If you don’t know the difference between “your” and “you’re”, you’re a fucking idiot. Get the fuck off my Facebook wall.

It's crazy, I used to work with a uni grad that wouldn't stop talking about his experiences visiting different countries, he also drove a beat up Volvo that barely started.

I don't see the MDE vibes as been here and gone, but always has been here and MDE dudes tapped into it. I believe it can be tapped into again, maybe its just not the right time for it right now, but eventually.
They really do seem have a very interesting way of observing and parodying the stupid, surreal, and painful aspects of modern America. Our vapid and pretentious education system, our social and political customs, mindless consumerism and conformity; they manage to convey it all so cleverly with subtext, by showing their characters as being products of this kind of environment. Just with some extreme comedic exaggeration of some of these aspects (like how World Peace was intended to be set in a post-apocalyptic nightmare world)
To me, this has a vibe of like some of the weird funny bits you would sometimes see in skateboard videos in the 90s and 00s. Something in a Toy Machine video or something.

And that's what has taken control of the mainstream Western world over the past decade. We're screwed. These people can't design nor run complex systems, they only have the capacity to criticize and destroy them.
