if you can brush and floss you will be alright (as longa s you can clean it really good) but i would still get that area filled so you dont have to worry and think about it. call your dentist who did your filling and tell them your filling fell off it has been almost a year but some might do it for free it's worth a shot.

Your video is so good! I’m currently using Dentemp and it has been like 4-5 days now since I last applied. So far, so good but I am still more careful than usual with that tooth. The US is at the top for the COVID19 so right now, I really don’t wanna risk going to any dental or clinic. I am curious how long I can use this? oh sorry to hear that, yeah with all the clinics closed i am sure its concerning. so when it comes to temp filling when its placed and it didnt come off then you can just leave it there. they usually, last a month or until its wears down which ever comes first but i hope the clinics in your areas opens up . if it did fall off then place the new one instead reusing the old one >
If it is a back moral then you can chew on carrots and let them act as a temporary filler till you can get to the dentist. They are good for the teeth, gums and will protect the inside of your tooth. I drink a lot of coffee and didnt want to get that inside the tooth and make it worse so i used the carrot method and it worked!

One of my big fillings came out about an hour ago but it fits back in perfectly. I have a dentists appointment in 3 weeks already booked so may try a tiny bit of the temporary putty under my old filling to hold it in place or am I better just putting putty in and throwing the filling away?
I feel like the filling in my molar has been decayed or came out from the centre only it's been 3 year now . And whenever my lower molar or food touches the centre part of that molar it hurts . Does it get to filled again ?
Thank GOD I got a sugar free gum laying around, I was flossing at midnight and accidentally snagged on the temporary filling, i didn't even pull on it that hard but it just came off. Then I made sure my hands were clean, washed it and sprays some isopropyl alcohol on my hands, and use a small piece of sugar free gum to seal it back off, Thanks Doc!

you can use salt water rinse. but if you are brushing your teeth with fluoride toothpaste for good 2 minutes you will be fine without the rinse :D you can use the mouthwash without fluorine to make your mouth feel minty fresh and get rid of stuff on your braces.
only negative is that it cost a bit more but that little bit of extra cost is helping you to use them regularly, then its worth every penny :D thank you for the comment and hope you have a good one !!

8 more months is a long time. i would advise youto check out a local dental university but during this time i am sure you will have trouble finding a school clinic that would take in patients. temporary Puddy works best if there are walls around the hole. was your filling off to the side of the tooth?

I would say congratz !! your tooth was good as new soon :D sounds to me it was a deep cavity and your dentist wants to see how your tooth is recovering before placing the filling. cuz if you are having any pain during this time it would be easier for dentist to open up the temporary filling and be less invasive than a permanent filling.

@@jesusc3625 i got a root canal, it lasted awhile maybe up to 1-3 hours, my tooth is good now, got it over a month ago i think, and it’s good, could eat good, but take care of your teeth, wait for awhile before chewing hard stuff, u will get to choose medicine or pills to take after the root canal, because it may be sore from all the stuff in the tooth
Also I’m kinda worried that if this does work and the wax stays on, the time when it’s supposed to come off (when it’s been a few weeks or so) that my filling too will come off along with it causing more damage and pain? Should I be worried 😟

I chipped my tooth 5 years ago and it’s not a big chip I got it filled once or twice then the filling came out and I recently got it filled back up, I think the dentist made the hole bigger when I left they said I might need a crown if the other one falls out but

sorry to hear you lost your filling T T you can leave it for a week no problem just make sure to gently brush that area and try to avoid chewing on that side. you just want to make sure its clean there until you see your dentist :D

I have a tooth taken out on the top right and next to it was exposing filoing which has losen and come out so there gap between tooth and i can feel it wen i have water i ca feel sharp pain then it goes after water comes i to contact... it will be hard to get it in between that area but wats the best one online to buy for temp filling ?
your filling was on the side of the tooth. those areas are super hard to place with temp filling but any dentemp with eugenol would work. you will have to deal with the temp falling off frequently but until you can see your dentist keep the area that is exposed cover (dont mold the filling into a tooth) just place smooth the surface.

@@aq4life1 it is hard to give you a definite solution but the crowd would give you best comfort but cost is couple of times more than the filling, which is a downside. if this is the first time tell your dentist how it fell out and he or she will ajust it so it wont off next time they can adjust it so the filling wont be taking too much force but if its a molar and if the area bit too big he or she will probably recommend a crowd.
Here's one that will shock ya.... Pria to LOCKDOWN ihad a loose back tooth which had got worse and l was due to have it extrated.... LOCKDOWN came an all dentists stopped..... I was desperate as the tooth was now giving me pain food was getting in and it was beginning to taste horrible in my mouth... I phoned my dentist desperately hoping she would tell me she could extract my tooth WRONG SHE PROMPTLY TOLD ME TO TRY TO TAKE IT OUT MYSELF.. I WAS HORRIFIED SO WAS MY HUSBAND WHO NEARLY PASSED OUT ON THE FLOOR 😱WHEN I TOLD HIM. ANYWAY SHE TALKED ME THROUGH WHAT TO DO. AND AFTER AN HOUR AND A HALF OF ROCKING AND SLIGHT TWISTING I PULLED THE SUCKER OUT.... IT DID NOT COME OUT WHOLE THOUGH AND I HAD TO FISH AROUND FOR piece of root that I knew was still in there.... But I did it..... who would have thought it in 2020.... More like 1620.... So anyone who needs a tooth removing without anesthesia... I'm your girl...👍 I did have a slug of whisky first... isn't that what they did in the wild West 😱😱😱
once you placed the filing it takes a minute or two for it to become hard. you can keep the filling in there for a long time as long it doesnt come out. but i would hope you will see your dentist within couple of day to get a permanent filing done.
My fillings fell out on 3 teeth my clinic is not running hand pieces because they are afraid of aresolized covid so my dentist just told me to have my teeth pulled. I said “ so none of my teeth can be saved by re filling she said “ oh yeah but we are not doing fillings and a denture will fit better than trying to make a partial because of my malocclusion. I think my dentist is irresponsible. I want second opinion but any dentist in my area willing to do filling if needed won’t take my insurance!!
I'm getting mines out on the 7th I don't really think it will hurt because the last time I had fillings were a couple years ago but I dont really think it would hurt you

In my opinion, the dentist should be treated the same as the doctor. Shouldn’t ever be closed.
Yup filled mine today works really well, hopefully my dental insurance comes in the next few days, out of pocket expenses for refilling is $200 plus

yes the moister does activate putty but drying the area will help you make the placing puddy so much easier and it will stay on the area.

My root canal filling came out can I put dentek? I have no pain, but I don’t want it to get infected if food gets stuck

Hey, is it ok to use a mouthwash without fluorine for braces as my dentist said to use fluorine mouthwash but i've ran out and I can't find any x

Had a filling fall out and I have to say this helps me know what to buy. Also I did a better job then the tech that blocked my teeth by putting way to much filling once I got food stuck a few time there it all broke off. Now I’m a week in next week is my appointment and I feel much better. Thanks again!
Yooo my filling just came out cause I was chewing gum and it was like in one of my back upper teeth the hole is in the middle of my tooth now and it feels pretty big tbh and i got that filling just last month so how long do you think is the longest longest maximum I can go with my tooth like this my next schedule appointment is in months what do I do
yeah same, and it hurts bad whenever i bite down to hard(which might be a different tooth problem idk), did you make it to get it fixed?

@@jesusc3625 i got a root canal, it lasted awhile maybe up to 1-3 hours, my tooth is good now, got it over a month ago i think, and it’s good, could eat good, but take care of your teeth, wait for awhile before chewing hard stuff, u will get to choose medicine or pills to take after the root canal, because it may be sore from all the stuff in the tooth
My tooth filling came out and i have a very small cavities on one tooth 😭im worried.
Also I’m kinda worried that if this does work and the wax stays on, the time when it’s supposed to come off (when it’s been a few weeks or so) that my filling too will come off along with it causing more damage and pain? Should I be worried 😟

I chipped my tooth 5 years ago and it’s not a big chip I got it filled once or twice then the filling came out and I recently got it filled back up, I think the dentist made the hole bigger when I left they said I might need a crown if the other one falls out but
I was brushing my teeth and I was washing out my mouth and something was moving in my mouth an my tooth started aching did my filling fell out I only had it for a couple days
I am still having the root canal treatment but as soon as we got back home the filling/crown? fell out. I freaked out soo yea

sorry to hear you lost your filling T T you can leave it for a week no problem just make sure to gently brush that area and try to avoid chewing on that side. you just want to make sure its clean there until you see your dentist :D

What if your whole toooth with the filling falls out
I have a tooth taken out on the top right and next to it was exposing filoing which has losen and come out so there gap between tooth and i can feel it wen i have water i ca feel sharp pain then it goes after water comes i to contact... it will be hard to get it in between that area but wats the best one online to buy for temp filling ?
your filling was on the side of the tooth. those areas are super hard to place with temp filling but any dentemp with eugenol would work. you will have to deal with the temp falling off frequently but until you can see your dentist keep the area that is exposed cover (dont mold the filling into a tooth) just place smooth the surface.
@@daeleesmile6800 thanks yeh i used that to cover it up... i was thinking the same if i get a new filling cos next to it there is no tooth it will always come out due to know support.... so wats best can i do fillin and get a crown around it or wuld the other tooth need to be broken up or can i bot put sumthin else to cover it without damaging other tooth next to it?
@@aq4life1 it is hard to give you a definite solution but the crowd would give you best comfort but cost is couple of times more than the filling, which is a downside. if this is the first time tell your dentist how it fell out and he or she will ajust it so it wont off next time they can adjust it so the filling wont be taking too much force but if its a molar and if the area bit too big he or she will probably recommend a crowd.

Here's one that will shock ya.... Pria to LOCKDOWN ihad a loose back tooth which had got worse and l was due to have it extrated.... LOCKDOWN came an all dentists stopped..... I was desperate as the tooth was now giving me pain food was getting in and it was beginning to taste horrible in my mouth... I phoned my dentist desperately hoping she would tell me she could extract my tooth WRONG SHE PROMPTLY TOLD ME TO TRY TO TAKE IT OUT MYSELF.. I WAS HORRIFIED SO WAS MY HUSBAND WHO NEARLY PASSED OUT ON THE FLOOR 😱WHEN I TOLD HIM. ANYWAY SHE TALKED ME THROUGH WHAT TO DO. AND AFTER AN HOUR AND A HALF OF ROCKING AND SLIGHT TWISTING I PULLED THE SUCKER OUT.... IT DID NOT COME OUT WHOLE THOUGH AND I HAD TO FISH AROUND FOR piece of root that I knew was still in there.... But I did it..... who would have thought it in 2020.... More like 1620.... So anyone who needs a tooth removing without anesthesia... I'm your girl...👍 I did have a slug of whisky first... isn't that what they did in the wild West 😱😱😱

How long are you not meant not to wait
once you placed the filing it takes a minute or two for it to become hard. you can keep the filling in there for a long time as long it doesnt come out. but i would hope you will see your dentist within couple of day to get a permanent filing done.
My fillings fell out on 3 teeth my clinic is not running hand pieces because they are afraid of aresolized covid so my dentist just told me to have my teeth pulled. I said “ so none of my teeth can be saved by re filling she said “ oh yeah but we are not doing fillings and a denture will fit better than trying to make a partial because of my malocclusion. I think my dentist is irresponsible. I want second opinion but any dentist in my area willing to do filling if needed won’t take my insurance!!
