As a former cast member, The only area that makes sense to me is the barely used area going into Disney junior area. And me knowing where the cast doors are, I noticed in the concept a little slit where that cast area is. It would also explain the length and how it looks like an actual land than a side area next to galaxy’s edge. Also wouldn’t make sense that it goes there since muppets just got a refurb. Star tours also doesn’t make sense considering they just got new shows.
I’m like 100% sure the monsters and care he is not replacing grand Avenue or star. Especially because and Muppets just got huge updates to them and especially because Disney probably wants to dump any new Star Wars things into Star Wars, will probably be replacing animation Avenue, and then they’ll be the new little mermaid show and I think it comes together
Agreed, there’s no reason to gut star tours since it’s still popular and if anything they could just retheme it. Plus the park needs all the capacity it can get so I’d be counter intuitive to not use the empty Star Wars launch bay and the area behind it
Hope all the new additions to the Disney park bring fun and entertainment to everyone and maybe even bring back some originals that are missed if possible
Drew, what was the general vibe like in the Honda arena in terms of reactions? Other than villains what got the biggest cheers? It seems the show dragged hugely considering you have summarised a 2+ hour show in 10 mins. Of course devastated on the potential Muppetvision closure unless future announcement to move it to Epcot (Imagination Pavillion).🐸 On coaster manufacturers would it be safe to assume vekoma will be busy though the spiderman one trains look premier to me. Very much noticed the lack of dates for half of the announcements.
They should bring over montropolis to DCA as well considering it already has Mike and sully to the rescue and all the land around it isn’t currently being used. I doubt they’d demo all of Hollywood land for avatar since that seems like more of a Disney forward expansion plot project and coco is undoubtedly gonna be in pixar pier (finally that waste of a retheme will get something) Kind or disappointing that animal kingdom isn’t getting more like a night time show or the lion king area cause the gap between amount of rides at each park will grow even more now since Hollywood studios is getting at least one more and magic kingdom is getting minimum of two. Even with encanto, Indiana jones and the carousel the amount of attractions will still be the same as it was there years ago since they’re just replacing the three rides that were in Dinoland for three more rides.

Not exactly competing with Universal Orlando. Epic Universe will be drawing a lot of guests from Walt Disney World and I feel none of these announcements are unique or over the top and Universal will be very busy!
I'm still baffled by CARS in Magic Kingdom, but it is what it is I guess..... Most excited for Tropical Americas and Villains Land. Monsters Inc and Lion King lands are exciting too but I don't love this recent trend of single-attraction, single-IP lands (Avatar land in DCA seems to fall into this category too)... A Coco ride in DCA actually makes a lot of sense
Well, this is actually a lot! To the point that I'll be impressed if even half of it actually happens. The idea of a Monsters, Inc. land at Hollywood Studios was a rumor years ago, but the usual idea was that it was going to be either the Animation Courtyard or Sunset Boulevard areas, and that the big ride might be a re-theme of Rock 'n' Roller Coaster to the monsters' door system. But clearly they wanted a new ride that was more family-friendly. Obviously this isn't a Rock 'n' Roller Coaster re-theme; if they used the buildings they'd be replacing it entirely. But it sounds like there's some disagreement as to where this land is going to be. The idea of a villains land or villains park is another perennial rumor. That sounds like it's still pretty blue-sky at this point.

Does anybody care that Josh D'Amaro didn't bother to mention they were demolishing Frontierland and Rivers? That he conveniently just left that out? And that he flat lied about the Walt animatronic figure being approved by 'the DIsney Family' who were there every step of the way? Because all D'Amaro really had was one great-nephew from Roy's side of the family. Walt's wife and daughter both strongly opposed an AA figure. The whole thing is a disaster.
