I couldn't help thinking how proud Brett would be to see you handle this first interview like a pro and in such a gracious and Godly manner. You're a natural Becky ❤
My 3 year old granddaughter and I made this biscuit recipe. They were the best I’ve ever had. More so, I wanted to share with you something special in my heart. God has truly blessed us with your mission field. My granddaughter has a rare neurological speech disorder. She has minimal verbal communication, and attends four therapy sessions per week. Her disorder affects her ability to eat, and even smile. She uses a speech device to help her communicate. She will never recover from this disorder and will need lifelong therapy. She has absolutely fallen in love with your videos. We have been cooking together, and this special time allows me to work with her speech homework while she learns how to cook. She has been learning more sounds, and putting them together. The most special blessing is watching her smile. Your ministry has a far reach. Thank you! God has a beautiful purpose and plan for my granddaughter’s life. We can’t wait to discover what He has planned for her. You are a beautiful, Godly example of trusting God to navigate us through our journey. I pray God continues to bless you, and your family.
I’ve tried so many times to replicate my Mom’s biscuits. I’ve made some that weren’t bad, but they also weren’t hers. Flour, lard, buttermilk. She never measured, but it always made exactly 12 biscuits that fit perfectly in her biscuit pan. She was taught at the age of 5 and that was her job in my grandma’s kitchen when she was growing up. I sure do miss my mom.
Great recipes! Our Southern Baptist grandmothers and mothers never used frozen butter. Chef's are Counterfeiters! There is nothing new under the sun! Mothers and Grandmother's, awesome homesteaders, had our kitchens smelling delicious!! ❤️ I still use butter. I still bake with flour. I totally eliminated corn syrup from my pantry. Thank you for virtual home economics refresher lessons! Blessings. 🙏
My grandkids gave me Roku at Christmas so now I can watch RUclips on my TV. Discovered your show a few weeks ago after I got a pressure canner. I love it that you talk about God and share your love for Jesus with everybody. Thank you for teaching us so much.
This was wonderful! Brought back so many memories of my granny making her biscuits! She used her hands and had done it so may times she didn’t measure anything. And they came out perfect every time.
My mother used to talk about how her mother made fresh biscuits every morning (mostly for their Dad), and she said that "Mom never used a measuring cup or spoons, just knew how much of each ingredient to add, by eye". They had one of those "Hoosier" cabinets that were common in kitchens back then. Where the upper cabinet had a door with a canister behind it, that you dumped your 25 lb. (or more?) bag of flour in, and under the cabinet, was a handle, that you cranked and put your bowl under, and the flour would dispense. She said her mom would give it a few turns, knowing just how much flour she needed for the biscuits. My grandfather had biscuits, eggs and bacon every morning for breakfast. They lived in SW PA, but both grandma and grandpap were from Tennessee.
How I wish I was one of those grannies haha all my gran were either 1gen Italian or 1 German decent-all had measure cups neither used-some recipes were so good mom&I irritated both by measure&writing as they made kitchen magic as I bet U do 2
Great to see you having fun. God is so good to bring us through loss with his comfort. The joy of being a Christian is wonderful. I'm a Tennessee gal too. My husband of forty years died eleven years ago and God has not forsaken me yet.
Sweet & helpful video. I lost my husband of 43 years in 2018, my nickname for him was Treasure, bc he was. I know the hurt, and the loss. But I know God's promise to be a husband to the widow, and He is so faithful, Becky, to be with you every moment, in every ache, every tear. I'm sure you know it's almost home time for us all, so hang on. God bless you.
I’ll definitely try this recipe. I love biscuits and cornbread. Thank you for sharing your recipes, your family and your life with us. You’re a special lady. 🙏🏻❤️🙏🏻
I found that using the grater is much easier for my arthritic fingers. Grandma never measured anything and made biscuits every single morning and they were amazing. Practice makes perfect! Thank you for bringing back the basics. The last biscuit is called “Cooks treat”
I would like to thank this wonderful ladies don for letting us return to her biscuit recipe yo be sure we’re making them like she taught us. God bless you and we miss your mom also. Janice in TN. every time I make biscuits we think of your family.
Wow, going on tv ! So proud of you, I’m going to make those biscuits after I get me a giant measuring cup! Thank you for sharing your cooking and your love with us. You make me smile every time I watch you cook.
Just another home run for Becky Babe Ruth !! I would have been making these sooner if I knew how easy this was. Gods blessings for you Miss Becky. Amen to that 🙏
This by far the best biscuit recipe I've ever seen. They are light, fluffy, and have a great flavor. If you don't have self rising flour, all purpose flour, three teaspoons of baking powder and a TSP of salt will do. I always wind up a biscuit shy (I'm a dough eater!).
Becky, you deserve to be on television. Congratulations to you, the sky's the limit with the good Lord behind us guiding every day. And, like you say, be kind to one another.
How awesome that you are featured on a news segment! I hope some new subscribers are turned on to your excellent recipes. I will plan to try this biscuit recipe soon. Thanks!
Love this comment! I've been saying for a long time I would look up a scone recipe and make some just to see what they are like. Who knew? I have been making them for years. 😉💖

Ephesians 4:32 was the first verse I ever memorized in kindergarten Sunday school. Thanks for sharing that I always try to keep that in mind especially when I’m driving. 😂 I can’t wait to try your biscuit recipe. Thank you for all the good information because mine always do turn out like hockey pucks!

And I thank u also for sharing ur faith on ur channel, it is so uplifting to see as a Christian, and It is a wonderful witness to all who watch you.
My sister had two 8 cup bowls with lids. She wasn't strong enough to get the lids off, so she gave them to me, and I was so thankful. My mom cut the biscuits with a lemon can. There aren't lemon cans anymore, and the final scraps were made into a rough little biscuit that was "fought" over.
I’ve become the queen of biscuits with my 2 ingredient biscuits, thanks to you…my family loves them. My Daddy, taught me how to make biscuits when I was about 15or16 had a few hockey pucks 😄😃but got the end result good. One day when I was order we where watching hockey and Daddy said the players could use my first biscuits as hockey pucks 😃 Miss him and Mommy so much. GOD Bless You ❤️
