Sodium hydroxide is used as a pH adjuster and a gel activating agent with the ingredient CARBOMER. Carbomer has to be activated to form a gel so a pH adjuster like sodium hydroxide is typically used. It is not something to worry about, its better than using TEA or EDTA

Exactly some people can wash and go so easily, and im just how? My hair dont play with me like that. I recently started trying it. And even with this gel i get a curly fro. So thats how i usually wear it. I guess it’s because I have very stubborn and coarse hair that shrinks a lot. But I love my fros anyways.

Natasha Hamilton I’ve had my locs for 8 years! It takes a lot of patience. It took me about a week. I used a spray bottle with water, a rat tail comb (metal tail) and I used conditioner to soften up the hair. I’d take some out in the morning, go to work, and take some out at night. I had about 120 locs. You can do it!

I like to mix both now n the definition goes crazy but still the soft feel and I gt lots of body n movement so I was excited

Darling I think you need to try a small jar b4 finishing your old wetline to see if it can mix with your hair products. I bought the new wetline at publix for a $1.09. It was a smaller version and I tested it. Apparently it works well with 98% of my hair products. I tried it on my hair and it had great hold.

I think I'm gonna try this girl cause the only part of my hair which can eventually curl with a gel is the back. The top of my hair is just like "Huh ! You think I'm at your service?"
I'm fine to but find that wash and goes make my hair look fuller. Try Olaplex 3 to strengthen your fine strands. If you can, go to a salon to do step 1 and 2. If not just use step 3 and it will strengthen your strands by reconnecting the bonds. It is NOT a protein treatment to make it clear. Shout out to my fine hair ladies!

Xtreme gel works wonders for my natural hair. I used to Eco styling gel…I deep condition my hair, I add my oil and curling cream and apply the gel. I spray my hair with water, section and apply gel. It’s my new favorite gel . ❤

Try the banding method next time. It’s GREAT for my hair.

This was definitely me. Whatever products I mixed it with it flaked. I used it alone and it didn't flake but it was super crunchyyyyy. I banded my hair and it was still crunchy as hell

Just wondering how do you cover your hair when your sleeping? Does it look flat, to where you have to do your hair all over again the next day? I’m asking Bc I’m 4 months post big chop. And I kid you not, I was about to buy a perm tomorrow Bc idk how to style it. So I figured I’d watch a RUclips video to change my mind. And I’m glad I did. Now I’m back on board with natural hair. 👍🏽 I forgot how important it is to be patient.

Miss954 i section my hair into fours and put them in mini ponytails and in the morning put oil on my hand while fluffing out with a pick sometimes i have to spray a little water
I saw another vid and a girl sprayed it with a bit of water and it revived itself.
@@SheIsFearfullyWonderfullyMade wash and condition hair..while wet put leavein then curl activator..last add gel on top...if hair dries spritz with water..needs to be wet to form curls with gel...make sure your products dont have any protein in them or you can get.protein overload overtime.
@@AngelaChristineK nah sis try spraying it with ALOT of water than shaking your head ! A little bit will only frizz it up I’m telling u I know it sounds backwards but trust me ! Spraying a lot of water will be like u had did your wash ago again for the first time I love it .. game changer !
