I am a recovering DT addict. It has been,0 days since my last trip. I have boxes and boxes of things I've bought. I have a literal store. I 💜💜💜💜 you and your channel!! You are hilarious and adorable and I'm so happy I found your channel! You have so many great ideas and I usually have all the stuff lol I love that you sew sometimes too, because most DT crafters don't. So cute!!
I actually went into town yesterday and neither Hobby Lobby nor Dollar Tree were on my list of stops. Of course I stopped at them. But in my world, that was still a win. 😊
Omgosh I can be having the WORST day then I watch your channel!. Then I am giggling over your joy and enthusiasm and want to go craft!!! Thank you sweetie ❤
You had me at superfun! A cousin makes little bags like the "hey pumpkin." I use them to carry my sewing with a snack while waiting at the doc, or sewing outside at the lakefront.
I’ve only discovered you a couple of weeks ago and I am hooked! You are the happiest and funniest person I have ever “met”. Thank you for making my days. ❤
Excessive?!? No way - your projects & videos give joy - in abundance & in so many ways to so many: gifts to others or yourself, the invaluable learning we receive, the fun of the transformation from materials/supplies into “something pretty” - definitely not excessive! Thank you so much for this!
You are so much fun!! I love your enthusiasm!! I am gonna benge watch all your videos. Your ideas are great! Thank you for being yourself, it makes learning so much fun!!
The zippered pouch made from the pumpkin oven mitt and drying mat is so cute!❤ The tote came out so nice, with the straps done perfectly!❤ Both of these done in the same mats would be a really nice gift. Thank you for sharing your ideas,😊
Thank you for sharing not only your awesome projects, but your wonderfully sunny disposition with us all. You always make my day brighter! Btw, I've thought of another use for your chapstick project. My daughter has asthema, but she's always losing her inhaler! The chapstick project would translate wonderfully into an inhaler case project! Just make it a little bigger I would think? Anyhow thank you again for another great video!
Thank you for your channel. My mom and I did crafts all the time and I stopped after she passed away. And coming across your channel is telling me to get back to it. I love your pretty creations. Mom would love you.
Girl you can definitely unfold bias tape and refold it to fit your project. 😊 I’ve been sewing for over 30 years, I used to make pageant gowns for beauty pageants. Sewing is everything. 🧡
I discovered your channel a few weeks ago and I agree with everyone...I love your personality (you're a lot like me, lol!) I adore your projects and you make them so easy. The tote bag is my favorite! Thank you for all you do!!!
‘I know, love me through it’ ! You’re so much fun to watch! I love how unapologetic you are about how you do things! You’ve got such a great sense of humor….love watching your show.
I love your energy! And these ideas are great. I especially like the shopping bag. What beautiful colors. Can wait to visit the stores in this area - there are at least three in an hour's drive from my home - and see what I can find and recreate them. I am thinking potholders and hotpads for casserole dishes...for a start. I'll be visiting your channel to stay inspired. Now, where did I put my 15 cent packages of bias tape?
I love watching your videos. I learn so much for so little. Thank you greatly for sharing. P.S. I'm gonna try to make some myself and let you know how it went!!
You are so awesome. Been with you for sometime and I have never been disappointed. Love you to the moon and back. I loved the tote.well everything really lol❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
FYI TIP! Did a project with the friction pen and used a heat thing to make it go away & day later it showed up on my project! I had painted it white (seagull for VBS) & there it was showing thru my paint. 😬Love you bless you for ALL you do! Wish I could watch you live! Lol ❤😂
What cute projects that you made!!! I just watched you for the first time and enjoyed watching you very much!!! You have such a happy personality!!! Enjoyed watching you for the first time so much that I have already subscribe to your channel!!! I bet I end up making every single one of these projects, can’t wait to see more of your videos. Thank you very much for your ideas.❤❤❤
I love HeatNBond. I used it to do the hems and edge seams for drapes for my living room and didn't sew one stitch. I used those clippy rings on them to hang them on the rod and they came out great!
I really like the idea of the final project, however I would suggest if you make another you sew the straps in with the bottom. Little better reinforcement and a nicer finish on the bottom. But it was still cute the way you made it.
I agree! For the tote: Pin the straps in place on each drying mat before you sew the bottoms together. Also, these mats are lightweight, and will likely tolerate wear poorly, so I was really happy to see you apply the heat and bond to the black mat. But even then, a running stitch around the outside edge would prolong the useful life of each project.
I like the beach bag idea. I saw people on RUclips making tote bags, lined and unlined. One person even lined the tote with waterproof lining. But I found some summery mats a few weeks ago, and want to make an unlined beach bag for a friend. Really, I used to have a terry cloth beach bag, and it worked fine. This stuff soaks up and holds water better than terry! So no lining, which will allow the bag to dry faster. I also intend to make some padded crossbody bags to protect phones. I think I will use folded cloth or webbing for the straps. Some people have to carry their phones everywhere, and it would be handy to have a crossbody bag for that. I'm glad to see mats in dark, business-looking colors. Adorable as they are, the pumpkins and flowers and all, might not go over as well as black or navy would in a business setting.
You really made my night..!;,beside the fact that the crafts were just awesomely simple,,,your sense of humor had me laughing .ya see, it's been a really rough two weeks( I know,wah-wah,huh!) I stepped in a hole, and,my foot went one way,my leg, went the other. Dr says it's a torn deltoid in my ankle and will take weeks to heal...(ugh) then, my 4 month old puppy, got out,ate something that gave her e-coli, she couldn't be saved....ANYWAY, just wanted to tell you thank you, for making me laugh..it let me know everything will work out for me,,,God has a plan..❤
I Reslly like that yellow mat in the last tote. The mat reminds me of a purse I had years ago. I made a tote bag similar to yours years ago using some old upholstery fabric so my daughter had an overnight bag for sleepovers. That way she didn’t have to use the plastic grocery bags. Thanks for the memory ….hmmm now I need to look for that tote! 😂😂😂. Ruth
Glad you showed us you were using up misc old stuff, like how to make the narrow green bias tape work. Bcs let's face it, we all save up stuff to use "sometime" & need ideas how to do just that! I think I would make my coasters bigger bcs I like big coffee mugs, & that's the fun part of crafting, tweaking it to our own style.
Love all these ideas, thanks for sharing with us! * I use the mats for jewelry designing mats! Keeps the beads from rolling off your surface while working on a project and way better than those mats you can buy specially for that purpose. 🎉

Trimming the corners on the chapstick makes it look like a luggage tag, super cute.
