Just a tip. Use Shea Moisture Curl Enhancing Smoothie and soaking wet hair and then apply the Curl Defining Custard. Lastly, smooth a small amount of Eco Argan oil and sit under the dryer. Thank me later. ☺️

I have 4c hair. This is my hair regimen: I use Obia Naturals Neem & Tea Tree Shampoo Bar. Then, I condition with Shea Moisture Manuka Honey & Yogurt Hydrate+Repair Protein Power Treatment. My coils become curls with Taliah Waajid Curly Curl Cream. The Taliah Waajid doesn't require half as much product as you used in this video. I think you'll be delighted with the result.

I'm just starting my natural hair journey with 4C hair. I used these products for the first time today and LOVE my curls!
I use water and Aloe Vera gel. I Find that it dries without the white spots in the hair. You look great, and your skin is beautiful!

Thank you for this video! I've been struggling to get a defined look for my entire 25 years on this earth. I ran out and got these products and cried uncontrollably at my results. I've always felt like there was something wrong with my natural hair and this just changed the entire game. I also took advice from the comments and added Eco Style Castor Oil and Flaxseed. All of my questions and comments disappeared. Before, there were answers & great advice. Is it because White girl magic showed up & ruined it for all of us? She wasn't on here before ... now SHE is, but my questions & another woman's have been removed. Were all white or mixed inquiries removed because of HER? Yet, I see SHE is still on here. I am sad that one person calling herself white girl magic has ruined it for the rest of us. I have mixed hair & wanted to know what type? Someone said 2c after I described it. OMG as soon as you put the pudding in your hair and started raking i was like THE CURLS!!!!!!!
Two words: Flaxseed. Gel. Solved all my problems. It's got shine, hold, definition, softness (i.e. no crunch). It's crazy inexpensive and I can make it at home.
And no nasty ingredients!
What did I do wrong, I got the crunch.

@@cmlharper There's tons of videos, but basically, boil a cup of water with tablespoon of flaxseeds until it gets thick, strain it w/ a pantyhose or strainer. Let it cool a little, and I add citric acid as a preservative, but you could just tea tree essential oil (about 10 drops) and keep it in the fridge for about three weeks. I have enough hair though that I use it all at once.

We’ve been sleeping on our childhood products. I recently fell in love with the ORS brand olive oil hair lotion it’s so thick and moisturizing its leaves my hair feeling like a cloud and it gives it bounce my mother used to use it on my sisters and I all the time when she’d braid our hair we’d always have these cute spiral curls at the ends and now I know why.
I started using the ORS hair lotion and my hair loves it! ❤️ I wish I had started using it sooner. My hair is so shiny and moisturized.

I put a lot too smh and my hair curls up with water in only so I really don’t need a lot but I be so afraid it’s gonna dry out and frizz up 😂😂😂 I also air dry so I haven’t put heat to my hair in a year.

My go to and I always have a super bomb wash n go is jane carters leave in conditioner, then the curling creme and them to seal the moisture in marrakesh oil hair elixir. My god my hair is sooooooo soft yet has so much hold and definition and no crunch!!! If you haven't already tried this combination you have got to try it!!!!

When I used these products it flaked so much and left my hair feeling super dry. I also have thick 4c hair.

I hope they changed the formula. I used this a few years ago and my hair felt oddly greasy and it flaked horribly no matter what I did. Hair looked beautiful but felt horrible, so I had to stop.
Me too. I took it back to the store because it didn't do anything for me. My hair just felt heavy and oily.
Same hrr had my curls defined but my hair was so flaky n greasy as well I honestly don't like it so I use Shea butter n curl lala which works for me but everyone is different
To get rid of flakes. Apply products in a hot or steamy room. It helps😊 my hair flakes with every gel. No matter if they say no flaking my hair finds a way. This method helped.

Love how it turned out. What helps me with shrinkage is letting gravity do its thing. Picking at the roots does add great volume but can also mess up the curl. It'll naturally fall over time

The Beautiful Textures Rapid Repair deep conditioner is really good. It's the only product in the line that I've used so far but it has a noticeable difference adding softness after one use and it's super moisturizing. It can also be used as a leave in.
