Dollar Tree Drying Mats Stitched to Make a Beach Bag Tutorial

- On a recent trip to Dollar Tree I found some cute Dish Drying Mats. This is another cheap, fast, and easy sewing project. I used 2 of the drying mats and a matching dish towel to make an absorbent beach bag. Now--- I haven't tried it so I am not sure how absorbent it really is.
All it took was $3.25 and 30 minutes.

I am so glad you liked it!
Just found you last night when I saw your lemon bag that you made from Dollar Tree placemats and knew that I had to be a follower of yours. Then I saw this video. I'm hooked...lol. Guess I'll have to hunt down these towels and placemats now and crank up the ole sewing machine and make these items for myself and others. Thanks for these great videos!
Adorable! I have hibiscus mats with pineapples. Please tell me what the straps are made from? Do I need to try to find a matching towel? Thank you! I enjoy learning from you!!
Hey there! I made my straps from matching towels but they don't have to be made with towels OR matching towels. You could even use wide ribbon. Thank you for watching! I am so blessed that enjoy my videos!

Insulated bag…imagine it’ll keep your refreshments cool….another idea…a cooler bag!!!Or it could keep a casserole hot.
It should be able to keep it cool or warm for a little bit! Didn't think about that!
A rule about manufacturing tags? Really? Never heard of this rule but who knows eh?
According to the Federal Trade Commission: Federal law requires that most textile and wool products have a label that lists the fiber content, the country of origin, and the identity of the manufacturer or another business responsible for marketing or handling the product.
