Dude, this is absolutely beyond cool! I can't believe the outstanding level of craftsmanship and I'm not even an R.C. guy. So impressed.
Haha cool 😁👌
Io l’harrier ll plus l’avevo già fatto da stampo in resina nel 1995 😂
and air powered tools!!
I think you'd better wear face mask when working with fiber materials because of the inhalation hazard. Great work!!!
I'm so jealous of carbon work that I can't do, and you're amazing. Congratulations on 10,000 subscribers. I'm looking forward to vertical takeoff
Yeah in some weeks I'll visit Joel and we will go for maiden. It´s so cool that all over the world some crazy guys are working on their VTOL-Projects!
You are the Best !!! ❤👍😍I had doubts at the beginning of the project and you managed to finalize it despite all the difficulties!
A ton of work for just a prototype for testing. I love it!!!!! Amazing work. Wish I had a build space like yours.
Wow! Amazing process and a ton of time and skill involved. Thanks for sharing
You are welcome 🙌
Well there went 15 min of my life... and so worth it !!! Thank you for showing us your skill, loved how clean and meticulous you work👍
You're welcome mate🙌
Omg man this is so sick! I love it! ❤️ I wish I lived by you to learn exactly how you built this.i really want to make one for myself
Be my RUclips neighbor 😁👌
I recommend watching René's SU-XR VTOL build series - they show a lot more detail. So much detail :) :) :)
Looks awesome, can't wait to see it fly!
Absolutely love this journey. Thank you
You´re welcome!
whoah
that thrustvector system alone is a beauty!
Amazing work!! Bravo.
Amazing work chaps. Just amazing.
Fantastic! Thank you for this highly educational video - Very inspiring!
At first I only knew Ramy RC, I've discovered you a few days ago on Instagram. Amazing work!
Outstanding Rene.
The production value is high.
The level of detail is equally high.
Thanks for sharing.
You are welcome Chris 🙌
looks great!!
Man, this is making me real excited to get back to building.
Stunning model.
Do it mate 👍
Guy has some serious skills
That is freaking incredible Rene. Subscribed.
Welcome 🙌
Fantastic work ...you really mean a good workmanship in fabrication in expo...resin men...
Incredible!
What a build.
Wie wiel liebe, lust und geduld. Gut gemacht. 👍
Ein bisschen Spaß war auch dabei 👌
Ha ha 😁👍 nichts ohne es.
Your jobs always perfect Mr. Rene.!
Thx mate 🙌
I am impressed!
Absolutely mind blowing work. I have a very high quality model of airwolf I've built which is happily gift you for a carbon fibre fuselage !!
Impressive and inspirational
Very very nice work! Good luck with this endeavor!!! 👍🍀🍻
Thx mate 🙌
Incredible
Very nice quality layups. Looking forward to the rest of the build. Pro tip, use cellophane wrap after wetting glass over your putty corners to get fast smooth shape. it allows you to work the corner shape without pushing bubbles in or moving the glass. Peel when wet if you must or after kick for smooth finish.
That´s cool mate!
Fantastic
If my cousin was here today he would be very impressed with this seeing he was the designer who built the engine with Ralph Hooper who designed and built the engine for the Harrier.
Oh great stuff man!
very nice!
This is really impressive! I love the quality of the piece coming out of the mold. I have followed your work for some time and I am planning on working on a project very similar to this as a part of a college course this year. May I ask what preparations need to be made to apply the paint before lamination and have it come out so well? Does this require a special kind of paint?
holy scale laminations Batman!
That's crazy.
Good job,👍👍
Hola , desde Argentina!!
La verdad muy bueno !!!!
,👍👍👍👍👍👍
Looks good ze harrier
Wow!
you can merge a fine copper wire into the composite outer shell and bring it inside to an antena, to expand its efficiency
So cool, so the white acrylic paint applied to the inside of the mold bonds to the fibre and releases from the mold? That's amazing, it's an inside out paint job! Do you use any type of releasing agent on the mold before applying the white acrylic?
*Edit, I see your answer to the same question from someone else 👍
Very cool 👍
Thanks!
Be sure to wear air particulate protection when you cut or grind carbon fiber. The dust breaks down small enough to get in your blood stream where it shreds circulatory ways and capillaries. Can kill. Extreme pain
Thank you for this, i was actually beginning work on some carbon fiber and did not think to wear protective gear
Love ur project and the detail u have put into it. I’ve watched a lot of crazy builds of different planes and I’ve always wondered where the original scaled down plans or molds come from. I know the military isn’t giving out detailed plans of full size planes so how do rc guys produce these exact miniatures? I’m sure you’ve seen the turbine version of the sr71 about a decade ago.
A lot of internet research and much more testing and developing 👍
Ive been watching 'lala r/c' building an F 35B using 3D printing tech with much interest. But now a Harrier! And an early model at that. (Looks like a Gr1/AV8A) I lived close to RNAS Yeovilton tne Fleet Air Arms last remaining aerodrome, and I used to love watching the Sea Harriers practicing stol take offs using the ramp.
So an affinity for these old beasties was established. Amyway I just subscribed to make sure I see this beauty take to the air.
Your workplace looks very professional and clean. But another thing which piqued my interest was the Sukhoi Berkut on the wall! Please say you have flown it, or are going to!
Great show, and excellent camera work and editing.
Thank you.
Welcome Malcom, the Su-XR is one my favorites and to see in lots of my other videos 👍
:) Geiles Projekt, mega Aufwand.
nice work as always ,Rene is there release agent before the white paint on the mold ?
Yes wax and pva👍
Frick y'all...remarkable craftsmanship!
NICE !!!!!! waths your ratio : resin /microballon / coton floc / trixo agent please ?
This depends on the actual job👍
Great video. Nice work? Question: why do you start with a layer for glass fibre before the carbon fiber? Why wouldn't you only put down carbon?
Schön dokumentiert und sauber gearbeitet! Aus welcher Gegend bist Du?
Jau danke, Berliner Gegend!
WOW ! 👏👏👏👍
What diameter is the duct ID? Consider ultra thin large bore ring bearings for smooth nozzle movement for your VTOL version. Lilly Bearing from China has cheap large boar ring bearings. I got 316 Stainless Steel 50mm ID 62mm OD 40g for $15 vs $145 ea. from local suppliers. Ease of installation and smooth reliable movement under load might be worth the extra weight. They also come much bigger if you need. 316 stainless steel is lighter than carbon steel and you don't need high RPM so they will likely outlive several models.
Super Video! Sehr cooles Projekt!
Hope you enjoy it and never crash 🙏
Wooow...
Amazing job beautiful video, Question: The thickness of the finished fuselage depends on the weight of the fabrics, the resin and how many overlap?
Yes👍
@@renerosentraeger do you make the molds yourself?
I love your project bro but have been producing mold for that build?
Yes I do. The actual version is completely 3D-Print🛫
👏👏👏👏
When can we order a frame already lol
Will this beautiful aircraft ever end up in production so people can purchase them online.
Yes as stl for self printing 👍
😊😊😊
This is mind blowing .... I just had a quick question.... How much time does it take to design ....1) the plane or model 2) the mold
About 10 years 😁👍
@@renerosentraeger dyamn that's crazy
@@renerosentraeger i am trying something of my own .... 3D printing a plane .... It's tough as hell
Won't all that carbon fibre block your receiver reception?
Why not use prepeg?
Why are you not making 3, 4 or 5 RC AIRPLANES at the same time to maximize your MOLD USAGE ? This might improve your chances of getting an excellent set of products?
Looks like you will be saving the MOLDS for later product sets.
Try to use a jetcat turbine
Didn't you upload this almost a year ago?
René how to get in touch with you.?

Besseres englisch im voice over 👍🏻
I denke he is Deutsch
It is strange that this subsonic crap is still in service, but for some reason they forgot about the supersonic vertical take-off aircraft from the USSR.
So more people can understand him?
The information is awesome.
The editing is terrible. Too much cuts, loops, repetitions... make the vieweing experience not as good as it could be. This effects doesn't add any to the story.
I believe if you give people who can build planes like these more money, they can build the actual scale plane itself.
Sure 😁✌️
You built a Pegasus!?
5 years ago a Russian diy team (with engineering skills) built their own RC from A to Z, including the turbine. ruclips.net/video/dYFYZ-g7fzA/видео.html They did it in a natural way, with less means than yours but the output was incredibly baffling.
Russians are good at sciences, all sciences! a brilliant human resources, highly educated! btw how do you feel now that your US "friends" (foes would be fairer) had sabotaged Nordstream2 for a while? Now those Russian youtubers get NO MONEY from youtube viewers from Russia! It's particularly unfair. Why hadn't any Germans demonstrated in support of those peaceful Russian makers/reviewers?
IMHO that's not important because sooner or later, Germans will realize how WEAK, FEEBLE and OBEDIENT toward the US they behaved, against their own interests. Hope that'll serve them a lesson. Diy is not everything in life! LIFE IS WIDER THAN THAT!
