After having my hair in crochet or braids, I can whip back out the Cherry Lola and routine and within a couple of treatments, I'm back to wash and go curls. It just is so much easier to not have to wash my hair in sessions because it used to shrink sooo fast and sooo much it was painful to deal with.
Exactly. Too much time, if you work, having kids... You can't spend all this time on your hair just to have curls like this. And you have to do it at least once a week...

My hair is just like hers and gets as much definition, if not more, with some Shea Moisture Superfruit Complex conditioner, a little coconut or olive oil, and some eco styler gel on wash days. I’m glad she found what works for her though.
MsMockingbird06 Eco styler gel in the cream is the bomb, excellent to use with your leave in conditioner. Defines it amazing and the best part for me ...no flakkkkkkkkeeees. I hate gel that flakes I have no problem with eco styler

Omg. Finally some who knows what they are taking about. Your model was perfect. 4c is the thickest minuets hair. You also picked someone with low moisture and definition. If your formula can work for her hair( which is also mine) then it can work for any hair type. Like I fell in love with this video
oops i stole your nose maybe you and I should do a vlog and show the real truth. I'm a natural hair caregiver (aka stylist) I'm so tired of ppl lying to the 4 hair community. I want them to understand their hair and the true reality of it.
Thank you so much for this, my hair looks exactly like that in the first clip when I shampoo it 😭. It just looks and feels dry and my ends are always rough feeling it’s so annoying.
I'm definitely 4c but I now use ogx argan oil conditioner as a leave in along with Jamaican black castor oil. I see definition when I never did before. It's amazing! Not exactly like this young lady but I'm amazed. You really have to learn what your hair likes. I also stopped washing my hair all together and only spray bottled water on my hair. Find what works for you and good luck 😊
O'mya Curtis could you have damaged it some how? That dry and rough ends sounds like it. Mine had the same feeling no matter how much I cut. Ironically, it was from trying this method in the video! But I used baking soda! Do not use baking soda in your hair! The PH is too high and will damage your hair!
kalena Glory Not to my knowledge no, the only things I use on my hair at the moment are Shea butter, grape seed oil, black castor oil, Shea moisture manuka honey & Mafura oil line (shampoo and deep conditioner). As well as aloe Vera juice and H2O.
I have troubles with textureisim and colourisim, as in, I struggle with accepting and loving my dark skin and 4c (I think ) hair. Whenever I am commented on in way that implies relation to a Caucasian- such as a looser curl pattern or being told I’m lighter than someone- it makes me feel happier because most of the time I wish I was lighter and whiter. Videos like these where people embrace what they have helps me on my journey to self love ❤️
Listen...love your divine dark skin babes. And my partner's daughter has 4c hair I LOVE it...currently sitting here missing doing her hair as I haven't done it in a while. They taught you to hate it because they couldnt have it x
It just goes to show that you can’t see 4c’s curls as well because it’s harder for 4c textures to hold moisture . Once that moisture is in .... the curls and coils come out to play 👌🏼 I know a lot of people think 🤔 that when some people say they have 4c but it doesn’t look like it to everyone else....could it be that they really do and maybe it’s just other characteristics that make it look different.... like the porosity... density.... etc. I mean when you say 4c we are only speaking of the diameter of the curls right or is that wrong.... not a guru
Great video looked lovely, tho I don't think everyone is saying that 4c shampoo ( you wash dishes, and clothes ) and go isn't possible. Its more of an issue that after a few days. You'll end up with tangles that would easily never been seen. If you were to utilize another method of styling. Myself after having spent ALL that time. Just to achieve a shampoo, and go, but then in a few days. Be dealing with massive tangles isn't worth it. I'd rather utilize a style that will stretch my hair for awhile. Now the difference could also be I have tailbone length hair. So this would literally take me all day, all night just to attempt. If it was something I'd be into.
I have 4c hair, and I have to say this is one of the most relatable videos yet. I finally think I can now do a wash and go. I always underestimated my 4c hair I 4c my future😉
It is very m so satisfying to see what 4c can do. 2 hours later...omg WE ALL need just one best friend that is willing to dedicate that time into helping hydrate our hair. Was awesome to watch and know that it will take me 4 hours to do since I will be doing it alone. Thank you😊
omg!!!! This is amazing. I can't believe the amount of definition WITHOUT combs or "products". Had I found this video last year, I might not have shaved my head again. lol...I'm eager to try this but I'll have to wait for it to grow back.
Neki Cakes No I just used their leave in and styler with water. I applied it with my hands. But my hair is now bra strap length this was when I was neck length so I’ll give these two products another try.
Payt_The_Princess oh okay cool, it’s always great to give a product another try specially when the hair is more healthier and you know more about what it likes and doesn’t. Maybe it will or won’t flake up
I always thought that there was nothing I could really do to my 4c hair people would say I had nappy hair and I always wanted my hair to look like 3c and curly but I was very surprised to see this video maybe I’ll try this maybe I just need to have more confidence in my 4c hair and everyone else should do the same no matter if your hairs 4c or type 3 or type 2 or maybe even type 1 always have confidence there’s always gonna be something about ourselves we don’t like but we have to learn to love ourselves and take care of our hair and when you want your hair to be curly do twist outs braid outs train it when you want your hair to look a certain way take care of it train it safely thanks for sharing this video your hair looked stunning! So fascinating how our hair can transform.
4C hair is the BEST shrinkage and all! I hadn't realized how long my hair had gotten due to me always rocking my curls and my shrinkage making me feel at a standstill. But after watching videos of heat damaged curls I'm proud mines snap right back in place
I LOVE how she turned up after the clay was rinsed out...definitely gonna try this
Mary Garrison ❤️❤️I hope your hair had amazing results !
I'm starting to use only conditioner to wash my daughters hair then moisturise when wet. Wish me luck
I feel like I’m watching surgery🤔 imma come back with a notepad and pen we must study lol
"Do YOu Guyz SEe tHis DefINItion?" YAss sis i do i want to try this/.
Guess who’s about to cut off all my straightened hair 🙋🏾♀️👏🏾😍
Jan L sage smh
@@deucdejm what's the problem?

Your Friend's Hair/Curls Came Through BEAUTIFULLY.. It's So Nice To See Best Friends Spending Time Together, Doing Positive Things, And Sending Out Positivity To The Rest Of Us❣️ Great Video, Thank You For Sharing It With Us❣️♥️💕
Thank you love❤❤
Her hair is absolutely gorgeous!!! You did a great job!!!
Jay Smart Thank you!
I need a hair best friend 😭
I make my own flaxseed gel which is the consistency of the kinky curly. My curls POP. For $5 the flaxseeds lasts me 8 months to 1YEAR!

recipe? 👀👀
from before to after what a world of difference moisture does🙌
lateira Nelson Thank you ❤️
Omg. Finally some who knows what they are taking about. Your model was perfect. 4c is the thickest minuets hair. You also picked someone with low moisture and definition. If your formula can work for her hair( which is also mine) then it can work for any hair type. Like I fell in love with this video
This is beautiful! I can buy the products but how much does the patient friend cost??🤷🏾♀️
Wow, that was a deep comment that touched me to my soul.
😂, I was thinking the exact same thing!
It's true 4c hair can be trained, with consistent conditioner ,right product, and constant regiment
trained to be defined?
oops i stole your nose it’s not. Your hair type is determined by DNA. You can’t “train” it 🙄
antoine Holmes that’s definitely not how that works. Your DNA determines hair texture, how a “curly hair routine” ever gonna change that your genes???
oihcam22 facts!
oops i stole your nose maybe you and I should do a vlog and show the real truth. I'm a natural hair caregiver (aka stylist) I'm so tired of ppl lying to the 4 hair community. I want them to understand their hair and the true reality of it.
I have 4C hair and i literally been trying to find videos on 4C hair like mine and this is it right here . I love it
Dots TheBox thank you very much love 💕
4C hair obviously curls, but so many of those curls are dry. This is what it can look like when it's properly hydrated.
Nah this is 4B hair. Even if that shit was properly moisturized it still wound look like this.
@@AnastasiaLUVSU Some people just never learn Huh? 🤠
The clay mask with ACV woooorrrrks! I was so shocked!!! I’ll need to try it with aloe vers next time
Thank you so much for this, my hair looks exactly like that in the first clip when I shampoo it 😭. It just looks and feels dry and my ends are always rough feeling it’s so annoying.
Sounds like you might need a trim as well as this highly moisturising treatment?
EmsLdn I’ve already had a trim, even before then it was the same way. It was actually more than a trim I cut half off my length off.
As well as aloe Vera juice and H2O.
that hair came out popping yassss 😍😍😍
Kinky curly was and always has been the best for me, I love my 4c hair and what it does for it
I have troubles with textureisim and colourisim, as in, I struggle with accepting and loving my dark skin and 4c (I think ) hair.
Her hair is thick and beautiful 😍 that curl definition boiiiiii 😍😍😍
Thank you love xox!
It just goes to show that you can’t see 4c’s curls as well because it’s harder for 4c textures to hold moisture . Once that moisture is in .... the curls and coils come out to play 👌🏼
I know a lot of people think 🤔 that when some people say they have 4c but it doesn’t look like it to everyone else....could it be that they really do and maybe it’s just other characteristics that make it look different.... like the porosity... density.... etc.
I mean when you say 4c we are only speaking of the diameter of the curls right or is that wrong.... not a guru
Right
4c hair is the best hair , I been saying that🤷 I'm sorry.. but not really. Argue with me if you want, call it "discrimination" whatever 🙄
Most people don't care enough to take you seriously. Trust me.
All hair is beautiful
No hair is the best hair
Porche Greene type 4 hair perioddd I got 4a-4b
These comments are so beautiful! You’ve given so many people hope in the comments ❤️❤️
I really appreciate this video this is honestly the first mildly accurate video with my curl pattern & how to deal with it!!! 😩😩❤️❤️
I have 4c hair, and I have to say this is one of the most relatable videos yet. I finally think I can now do a wash and go. I always underestimated my 4c hair
I 4c my future😉
Simone Garnett never get discouraged love! We all have gorgeous hair, as long as it’s healthy and strong we can do anything with our hair❤️
@@NekiCakes 💛💛
This video was much needed because I was telling my friend my 4C hair is sooo dry ... I will be doing this method to my hair thank you 😊
Her hair looks sooo good!
Exactly!!!!! Very useful video. People argue so much on 4c Hair nor bein able to curl up like this💕💕💕💕i will share this
AfroCare Princess Thank you sooo much ❤️
I'mma try this on 3c/4a hair. Thank you! The definition was incredible 👌😍
It is very m so satisfying to see what 4c can do.
2 hours later...omg WE ALL need just one best friend that is willing to dedicate that time into helping hydrate our hair.
Was awesome to watch and know that it will take me 4 hours to do since I will be doing it alone.
Thank you😊
Finally, someone with my hair texture😭😭
omg!!!! This is amazing. I can't believe the amount of definition WITHOUT combs or "products". Had I found this video last year, I might not have shaved my head again. lol...I'm eager to try this but I'll have to wait for it to grow back.
I have 4A hair and kinky curly gave me great definition but man I got white flakes everywhere 😩
Payt_The_Princess really? Did you use the combo or did you pair it with another product?
Neki Cakes No I just used their leave in and styler with water. I applied it with my hands. But my hair is now bra strap length this was when I was neck length so I’ll give these two products another try.
Payt_The_Princess oh okay cool, it’s always great to give a product another try specially when the hair is more healthier and you know more about what it likes and doesn’t. Maybe it will or won’t flake up
@@NekiCakes my hair didn't like the leave in either. And i've bought it several times. I use jane carter spray leave in and I don't get flakes.
Payt_The_Princess try giovannis leave in conditioner
Thank goodness for this video! I finally get to see someone with hair like mine, a true 4C
The curls are poppin!!! Sis with the clay OMG 😍 nice results 🙌
I have 3b hair and i love all hair type and this 4c hair is beautiful. With patience time and dedication you can style your hair however you want.
Love this, unfortunately for me I've got a lot of shrinkage, so no point trying 😭😭😭
Looks absolutely BEAUTIFUL!!
Sonyah Ferris Thank you !
I love this but I just do not have the time or patience this requires 😩. Wish I had a friend willing to come do my hair on wash days lol
Me neither! It’s gorgeous but I seriously don’t have time for that.
I need to try this
I'm gonna start doing this when I grow my hair waist length.
This was a great video! Her hair came out great. It’s so nice to see a technique to showcase thick 4c hair! Thank you!
For once someone who embraced our beautiful coils rather than flatten them out in a silk press. Yesss😁😁
I love that you highlighted Dubaidee4c as she also has videos doing hair makeovers . You did a great job 👏🏾
Thank you,
She's amazing
What an incredible result, I am blown away!
Even very well hydrated my 4C hair doesn t have this definition... and its ok
Its probably not 4c then.
TheAntilope88 when you train your 4c hair it can be my little sister hair just like this and she’s 4c
It's the banana in the treatment. It loosens curls temporarily. If you try it, you may see
No joke, this is the video that started me on my natural hair journey 💛💛
*Your hair looks amazing but I'll bet your 4C hair could do a **_gorgeous_** afro. I think afros that have been cared for well are beautiful. I love them.*
ARE YOU STUPID? neki is 3c.and the chick is 4b.
I absolutely love the fact that you used gloves my natural hair and the friction from my hands causes such unnecessary frizz.
Omg yaaaaaassssss! I wish I could like this a thousand times!!!
Robin Norman thank you love ❤️
Her hair is so healthy and her curl pattern is gorgeous
Wow 😍...I need to try the clay, heard so much good about it.
it absolutely works and I have dry 4C hair
So do I, it even kept the curl after drying... 4c hair is so beautiful!
*That is beautiful! I WISH I had this knowledge of 4C years ago.*
Thank You Love! Trust I've always said the same. But at least you now know ❤never give up
I need this done. My hair is ridiculously dry.
