Someone Needs A Skyhook

  • While in Sand Hollow for Trailhero w got a call for a buggy wedged in a crack on a trail called Nasty Half. The guys were in town shopping and grabbing lunch when I called. They came and we grabbed rigs and headed up. Upon seeing the vehicle we decided we needed to pull straight up. After some thought I decided on using a snatch block to give us the ability to pull straight up. With vehicles on both sides of the ravine we used winches to dislodge the buggy and lift it up. Then used the main boom to pull on the cage and stabilize it so the customer could get in it and assist by driving. Right after that we got a call for a jeep that had broken the balljoints, so we headed over to check that out. We got lucky and were able to lift it up and reset the balljoints allowing him to drive the vehicle in for later repairs. Thank you everyone for watching and supporting us.

Been a fun ride watching Matt going from “Winches are a waste of time, to seeing how they use them now and how they are being integrated into the heavy wrecker”. I think I give Rory and Crew the edge on technical know how. The MORR crew probably wins when it come to the “ When in doubt we’ll use brute force and ignorance to get them out” method.
Paul and the FabRats crew will be the unknown factor, they always seem to get the job done, and they know how to build a capable rig.

    Hey Rory...
Just when I think I've gotten over doing the "white knuckles" watching your recoveries, here you come with the "SKY-HOOK-sans-rotor-wing" move!! Holy Guacamole!!!!
    You boys are AMAZING!!
...and another one lives to crawl again!!!
Appreciate the way you, Sean and WisconsinMike work as such a well oiled machine...
    Safe travels, friends❤️❤️
    Stay FROSTY...
Keep your powder dry and your head on a swivel...

Yeah watching this is terrifying. But with all the punctuation and frosty powder talk, I'd say you're on drugs if I didn't know better
