    Did you like the format? Have you read Seattle Bike Blog before? What do you think of the upcoming Transportation Levy? Who else should I ride with next?

      I love the format.
      Two cameras might be better but add the added expense of two cameras and more editing. Probably not worth it.

      This is a great format! I'd love to see more interviews, especially with a diverse group of commuters and cyclists.

    Loved hearing from SBB, as I’ve followed him from the beginning. Glad you are offering an explanation to your viewers of the Transportation Levy. I do cringe at you riding “over the line” on a bike path.

    As an out-of-state viewer who is originally from Washington, I’m curious. What are the state wide initiatives he talks about voting no on?

    • @BestSideCycling
      @BestSideCycling  2 месяца назад +1

      @@charleschapman6309 The one most often discussed is I-2117. Repealing carbon tax and climate programs.

      They're all pretty terrible. Two of them would regress Washington on its climate initiatives. One would even prevent the government from passing laws that "penalize" the use of natural gas. Another is a thinly veiled attempt to further cut public school funding. And another would cut funding for public health insurance, which would make health care prohibitively expensive for those with preexisting conditions. I'm sure if you follow the money, you'll find all of these initiatives were backed by big corporations with vested interests in cutting these programs.

    I haven’t gotten my ballot yet. Is this transportation levy on the ballot for snohomish county residents or is it strictly Seattle proper?

    • @BestSideCycling
      @BestSideCycling  2 месяца назад +1

      @@superdragon4ever strictly Seattle proper. You will have all the State wide initiatives on your ballot!

      @@BestSideCycling that’s understandable but a bummer since I’m in Seattle often and use the infrastructure and would love to support it
