Hey I literally just chipped a piece of a tooth off and there's a little hole in my tooth now? Probably a cavity, can I use this stuff on something like that until I get to the dentist? I'm freakin out.
mikez2009 You can yes.
Though if your tooth just broke and there is a “hole” solely because of it breaking, it might not actually be a cavity.
But yeah this stuff is a cheap *temporary* fix and should work for you.

I'm in my 30s and still have a deciduous (baby) tooth that never had an adult tooth to replace it. I was told to keep it as long as I could. It recently cracked partially, making it sensitive. Not being able to get to the dentist with the stay st home order, I picked up some Temparin Max.
For me, the temporary filling lasts about 3 days. I thoroughly brush, floss, use an aloe vera rinse and then apply a small ball of the Temparin. I found it best to do this before bed so I don't have to worry about accidentally drinking or eating before it has set. If you're doing a temporary filing with this, do not touch the area with your tongue so that it will set better.
The length of time it will last can't really be estimated... it just depends. For me it's approximately 3 days, but there are quite a few applications in the container.

It says to visit a dentist within 48hrs. I have an appointment in a week to have the said tooth filling redone (it just decided to fail between booking and the arranged appointment) will it be ok for leaving for 7/10days, assuming it stays there for the mentioned time?
My saliva is just making it run away from the tooth and not hardening? My filling is on the front side of the tooth 🦷 any way to stop this? 🙏

A filling came out last Friday. I rang my Dentist and she suggested using them as a repair whilst COVID 19 is with us. Just sent off for some.

Hello sir, I’m so glad I found this video of yours. My tooth filling came off and I’ve applied this just 3 hours ago. It has set fine and properly aligned with my bite but I am curious how long I can do this for? Most dental clinics are closed now here in The US and have highly advised to postpone non-essential procedures and tooth filling is one of them (because of the Pandemic). We’re also trying to avoid going to clinics and Hospital because of it. I saw the hole before I put it on and it seems clean, without any black spots or whatsoever. I will of course put on priority to visit a dentist soon but with the COVID19 issue going on, I don’t know how soon I will be able to actually have it Professionally done.

Hi Dr Spry. A large old filling and some tooth fell out of my back molar. The tooth now has a pointy edge and it's hard to chew crunchy or chest food . It clicks against my bottom molar at times and overlaps it. f I use this product how long will it stay in my tooth? Can I remove it after it sets?

Cap came off yesterday so I got this. Less than 24 hours later, it popped off as I was taking my tooth guard out.

I have recently cracked my molar and unfortunately with the COVID19 situation, I cannot get to a dentist. I have spoken over the phone with a dentist and they told me to use a temporary filling. My molar has a root canal and filling done, but has decayed around the filling and cracked, half of it fell off. No pain, a little tender to the touch though, but no swelling. I bought today the DenTek Dental First Aid Kit, and mine has Eugenol solution in in too, apart from the TEMPARIN MAX filling. Is it any different from what you've presented and how long is it safe for me to wait with this temporary filling, giving the current situation? Thank you in advance.

good morning sir. I hope you could help me please. I have had root canal treatment in a tooth that has been prepared for another crown he placed a temp filling in it.. this was two weeks ago,
Sadly It flared up and was very painful. He said it was infected and I was given antibiotics and when i went back he had a nother clean up in the cavity the dentist then placed cotton wool in the pre molar cavity but no filling on top and another round of antibiotics which finished today
i was due to go back yesterday, which was just a few days after he had placed the cotton wool in.
Now due to the corona outbreak, the surgery is now closed. He did call me yesterday morning and suggested i get some of this dentek and do it myself.
at the moment it doesn't hurt at all ( thats good news) it just has the cotton wool in it.
Can you please advise me, should i pull the wool out with tweezers and then wash out with say, salty warm water then apply a small amount of this dentek? do i put a little cotton wool in the hole first and then place a little filler on top? if i squashed the cotton in, and covered am i likely to get trouble?
Or do I leave it open? Obviously I am worried that if it kicks off again, I will find it very difficult to get any treatment whilst we have this awful virus about. Last thing I want is toothache for weeks!

@@drmarcusspry3623 yes. I swallowed it and was able to get a new crown. I have food get stuck between it and the tooth next to it now though. Floss doesn't get it out. I end up using toothpick flossers then floss. I have to do this gently or my gums swell for days.

I’ve been using this since all the Covid . I can’t tell you how truly frustrating this is! Because all Dentists are not seeing patients, now the inside corner of my tooth the filling came out and left a hole. So I’ve bought this teeth cement andmoulded it to fit in the hole. Perfect fit , the new problem for me is it gets a bit rough , meaning it’s not smooth and my tongue keeps rubbing up against it. If you can stop returning there with your tongue., great, problem solved .temporarily of course. But pretty amazing when no dentists are open. Good luck if you have ago... thank you for your video

The crown fell off from my implant. How is just a piece of sharp metal it's cutting my tongue. Sticking up. Something else would not treat me even though I've been biting my tongue I'm cutting it on That Metal. Because they're only treating real emergencies. My immune system is tax so the extra pain is causing more sores in my mouth because I have push-ups syndrome. With this stuff be good to just put my crown back in until if you're able to replace it?

Your dentist can safely remove it for a permanent solution.

I decided to give this a thumbs up simply because this guy was a dentist and was happy to try to help people, whereby normal dentists are just after charging a fortune. Like many views say however, you didn't say it the temporary crown would stay in and for how long which I feel was important to say? Apart from that many thanks for being kind enough to help us people who have lost a crown. I myself have had a very loose small front bottom crown which is hanging on but now feeling some pain! And I can only eat on the left and am eating on the right and cannot chew my food properly! Perhaps I ought to eat babies food temporarily? SIGH......

I was halfway through a treatment before the corona virus situation happened and had a temporary filling while a dental lab was making a cap for me......However due to the Corona situation my dental surgery has closed until further notice 😳 -and my temporary filling had come out!
What should I do?

Hi, I have broken a double tooth at the very back of my mouth top. It has brought the existing filling out which was quite deep ( well it feels it).
