Have you ridden these paths before? What did you think of my ride? Where should I go next with my Brompton? Also realized after the fact that I got some stuff wrong, so forgive me Vancouverites i.e the big bridge at 9:20 is in fact the Granville Bridge and the smaller one behind is the Burrard :)
I used to bike on this route almost daily - it was lovely to go about the town on your bike on a nice day, and make stops to get some coffee and snacks. Spring is definitely the best time to bike around here!
Are the rules different on the bike paths in Vancouver or do you not stop for pedestrian at crosswalks? Seems like several times they had to get out of your way while already in the crosswalk.
The only time I've done that route was in the winter.. So much more beautiful, and crowded, in the spring! Some inspiration to go back. That and the wonderful cuisine. Oh yeah, and bakeries. And pretty much everything, really! 😆
Those cherry blossoms really pop, along with the rest of the colors this time of year. I've never seriously considered a Brompton until watching you scoot around on one, and I'm getting pretty sold... 😂
Vancouver is beautiful. I’ve been many times and always got around in a car. I get super intimidated navigating the city via roads. I’d love to bike the area someday.
you picked a fantastic day for the ride. Weather has been very changeable the past few days. False Creek is my favorite part of town, although I love the whole city!
Great epic bike vlog….really enjoyed this….shows the nice scenic loop trail around Vancouver…….wish you should’ve continued your Seattle to Vancouver tour showing where you stayed….hotels, Air BNBs.
I like your video of Vancouver. Not sure why you didn't bring any of your Brompton bikes to Netherlands. BTW in Amsterdam 9 streets area. There's a Brompton dealer with a really early model of the bike. BtW Vancouver probably has more Bike Friday than Brompton because of tax free Oregon and closeness of the BF company.
Riding around on a brompton seems like a great time especially when travelling. I'll have to pick one up in the future to start the n+1 collection. I, too, drove through Granville Island and wanted to be on a bike.
Here's a question...why are 90%+ bikers men? When you look at just e-bikes it's an even higher percentage. (not just in this video but as a general statement), I find it kind of odd. Any guesses?

Any chance you can post your recorded route? Thanks Randy

I noticed the same thing 😭 like bro you have to stop for pedestrians

I watched this while I was on the trainer and instinctively stopped pedaling at 48:36 😂
haha, hope you weren't on a workout

There's still more coming with the Seattle to Vancouver Tour!
As a bike vlogger….I think you need to show the experience of staying at hotels or camping Al fresco…..that adds to the adventure.
i biked 80km on the poco trail yesterday
Such a beautiful city! How about checking their neighbor, Victoria - there are so many bike trails and routes that it's dizzying to a Seattleite.
Haha no spoilers but I am planning a trip over there!
Where did you get your Brompton bike from??
This one actually in Vancouver at West point cycles
I remember it was crazy packed at the end of the RSVP….pretty scary 😂
Haha definitely just take it easy
