Let’s just say 20+ years of chronic diarrhea. In two days of just beef and eggs if felt a difference. Now I’m a year in. I’ve lost 3 sizes but I’ve healed like crazy. Not going back. Veggies actually caused me inflammation. And the push this crap. Off ketogenic diet forever. People want to criticize what they don’t understand. No explanation needed.

OMG if this is it I will be so happy! Every time I start carnivore I instantly get this feeling of health overcome me and then a few days later a downward spiral in feeling bad. What sucks is its the only way I can lose weight.I recently did 3 weeks at 1200 calories high carb and not one pound dropped which still amazes me to no end! I am just stuck at 175 on a carb based diet.2 months ago though I was at 165,feeling on top of the world and all due to carnivore. But then the ill feelings set in and being an alcoholic I went that route and started drinking 3 to 4 times a week.Alcohol is one thing but then my diet went to hell and I was consuming easy 3k per day of pure junk foods
I always thought this downward spiral was just my body never really getting fat adapted.....this though looks super interesting and I am ordering boron right after this.I suffered from cramps so bad in my life that I present to you my worst cramp experience.I was sitting in a crowded movie theater and suddenly my hamstring cramped up.I jumped up to straighten my leg to reduce the ham string cramp and was feeling embarrassed just from this odd behavior when the opposing quad muscle went into a severe cramp. Now I had nowhere to go as any straightening of my leg to ease the ham string pain now caused my quad to cramp even more.I stood there in crowded movie theater screaming at the top of my lungs but I never let the sound escape!! It was the most painful 30 seconds of my life.Again alcoholic here so the cramps are probably worse from this aspect but still!
My sleep is LOUSY for years and I tried the magnesium. My doctor always says I am anemic etc etc.If boron is the cure I will come back here and french kiss you....for free!! No homo! :)

I live in Queensland and am a carnivore. I had no idea that steak was so expensive, you horrified me. I usually eat lamb and salmon so listening to you talking about this month on steaks was a real eye openener. I will give it a go, but not for the length of time you did it. I couldn't afford it, I'm a pensioner.

I'm a pensioner too. And I am finding I am satiated with one steak a day and some days I don't want to eat at all. I have no sugar cravings, so I'm not spending money on junk food. And I was a junk food addict. I am 20 days in, and for the first time since 2007, I have no more back pain. I find I was eating out of boredom rather than hunger. I just bought some eggs and bacon and am going to incorporate them. I have shed 11 lbs and am able to go 5 hrs instead of 2 hr before I have to urinate. I know people who spend $15 a person at fast food.everday I have $268 I can spend on food. So far I have spent $220 and have plenty left in fridge. I use an air fryer I bought for $7 at the resale shop. Some days, I can't eat a whole steak. I feel so much better, my knee doesn't hurt and I think that I have recovered some from bells palsy that came on 44 years ago. My smile is balancing out to the affected side. Oh, and I am sleeping more than 2 hours at a time. I slept 6 straight hours for the first time in 16 years. My body is healing and I am determined to do whatever I need to keep feeling like this. I made mistake and aye an apple rather let it ho to waste and I won't make that mistake again. Oh I did eat some cheddar cheese about 2 ounces.

Yes it was long and I am going to admit that I fell asleep last night (clearly your voice works as ASMR for me😂) but I continued this morning😊. One of the many things that I was interested in was Calcium as some years ago I was told that I am close to the bottom of what was healthy following a bone density scan. Red meat apparently “leaches” calcium from the bones. Not sure how true that is, bearing all the standard assumptions out there, but it was reassuring to see that you were fine.

I find that thin cut steaks air fry quite well. Are they as good as sous vide or reverse sear? No, but it is SO much simpler and easier and they turn out quite good. Sous vide still remains my favorite way to turn a tougher cut of meat into a tender steak but it does take a bit of planning. My 7 in 1 Foodi pressure cooker has a sous vide function so it is much quicker and easier than setting up my immersion sous vide.

Dr Suresh, any idea whether eating venison would work as well? We have big herds of Red deer here and shooting your food is not only the most sustainable way to eat meat but it also causes the least possible stress to an animal (an instant death from an unexpected and well placed bullet compared to the stress of queuing for hours at an abattoir ) but it also produces much purer meat which can be measured by the respective adrenaline levels in the meat. A clean humane, well placed shot creates very little adrenaline and no pain. A quick cure for cramps is to to squeeze the tendons behind you knee as hard as you can, it interrupts the signal to "keep cramping" the muscles from the brain and instantly releases. Since taking Potassium supplements daily I have never had a single leg cramp at night and I used to suffer terribly.
