The coaster looks like it is being built on part of a current parking lot. My guess would be that they leave Muppet Courtyard open until they have the coaster building almost complete. Then they shut down the rest of the area and do the major retheme as the last phase. They are doing the same kind of thing in Dino Land USA. I'm also wondering if they could eventually connect the Star Tours simulators to the Monster's Inc area? It sits right behind Pizza Rizzo. Now that Smuggler's Run exists, Star Tours is not needed and is out of place. Put Mike, Sully, and Boo in the driver's seat. I also hope that they put Muppet Vision 3D in the recently closed Cars Theater and dedicate that entire area to Muppets. And Please - relocate the Miss Piggy fountain back there.

Good to see the Rock N Rollercoaster update, but HOLY GOODNESS I thought filling in the ROA would get people mad, but this is too far and I think fans are not gonna let Disney slide with this tbh

Honestly, this sounds like a good plan. Monstropolis did not need a plot as large as Animation Courtyard. Save that area for a future expansion, and even better IP. While, Rock ‘n Roller Coaster needed a new theme, as the license is about to expire.

The problem with Jurassic Park the ride is that it is SLOW moving boat ride. I've always hated that because when a dino pops out, for a second it's scary, but then immediately it's not scary because you're barely moving and it hasn't attacked or continue to get closer. It just stays in place. But this new monsters attraction with the kuka arm system means it can swing and move very quickly, and when one of these new amazing animatronics are in your face, the vehicle can quickly swing away and really give you that scare of just barely getting away.

Creature from the Black Lagoon....seemingly a water ride that turns into a "water coaster" after the creature has nabbed you off of the boat.....mist, fog, fire....cool

They could use a Mack water coaster for a Creature of the Black Lagoon attraction. With Mack already producing the majority of EU new coasters it makes business sense. Manufacturers usually give discounts the more you buy from them.

Does anybody care that Josh D'Amaro didn't bother to mention they were demolishing Frontierland and Rivers? That he conveniently just left that out? And that he flat lied about the Walt animatronic figure being approved by 'the DIsney Family' who were there every step of the way? Because all D'Amaro really had was one great-nephew from Roy's side of the family. Walt's wife and daughter both strongly opposed an AA figure. The whole thing is a disaster.

I'm still baffled by CARS in Magic Kingdom, but it is what it is I guess..... Most excited for Tropical Americas and Villains Land. Monsters Inc and Lion King lands are exciting too but I don't love this recent trend of single-attraction, single-IP lands (Avatar land in DCA seems to fall into this category too)... A Coco ride in DCA actually makes a lot of sense
