I want to ask some questions. 1: can I get aligners instead of braces? 2: in what cases extraction is important? 3: does extrection hurt? 4: does aligners hurt?
aligner like Invisalign? if that is the case its really up to you, they both do the same. invisalign is a bit costly than the other also its comfortable too since you dont have brackets but you since you are young i think you should get regular braces. extraction when you dont have even space in your mouth some ppl have a small mouth and big teeth also when you have bad cavities. we try to avoid extraction as much as we can to be honest. extraction generally doesnt hurt i would say it only hurt during anesthesia (needle injection) but I had some who didnt like /pulling feeling/, you know the feeling when someone were to pull your hair minus the pain. on a pain scale, i would say around 3 out of 10 you might not be able to eat something super tough or chewy its not to bad to the point you will cry dw dw :D
@@kitty2345 that's what I've heard too but it's actually not true. I'm getting a re-root canal treatment because the last time that I got it I was younger and stupid . Extraction can leave major problems such as your teeth moving into the gap to try and fill it as nothing is stopping them.

THANK YOU. I finally got my cavity filled about 8 days ago. I’ve had this cavity for years so I thought they would pull it but i was surprised that they filled it. Now when i went to 1 dentist they said i would need a root canal or pulled. They couldn’t pull it there and i would have to go to a specialist. Now, They didn’t even give me any anesthesia but it didn’t hurt when they filled it but i feel it now 😭 it’s just discomfort. Sometimes it’s that headache. Unfortunately they didn’t give me any do’s and don’ts paper like they gave me with my wisdom removal. The pain comes and goes like yesterday, but other days i need ice.

@@heartroll8719 it's better it's not excruciating.. but it's not the same. I often find myself chewing on the other side if my mouth just to avoid that tooth. It doesn't necessarily hurt it's just uncomfortable. It feels wrong 😭
It's been less than a week since my filling. I needed an old one re-filled because it was thinning out. I wouldn't say I'm experiencing pain, but more sensitivity, usually once a day after my first meal. This is expected, but the last thing I want is to experience this for months, or even worse, a root canal. The stupid thing is that this feels a lot worse than before my trip to the dentist.
So basically almost 10 days ago I went to my dentist as one of my teeth required treatment. It was necessary to go really deep into the tooth in order to get the cavity out. In the first week I didn’t feel any pain, but then I started developing quiet a weird type of pain which tends to persist and it’s existed for about 3 days, I only feel it when I eat something though. Still, I’m really worried and concerned about the probability of the tooth requiring to get a root canal. As it also hurts a bit when I drink water (not necessarily hot or cold). However, when I last visited my dentist (about 5 days ago), she said that there occurred an inflammation in my gums which could be because of the Anastasia she had used. I thought you might be able to help a little and maybe tell me what you think. Thanks 🙏 in advance!
its a good sign that you didnt feel any pain in your first week. so you dont have to worry about getting a root canal. i would agree with inflammation as well. do you usually floss? i am also wondering if any food particle might be stuck between your teeth and its causing you to feel pain.
daeleesmile I don’t really floss usually, but I sometimes use toothpicks if I feel like there’s some type of food particle stuck there. And I definitely brush my teeth around 2-4 times a day. Really happy I don’t have to get a root canal!
I just had a filling done today. My dentist told me if I feel any sensitive or discomfort to come back in the next day for root canal. Thank God I came across your video. I'm gonna wait couple days and see if it goes away. If not I'm gonna go and see the witch....lol
When dentist drill too deep and hit the nerve it will cause pain. Some dentist are bad and they want you to go back for more procedure because it's more money for them. Be careful.... Some are crooks
I got 3 root canals in almost an hour and I thought it was just one. The pain was 0, the only negatives were the bad taste of lydocaine and that drilling sound (which everyone hates and makes us stay away from the dentist). The next 3 root canals were as easy, but the 7th one was a bit uncomfortable because it was on 26 (you know what I mean, 3rd molar from the end) and my gag reflex was giving me trouble. And I also still have a bit of pain, but decreasing. The last root canal was supposed to be today, on 17, but I couldn't take it. DO NOT ignore your teeth people, otherwise you'll end up like me, 38yo and fixing almost my full denture with implants (basal implants) and spending 10k euro in a split second.
I had a cavity that NEVER HURT. No sensitivity either. So I got it filled over a week ago and it is still hurting! the first few days afterwards it was hurting continuously and would not stop until I took Tylenol or Ibuprofen. I went back into the dentist and she filed it down and its been 4 days its hurting less but still have to take pain meds. i can go hours without pain but if I chew on the filling side it will start hurting and the pain lasts hours. I regret getting the cavity filled. my pain free life was so good before. now with a probable root canal Im stressed about the cost. any thoughts? should I wait to see if it improves? how long to wait? or should i go in for a root canal and not endure the pain any longer. also my jaw on that side hurts too.
oh noo, i understand your frustration. but cavity will eventually cause pain so you getting that tooth filled was the right move. i would suggest that you wait a bit longer, 3 - 4 days to see how you feel after before jumping into getting a root canal. do you feel anything on that side when you drink cold or hot water? something tells me it could be your gums that is causing your current irritation.
I have got a cavity filled yesterday and even though I got anesthesia I could still feel bad nerve pain, Dentist said it was a deep cavity! Now a day has gone by and I could still feel nerve pain whenever I try biting. I wish it would stop, what could this nerve pain mean? It’s stronger than what I could take😩
Camila I’ve done a little research but like the video explains, basically a deep cavity can cause no pain if it’s not near the pulp yet but it will reach the pulp if no action is taken, if a tooth looks healthy beneath it can still be infected with bacteria. When a dentist goes in and cleans that bacteria out, depending on how deep, your pulp where all the nerves are will be very, very tender because some may have to be removed. It will hurt. Suggest oil pulling. What kind of filling did you get and maybe have it fitted again make sure it’s right.
Anika be happy that you got a filling i also had a cavity that did not hurt and i left it for months and when it did start to hurt, i went to the dentist and the dentist told me that it has to be removed because of infection. And i fuckin regret waiting it out.
My mouth has A LOT of fillings. I have a bad cavity that has been hurting me so I gotta go to the dentist but I am afraid of pain, I know it souds weird but I have a huge phobia of pain •I got it removed and know I am in no pain-
Got a cavity near my gum on my canine but got drillings and fillings without anaesthesia because I had a work meeting after and didn’t know I was going to get a filling or a decay 😂 I survived
Had a filling using a micro drill thingy from the dentists. Years later... I even hear a high pitches noise, similar to the drill, or even the WORD drill, the specific tooth they filled HURTS. It’s hurting right now typing about it.... same when I was researching about cluster headaches, now I have it along with the listed symptoms. My family just say I’m pretending or copying.... I rlly can’t help it, I feel pain that doesn’t happen to me. Only what I think.

I went to the dentist to have my bite adjusted 3 diffrent times after a few cavities were fixed. And I cant put any bite pressure on the top of my molar. Its fine on the corners but I can't in the middle. What did they do to my tooth?
@ak_shavar I can't chew anything hard like chips so I jist switched sides, I found out when I went to get them adjusted the 3rd time it was a diffrent person than the last time and they took down alittle to much. It's all good tho
If you ever feel that way, you gotta CHANGE your dentist. I did that and the new dentist redo my fillings and everything is ok. The previous dentist caused me pain for months.
ME RNNNNN OMGG AND I HAD IT DONE YESTERDAY ITS BEEH ONLY A DAY AND IM CRYING CUZ SHIT HURTS AND I JUST SAW I HAD TO DEAL W IT FOR A MONTH LIKE I'D RATHER DIE NOW I CANT EAT NUN
Main reasons why: restoration is too high, dentist causes iatrogenic pulpitis, waiting for reversible pulpits to resolve, misdiagnosing condition as reversible when really irreversible pulpits, dentinal hypersensitivity likely due to lack of marginal seal, soft tissue trauma caused by restoration procedure
Liked the way he said quite some time lol pretty funny. Good shit working on 11 fillings.. o.o 6 down but none stop pain last 2 days this was helpful !! Thank you
I got my cavity filled 3 weeks ago. When I drink cold water and eat food I feel pain. I keep taking Tylenol to get by. I did go back to the dentist 2 weeks after I got the feeling to complain of the pain. The dentist seemed confused, he told me that infection is unlikely. I waited another week and I still feel pain. Don’t know what to do anymore
How long does it take to drill the bacteria or decay the tooth out? I can't find any article. If there is one teeth that needs to be done, and you sit in the dentist chair, how long is he going to drill the hole with the drill, like continuous 30seconds? And the rest is filling etc.. that takes 10minutes?
Drilling and cleaning go together for about 5 min (not continuous), and temporary filling 1 min and shaping 1 min. 10-15 min overall including local anesthesia. I believe, permanent filling takes little longer.

What would cause continuous pressure and pain in the face weeks after a root canal? I never had any pain beforehand but since then I’m having issues everyday. I’m on a second round of antibiotics and taking ibuprofen with no change.
it might be some complication on the root tip of the tooth but hard to give you a solid answer ^ ^:; if antibiotics doesnt seem to reduce the issue by this week i would go see the dentist again and take another x-ray. which tooth is this if i may ask?
daeleesmile it is tooth #14. I had a filling in it about 8 years ago, but weeks after that I had pain. I was told it was drilled too deep and I needed a root canal. The pain went away and I never went back out of fear. I ended up with an abscess that I neglected for a few years in that tooth before finally going. There was a pretty big shadow above the tooth in the xray. I never had any pain and I also had a gum bubble that would drain. Ever since the root canal I have constant pain and pressure in my cheek, Some eye pressure, and some nerve pain. I was on antibiotics a few days after and am now getting put on new ones. I was wondering if I could’ve got nerve damage from all the bone loss above the tooth and then getting local anesthetic and then having it worked on. Or maybe something leaked out the tip of the root like the filler or the sodium hypochlorite. It’s getting so upsetting to feel this everyday.

hey man, you make nice videos. I was just wondering that it hurts in my teeth and the clinic is closed these days, its like long pain that stays after I drink something cold, what should I do?
if the pain lingers on for more than 30 seconds, its highly likely that you have deep cavities. but the good news is that you feel the pain which means your pulp is functioning. I would avoid drinking anything that would cause your tooth to react and try to go to the clinic when it opens. if the pain get serious or if you feel pain when you are resting. take pain killer like ibuprofen and see your dentist asap

The first thing you need to do to avoid post-treatment pain is to avoid the unnecessary use of local anesthesia. If the proper diamond drills of the fine grain (marked with red, yellow, or white stripe) are used there should be no pain unless the drilling is going too deep into the healthy tissue. Diamond drills on high torque rotating instruments are supposed to be used only in enamel or to remove the old filling. Using diamond drills in the dentine layer beneath the enamel will inevitably cause pain because dentine is sensitive to every kind of physical stimulation be it thermal, mechanical, or chemical (sweet, sour, salty) Every dentist knows that but drilling anesthetized teeth is more comfortable and the job is done more quickly so he can treat more patients and earn more money. The fact that the patient feels no pain during the procedure doesn't necessarily mean that there was no iatrogenic (doctor-induced) damage done through overheating or penetrating the pulp cavity which can cause a range of inconveniences from a mild transient pain known as dentinalgia to serious complications requiring a root canal treatment depending on the extent of the over-instrumentation. It is also possible to remove tooth decay manually with instruments that do not produce heat and also enable much better control of the operation field since they do not require water cooling as well as with dedicated ultrasonic probes which cause considerably less to no damage.

Would you recommend a tooth pulling over a root canal? I’ve heard they can be dangerous and pointless.
@@kitty2345 that's what I've heard too but it's actually not true. I'm getting a re-root canal treatment because the last time that I got it I was younger and stupid . I thought that since the pain was gone I could treat it like I had before. If you observe good oral hygiene then root canal treatment teeth can last for your whole life. Extraction can leave major problems such as your teeth moving into the gap to try and fill it as nothing is stopping them.

THE BAD DENTIST Ramin Rayha DESTROYED MY HEALTHY TEETH TOO
So basically almost 10 days ago I went to my dentist as one of my teeth required treatment.
Hey girl, could you please give me an update, how many days/weeks it took for the pain while biting to go?
@@ekanshisharma5229 Hey, is your teeth okay now?
I just had a filling done today. My dentist told me if I feel any sensitive or discomfort to come back in the next day for root canal. Thank God I came across your video. I'm gonna wait couple days and see if it goes away. If not I'm gonna go and see the witch....lol
Was your cavity too deep? Mine did something and it started bleeding, lol. She told me to come back for a root canal if the pain persists.

It’s stronger than what I could take😩
Camila
I’ve done a little research but like the video explains, basically a deep cavity can cause no pain if it’s not near the pulp yet but it will reach the pulp if no action is taken, if a tooth looks healthy beneath it can still be infected with bacteria.

Ever since the root canal I have constant pain and pressure in my cheek,
Some eye pressure, and some nerve pain.

VA work led on a small cavity on my molar they ended up drilling too deep it infected the pulp - I was told by the VA they have to extract it becasue they can’t pay for a root canal-
So i think i might have a cavity. I'm really scared though if i do because i have a very bad fear of needles due to bas experience at a dentist in the past and I'm terrified of the numbing. It dosen't hurt when I'm brushing or eating. I can just kind of feel it. Also i had my wisdom teeth out a week ago and i don't know if that pain can make your other teeth hurt.
I had a root canal and a deep deep filling next to each other the pain took almost 2 weeks to go away! It hurt like hell. Then I had my permanent crown placed next to the deep filling lots of cement was left between the 2 teeth and now im having the filling pain all over again and the root canal pain its getting better been almost a week since permanent crown and few days since adjustments to the crown but im scared there may be something wrong I have a post as well and it feels like I've been in and out of pain forever now. Im praying the pain goes away if I didn't grind my teeth at night I wouldn't worry so much but I have disposable night gaurds im using now to help. Have 4 missing adult teeth that make finding my bite difficult but I hope this is all normal the cement I removed myself and then showed the dentist was about 4mm worth in 2 larger peices 🤕 want to be pain free!
Hey man did the pain go away? I'm asking because I have 2 or 3 bad molars in my mouth and I think I need serious treatment and im getting scared about all the comments about people saying that they experience alot of pain after fillings or root canals and I think I may need some too😭 im so afraid please let me know how your feeling and how long it takes for the pain to go away
@Brad Dion the pain does go away it was very sore for a bit but had another root canal after that one that didn't hurt at all almost. Trust me get it done there is no better answer than getting the work done. If you have pain now you may need a root canal. I hope it goes well for you. My experience is not the norm so I would expect yours will go better. But it did eventually stop hurting and now it's pretty good
@Brad Dion worst case the pain goes in 2 weeks best case if feels way better than before you got it done like my second one.
@@4444key ok thank you im so afraid of these root canal procedures😭 i think I'm going in for one today can you also let me know if the pain after words is unbearable or is it bearable please, man I'm just so scared let me know it the pain will increase or decrease
@@braddion6406 hay update same happens with me
My tooth wasn’t hurting prior to the cavity. I saw the cavity with my eye. The dentist went in to far because I felt the pain when she disturb the nerve area. It’s been a week I’m taking Motrin around the clock. I really don’t want a root canal because the cavity and that is the first thing she tried to do is referral me out. Now I’m thinking was this intentional?
How long hurts after a very deep caries filling? It is not constant but it’s been 7 days and dr decided to do a filling because the Caries didn’t touch the never but almost so he put a medicine and did the filling. He said let’s see how the nerves reacts. How long time need to pass to know if succeded?
