Feeling Fine? The Silent Dangers Hiding in Your Body
Oh boy, this is so wrong. Check for some actual science... Unbelievable BS here. 1. Evolution: Anthropology shows, that people ate what they had available. The "caveman ate meat" story is just wrong. Why do you think we can eat almost everything? Why are humans the only species that can live in so many places? Because they are used to eat everything, not only meat. Why can we eat berries, roots, starches, fruits and green leaves? No animal can eat all these. So case number one: We are used to eat everything, not only meat, as stated in the vid. 2. Every scientific study shows, that saturated fats are unhealthier than unsaturated fats, all else equal. Every study shows that people who go low on meat live healthier. 3. Of course is highly processed food a problem. Who ever said it was good for you? This argument goes really nowhere... Has anyone ever seen a official health advice that says: drink a lot of sugar stuff and eat a lot of burgers? No, you haven't 4. The evolution story is in itself flawed: Evolution just cares about you until you have procreated. The stuff killing us today is coronary stuff, strokes etc, stuff that happens later in life. Just because your ancestors ate it, does not mean it would keep you healthy for a long time. By the way: You say you have solid scientific proof. Yet you do not link one study at all. Show me one study that says: meat improves health. You won't find one. I bet you 50 Dollar.
It could be a cerebral spinal fluid leak if you have EDS and POTS. A Stanford professor has done research on it. Also, they found that Corlanor can treat pots effectively.
Just ignore the millions of people that are proof he's wrong.
Boron didn't do anything to my crazy cramps neither drinking lots of water or electrolytes. It happened especially when i was sweating like crazy. What resolved my cramps is quitting all sorts of caffeine intake ❤
Life changing information! Every person should see this!
Hi, how does carnivore diet effect stamina and endurance? I'm an ex-bowel cancer patient, losing ~1/3 of my large intestine (lower), have since struggled with food: intake, output, bloating, extreme gas, cramps and general discomfort. I find that on a carnivore type diet i become regular, and most symptoms fade away. However, due to the enduro mx that I undertake, having large energy stores is a must, what effect will carnivore and the encompassed type fasting have on stamina and endurance? Happy to have a verbal convo; If you watch any of my enduro videos, you will see the type of physical and mental strengths I require and situations I put myself into. Cheers Mike. Also - side note, I am currently listening to your podcasts on the carnivore diet on Spotify.
no need to talk every 5 seconds. would be nice to hear them.
I’ve blamed protein for a long time bc that’s what I was told that caused gout or it was purines with seafood that I’d eat. Exercise and water have helped me a lot! I would eat a cheeseburger and be fine but have meatloaf and about die. The same was true about lasagna. It was never the meat or eggs, but the carbs and the grains. I would eat a bowl of oatmeal (healthier than cheerios or eggs right?) with a little sugar and by 2pm I needed a cane or walker. Meatloaf has oatmeal. Lasagna had carbs with the bad noodles that would trigger an attack. I can actually eat whole grain pasta without a trigger. I’ve just now started looking more into this and I’m trying to move towards carnivore or keto. Also, Captain D’s would trigger my gout every time, however, I’ve ate large amounts of grilled shrimp or fish and was fine. 🤔 I’m convinced it was the breaded carbs and maybe the oil they used! Everything there is breaded so it was carbs x’s a 1,000. We’ve been lied to for years! I’m 43…
Good one.
I've been what I call 'almost carnivore' for at least 3 years, reversed reduced kidney function, hypertension, the need for a knee replacement and the athritis that was part of the need for the surgery, the colpased fracture in my patella according to my surgeon in his own words 'seems to be repairing itself', also massively reduced a chronic sinus problem I've had since I was a kid which had got to the point where within a couple of weeks after getting over the last sinus infection another one would be starting Haven't been on any medication for over 2 years whereas it used to eleven of them, allsorts of other beneficial changes, weight was never a huge problem for me but at 60 years old I'm back to the shame sort of shape was as a keen martial artist in my twenties Aside from the meat, fish & eggs I do have some dairy sourced from local farms including raw milk, eat some vegetables about twice a week, mainly onions, peppers and leafy greens, also what we Brits call chips twice a week, double-fried in beef dripping [tallow] So I would definitely agree that a small amount of carbs alongside eating mostly meat and eggs can definitely work, and it does make it more sustainable, I do about 3 days a week of completely carnivore, also do time-restricted feeding style intermittent fasting where I tend to eat all my food within a 6-8 hour window, one day a week I'll only eat once and every 6-8 weeks I'll do a fast around 36 hours After 5 or 6 years of experimentation that seems to be what works best for me
Got some good tips from her! Thanks!
I think you’ve found the sweet spot! I am carnivore but I do a tiny serving of berries in the morning with breakfast and I dont feel like I’m missing out anymore. I dont miss vegetables at all. I think animal based is good for those with extremely high metabolism who are losing way more weight than they want to. For those of us who gain weight easily I think we need to keep carbs to one serving a day or less.
I appreciate very much this content Suresh! Yet I am confused about one aspect. According to the Chromometer app, macros do indeed indicate carb intake whenever I eat fatty meat. But how can one "bump up" to 30g (or more) a day when only adding a couple mushrooms, or 2 tbsp of peas, or 1/2 a carrot? When punching those macros in, the carb increase is noticeable, but never reaches the suggested 30g-ish amount. It is easy to reach a higher carb count by adding more in the plate, although my portions then look more like an extra 1/2 cup or a full cup (ie: 1 cup of green peas = 16g net carbs). Any hint as to how one can increase the carb intake while relying on tbsp realm of quantities? Or am I perhaps being too rigid? Thanks a million :)
I thought you said in one of your videos that you quit carnivore, which is it you said carnivore took care of the pain in your thumbs and now it’s oxalates
Global warming is a hoax.
Meaning we are really omnivore, not just animal based food eaters. So most channels about lion diet or carnivore are full of crap when they said that everything you need is in the meat. it is dead false!
5 Thomas asked him, “Lord, we do not know where you are going; and how can we know the way?” 6 Jesus assured them, “I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life. No one comes to the Father except through me. John 14 "And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free" John 8:32 repent my brothers and sisters, only Jesus Christ saves.
What about the crazy high levels of cholesterol that worried you in the past
Polypropylene glycol is metabolized as an oxalate…perhaps our treatment of ‘antifreeze’ poisoning is an access point to their removal? The three ‘suffix’ groups for oxalate removal - ‘acetate, propionate, and bytulrate’(sorry I’m not a chemist)… I’m trying 20 ml apple cider vinegar in 8 oz water bid…followed by 300mg calcium citrate….the vinegar ‘apparently’ may loosen the imbedded crystals in the gi tract, and they then bind to the calcium (which prefers the oxalate to the citrate…)…. I’m 76. Every surgery, medical intervention I’ve had has been caused by oxalates! (Except traumas)….Now they want to CUT INTO MY EYES ! No, thanks. My GP just screamed at me on the telephone….”…that (a carnivoire diet) will kill you….! “….so no help there….. I have some strategies….vulvitis is absolutely crazy making….I use icy cold water instead of paper, and a topical anti itch ( since antihistamines deplete acetylcholine-ie.increases senile dementia)….that inflammation seems to worsen urinary incontinence - commercial products seem to worsen inflammation so I’ve made ‘napkins’ from flannel for at home-and replace them when even a bit damp. I’ve been mostly carnivore for 2 years….. but I was a heavy spinach muncher! I appreciate your presentation….thanks…. I recall a toxicology course, that the birth of a baby is one method by which a mom does remove toxic products from her body…..wow - there’s a rabbit hole ! 🇨🇦🙏
....days fasting its mandatory!
Diet will eventually cause most people health problems because the body's main source of fuel is carbs a scientific fact!!!. There are 3 macro nutrients carbs, fat, protein why would you eliminate one of them makes no sense . Without carbs [ bread] with protein [ meat] you will eventually go into Ketosis and a host of health problems
Bottom line on the Randel "Cycle" (IMHO) is when Fats, Sugar, and Insulin are all high too often... the high fat decreases Cellular Sugar Uptake (i.e. Insulin Resistsnce) and the Higher Insulin forces Fat Storage and greatly reduced Fat Lipolysis (low fat utilization). This describes exactly what we see in the world population. Pile on a bunch of Toxins and Lifestyle Changes (Estrogenic Toxins, Blue Light, "Isothermalism", and Acrylamides, etc.) that all degrade Mitochondrial Function & you get a Metabolic Disease Epidemic.... that "Medicine" CAN NEVER FIX.
have you noticed you CAN NOT hold still for one second? You might want to throttle back on the caffeine?
Bro same. I just don’t have to distract myself from misery anymore. I can play video games now in moderation and it doesn’t break my attention span
Great podcast!!!❤❤❤
Thanks for touching on lymphoma. I have a 46 yo nephew starting to suffer from pain due to lymphoma. (non-hodg). I'd therefore appreciate a fuller discussion for better understanding, even better to know if it can be reversed w/ minimal medical treatment.
It took over 16 months for my triglycerides, ldl and blood pressure to normalize. No, we are not going back to high carbs grains, high fructose any sugars or oils. No but no thanks 😢

Since this video was posted I have had my 12 month follow up CAC done. Note - it is early days, and these things take time to heal. A bit of background - I had my first CAC score done in April '23. I was the healthiest I have ever been and been keto from August '20, and carnivore from June '21. I expected a zero CAC result... what my CAC came back as was 322 with a volume of 269mm3. It put me in the 95th%ile for my age group.... This was definitely a significant shock, and I needed to understand better what this meant.. Also note, that without intervention, the CAC is expected to increase year on year by 15-25% and in some cases 50% year on year. This didn't bode well given the cards in hand... I'm going to geek out a bit and get into some science/ engineering/ math to explain how a CAC score actually is actually pulled together.... ____________________________________ The CAC Score is a calculation that considers the volume and density of the calcification, the harder the calcification the more stable and the higher the multiplier on the CAC score. So, for a section of plaque, assuming the volume did not increase (say its 20mm3 in volume) the brightness of the plaque on the scan is measured and given a multiplier based on the brightness (Hounsfield Units). If it is between 130-199, the weighting multiplier is 1, if it is between 200-299 the multiplier is 2, 300-399 the weighting is 3 and above 400 the weighting is 4.. So as the plaque gets more stable and increases in density, then the CAC number will go up even though the plaque size/ volume may not be increasing. This is important to understand as the number on its own doesn't tell the whole story. The other 2 components are the Volume and Mass. Now the mass is a calculated number as they can't really weigh the plaque - it is a function of the volume and density (the density is based on the Hounsfield unit reading). The Volume is measured by summing up the area of the Plaque in each slice of the CT scan for the range of density selected - so summing up all the areas on a 3mm Scan slice for the 4 ranges of Hounsfield unit groupings noted above, then summing up all the slices of the scan to provide a total number. So to put it in a formula: CAC= ((Total Volume of plaque in density range 1) X1) + ((Total Volume of plaque in density range 2) X2) +((Total Volume of plaque in density range 3) X3) +((Total Volume of plaque in density range 4) x 4) Im my opinion, monitoring the Volume of plaque alongside the scoring (and mass if available) is key in understanding where the Calcification is heading. A volume that stays constant, but the score (and mass increases) indicates the plaques may be stabilising. If the volume is increasing, then the plaque is growing. Now, if you are still following on, why does this matter. Understanding what the scores and results tell us helps us to adjust what we do to counteract things. A rising score on its own doesn't tell us much without the Volume data. ____________________________________ Back to the story.... After a bit of research and a lot of reading, along with my carnivore approach I monitored various inflammation markers and applied some of the protocols from the reading I had done. Some supplements (I won't go into here as this isn't the point of the post), improve sleep, reduce Stress, improve community time with friends and family, be mindful, exercise and enjoy life. I had follow ups with my cardiologist and did a follow up CAC in December '23 (~ 8months as I wanted to change a couple of things and needed a reference point). All scans done at the same radiologist and on the same machine. I have just done a 12month follow up CAC (December '24). The results are as follows: April 23 - CAC:322, Volume:269, Mass - not provided Dec 23 - CAC 342, Volume:246, Mass - 57mg Dec 24 - CAC 268, Volume:199 Mass- 47mg As can be seen from the results... the CAC actually increased from April 23 to December 23 but the volume decreased. I put this down to plaque was increasing in density, even though the volume decreased. Notwithstanding, the score increased by 110% annualised. The volume decreased by 12% (annualised). More interestingly, the 12month follow up I have just done has seen a specific reduction in the Score/ Volume and Mass of approx.19-20%. Yes this is a reduction when all the literature and mainstream doctors tell you it will only go up, and at best stabilised. In actual fact, the results suggest a 30-40% better outcome than expected if there was no lifestyle intervention. I post this here to reinforce that the approach is very much a multifactorial root cause journey. You need to look at the inflammation triggers and counteract them. There are a lot of influences that impact our bodies, and we need to own this as individuals. Doctors like Suresh, Paul Mason and others are there to help us understand our journey and advise us, but ultimately they are not accountable for the outcomes. Can we improve our health? absolutely. Will we get to full reversal? who knows but if we do nothing then we can guarantee we won't. Hopefully this gives some of you some hope and motivation to dig into things to get you on track.
I had gout attacks for over a decade and they got worse w/ each passing year. Finally started very strict carnivore 2 years ago. The gout attacks slowly, but surely went away. However, minor flare ups did happen, but my body is so frigging sensitive to sugars that I think what triggered those light attacks was the tiny amount of sugars that come in some packaged bacon or salmon...as well as dairy products. For the last 4 months or so, I've not had any dairy and the only fish I eat are the ones I catch out of the Gulf of Mexico. Zero issues.
I love that hoodie... I can see that this is your own logo on it, but the fit and material looks great! Where did you get that hoodie before doing the logo stamp? Thanks
What about oatmeal as a source of 50g of carbs?
Cancer dangers for men? Prostate?? What do you think Doc? @themeatmedic
I could never get the results I wanted & needed because w/o carbs I had little to no energy. My thinking was slow. Everytime I would abstain from carbs I’d go back to carbs because of depression & low energy. I would gain & my weight set point would increase to the point where I gave up & got up to 348lbs. They say when you give up carbs the weight just falls off. This was completely the total opposite for me. I actually gained weight & became prediabetic from giving up carbs. I’m standing by this message becauase when I had roux y bypass, I consumed carbohydrates every day & lost weight. It’s really unfuriating when everyone in the keto & carnivore community repeats “don’t eat carbs! Don’t eat carbs!” When some people actually need it to be healthy.
I honestly think its case by case. I only have flare ups if i eat red meat back to back days...i dont drink and when i did never a flare up. I also am not a beer drinker liquor only. Red meat does it everytime im down to chicken mostly...i gotta keep researching
inst oatmeal better source of carbs than fruit? Glucose absorbed to bloodstream is slower. And more micronutrients.
This addiction is super boosted when sugar is mixed with fat. I think that low fat diet composed with huge amounts of white sugar would not be as addicting as mixed diet. People are not mainly addicted to sweets like pure sugar candies, coca-cola. They are super addicted to ice cream, sweet chocolate, bars, milk shake, fires with ketchup or mayo etc. Also accelerated glycation and other metabolic damage caused by randle cycke dynamics.
Uric acid can increase
carnivore kinda makes u fast without even trying... after i eat a big rib eye with 4 or 5 eggs...i dont think about food for about 18-24 hours... i have a KETO COFFEE when i get up in the morning.. then wont eat until about 3 or 4 pm.... then dont eat again will about 3 or 4 pm the next day
I tend to agree. Never been addicted to anything myself, but that may be to my being on the carnivore diet for 41 years.
Carnivore diet made me a better Super Smash Bros player.
So Bart Kay is willing to make leaps of faith, but only if it supports his argument. I found Suresh's evidence more convincing.
Vitamin D toxicity...Air toxicity? 😅
The sun may have additional benefits that vitamin D? Are you joking? Humans evolved in the sun. Sun exposure is ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY for human health. Nothing we evolved to do is bad for us...
Thank Suresh ❤
welcome!
I've always wondered where my depression and anxiety issues may have come from and finding this video may have explained it, my mental health spiraled around the time I started playing call of duty 4 mw online and continued whilst I still played online games, some days I spent over 15 hours playing ! I got rid of all my games consoles and my mental health cleared up slightly but ending up buying another xbox 'for the kids'. I'm going to start carnivore in the new year (getting all the Xmas stuff out the way)
Thanks for this fascinating and insightful video on your personal addiction journey. a) I believe that when you balance your hormones with a proper human diet your brain works right so intrusive negative addictive thoughts don't occur. b) My experience on carnivore is that I have zero desire to eat poison (sugars etc). It might also be my INTJ ASD/ADHD that makes me have no cravings. c) I wish you all good health, prosperity and a very merry Xmas.
