can do, and being there for each other. To try your best and to fail is absolutely acceptable. Even arguably more entertaining. Being too afraid to even try in case you fail, there's the shame. Not something that imo you could ever level at any of the recovery teams we watch eg operating in Utah. A state in the US, previous to covid and getting hooked on these RUclips videos, I confess I had no idea that I'd seen in Westerns or eg Wile E Coyote cartoons, knew any more about than the actual name.
This is quintessential Trail Mater: get stuck deep and self-rescue almost nonchalantly. with a surprise from the bag of tricks that is this wrecker. High drama, well played by Rory, the cameraman, and the customer.
This is what we had many years ago around !ake texoma & the tricky S Canadian river. Rock crawling wasn't a thing yet, so we went & played in the sand. There were 3 things necessary, or a fun day could quickly turn into an afternoon on the end of a shovel, or winch practice. Nice big tires, the perfect gear ratio, & lots of torque from a big block. Happy days!
After watching you working in the sand gives me a greater appreciation of hard work Matt does. The land anchor is really useful when needed & was nice to see one in action. Thanks for sharing.
