I received that Cragston TWA Douglas DC-7C for Christmas as a youngster back in 1962. Great toy and I had many years of enjoying its operating features, especially the opening door with the stewardess and the starting sequence of the props. Like many battery operated toys back then, it eventually sat idle for too long and the "D" size batteries leaked ruining the battery compartment. You know, even as a kid I realized that the actual TWA never flew a DC-7C! Thanks for sharing and for recalling happy memories!
