This is my route to work and home! BTW I saw riders crossing 8th/Westlake using the car signal and ignore the 2-step bike lanes most of the time. Usually it's only me waiting at the bike signal 3:30.
Thanks for the high quality tour presentation. Not to nitpick, but noted that both bikes rolled through the bicycle stop sign at 5:53. This is obviously unsafe when sharing the road with other users especially when crossing diagonally.
Thanks for watching. Here in Washington State we passed the Safety Stop law a few years ago that allows people biking to legally treat stop signs as yield signs when no other traffic is approaching and when they have slowed to a reasonable speed. Keep riding safe!
Just came over from your Vincita bag vid - this looks wild but way better than what we have in Los Angeles lol. But my neighborhood - Hollywood Boulevard - is getting a major bike lane upgrade this summer so I'm looking forward to that! Edit: Nice bike!
Wow, that was some refresh and awkward transitional footage of cra-zee Seattle street "progress' Looking forwards to getting back out there and as always...Thanks!!!
I've taken that route once, maybe twice. I much preferred 3rd Ave before, and now I prefer the 4th Ave PBL. This one definitely has way too many conflict points.

What do you think of these bike lanes? Have you used this route before? What would you change about it?

Man…some of the design choices, like the one on the 9th Ave is going to cause some road rage incidents down the line…
They should just outlaw cars in the downtown area.
My route to work and home.
