@ItsBillyBatson I don't think it matters to them really. They will still be 10 times the property size and much larger capacity even after epic opens. No doubt Epic will be popular but many if not most out of state visitors, will go to Disney as well and more of them will stay at Disney resorts since they have a lot more resorts.
I’m in marching band too, and back when I was a freshman in February, the band and I went to both Universal and Disney for a Disney’s Music Workshop. It was amazing and some of us went on Tron!

I was watching MonstersInc the other day and I said to my friend “it would be so cool if they made the moving door scene into a ride” AND HERE IT IS! I think this area and ride will be amazing for Disney!!

Out of all the announcements, I'm most excited about the Monsters Inc. Land, especially the new roller coaster being built! Considering how popular the franchise is, I'm surprised it wasn't announced sooner, but late is better than never.
Nah Cars does not belong in Magic Kingdom and Zootopia does not belong in the Tree of Life. They just want to keep shoving characters at the expense of proper theming and legacy attractions.
Well you're not getting it because all things Pixar are going away due to the Walt Disney Company being broken up like Standard Oil and having to avoid paying Pixar billions in licensing. Monsters Inc in California is going to be replaced with a different version of The Great Movie Ride.

@@apab0611 Disney won't have a choice. Uncle Sam will take away Pixar along with Marvel and Lucasfilm. It's called California Adventure and is meant to be themed the state of California which it will be again. Pixar Pier goes back to Paradise Pier and that means welcome back California Screamin and Tower of Terror comes back, too. Cars Land will go away in favor of a generic Route 66 land or something else California themed like a San Francisco area. When I take over Disney and make it great again, the park will be either themed to California again or I will turn it back into the Disneyland parking lot.
While Indiana Jones is an iconic franchise, replacing the Dinosaur attraction with an Indiana Jones ride doesn’t align well with Animal Kingdom’s theme. The park is built around celebrating and conserving wildlife, focusing on natural habitats and species. Dinosaurs are a powerful symbol of extinction and serve as a reminder of the kingdom’s message about conservation. An Indiana Jones ride would be more fitting for an adventure-themed park like Hollywood Studios, as it lacks the connection to animals and conservation that makes animal kingdom unique. I’d prefer if Disney kept the Dinosaur ride and re-themed DinoLand USA in a way that strengthens its focus on animals and conservation.
Nice to see Tropical Americas sticking with the theme of the other lands at Animal Kingdom being a fictional town from a content and having it be like an old rustic town that's been here for a long time and I'm most impressed at how they're able to make an Indiana Jones ride at Animal Kingdom make sense for the park with the plot premise of the ride, that's pretty clever and it actually reminds me of the Everest ride at the park, a thrilling ride centered on a mythical creature. Now the only other thing this land needs is characters or some form of reference or homage to the film series Rio.
Can you imagine a Scar animatronic or meet and greet? Perhaps even a Dr. Facilier interactive show! Frontier Land does appear to brush up against the potential villains land, which would mean that it would be perfect for Tiana's Bayou and Facilier to line up!
I can't wait to check out the Monsters, Inc. ride! I always wondered how thrilling it would be to ride through the door vault like Mike, Sulley and Boo did!

If anything should go in the Hollywood back lot at California adventure, it’s Zootopia. Disney confirmed that Zootopia is based on the city of Los Angeles. I know it’s an IP but, it could still keep the theme of California alive. Also, this would not just be a clone from Shanghai. It could be an extension where you have more areas to explore. Clone Zootopia: Better Zoogether but have it in a different building, remove the prison cells that are found in the queue for Zootopia: Hot Pursuit and replace them with something else, build a monorail station inside of the land and finally, add new areas based on Zootopia 2
You'll be waiting forever because it's not happening. Disney is being broken up and losing Pixar under antitrust. You're getting The Great Movie Ride back instead and when the park reverts to Disney MGM Studios, you're getting Munchkinland from The Wizard of Oz.
They should change that big picture area with the Mountain carved as a bear into a ride! (California Adventures Disneyland Park) maybe Grizzly mountain or something? Turn it into something like splash mountain and space mountain!!

If anything should go in the Hollywood back lot at California adventure, it’s Zootopia. Disney confirmed that Zootopia is based on the city of Los Angeles. I know it’s an IP but, it could still keep the theme of California alive. Also, this would not just be a clone from Shanghai. It could be an extension where you have more areas to explore. Clone Zootopia: Better Zoogether but have it in a different building, remove the prison cells that are found in the queue for Zootopia: Hot Pursuit and replace them with something else, build a monorail station inside of the land and finally, add new areas based on Zootopia 2
Judging by the content art, the coco ride basically looks like the grand fiesta tour .

I am PUMPED for that Monsters Inc. land! Monsters Inc. has always been my favorite, I am truly going to be able to let my inner kid out there.
You'll be waiting forever because it's not happening. Disney is being broken up and losing Pixar under antitrust. You're getting The Great Movie Ride back instead and when the park reverts to Disney MGM Studios, you're getting Munchkinland from The Wizard of Oz.
They should change that big picture area with the Mountain carved as a bear into a ride! (California Adventures Disneyland Park) maybe Grizzly mountain or something? Turn it into something like splash mountain and space mountain!!
With people being so postive over Villains and Monster Inc Lands this channel is such a nice reminder that I’m not in the minority
