    Hello Rene, Thank you for sharing the video. Can you share the mixing ratio of the adhesive resin, micro ballon, cotton flakes, and thixotropic agent powder? Did you use the same resin as an adhesive that you used for a layup?

    Masterpiece!! The outer shell of your aircraft is made entirely of carbon fiber. How do you avoid losing the signal from the remote control? Or does the carbon fiber outer shell of the aircraft not affect the signal of the receiver?

    Great video, any reason why you join it with glass tape instead of leaving the untrimmed excess of one side and overlapping the joins ?

      It's easyer, cleaner and you prevent sharp carbon spikes.

    Have you thought about vacuum bagging it ?
    Comparative weight savings are great and you can consolidate , a far better , stiffer substrate

    Why the 1 ply glass, 2 plies carbon? Why not 3 carbon?

    Ich verwende, wenn ich Carbonhälften, auf meinen hottis verklebe ein wenig schwarze Farbe im Harz. Dann hat man nicht so eine weisse Naht.
    Respekt für deine tolle Arbeit!.

    In my opnion, carbon fiber become more improvement in piston engine models than jet models. Because the power weight ratio

      Infusion is getting heavier and needs lot time for preparing. It is more use for multiple layer applications like boats, molds..

    not surprised the carbon fiber is causing problems with the receiver ... it is conductive after all ... so it is just a big faraday cage ... now attach the antennae to the carbon fiber and you turn the body into the pick up point ..

    Hi Rene, so you mentioned issues with rc radio frequency and the carbon fibre, is that with the receiver arial totally within the hull

      The Carbon Fuselage works like a faraday cage, it absorb the TX signal. So the rx antenna had to be outside of it🔧👍

      I don’t know if this is how René did it, but I was thinking of doing this. I’m considering 3D printing copy of the plane, casting the molds in composite around the 3D printed plane, separating them, then using the molds to make a composite plane.

      @@renerosentraeger I was taught the opposite. That hand lay up is heavier than resin infusion, which puts in optimum resin amount.
