Step 1 to planning a new factory: Make it bigger. BIGGER. Its not gonna fit what you need. 200x200 IS NOT BIG ENOUGH KEEP SLAPPING FOUNDATIONS DOWN.
Sidenote: I set my coal generators to 99.9% on a 100% efficient line (If we ignore the water extractors, those are being under-utilized atm) just to purposely have coal very slowly backup on the line. I like the sense of security a fully stocked conveyor belt offers at least when it comes to power supply
Sider noter: I think I'm gonna make a new world in 1.0 with a focus on using as little wattage as possible. Have everything run at 10% efficiency
that idea with the coal is smart! i would rather have coal issues than water issues. hate that stuff 😅
@@TheValhallanPickle Yep my first playthrough for a good long while I had a bad coal line that wasn't getting enough coal that would cause intermittent outages it was so awful cuz that was right around the time I was exploring the Swamp so I'd be way out in the middle of nowhere getting jumped by spiders when it'd happen.
You probably are doing the piping wrong along with coal inputs as well, if you did everything right there shouldn't need to be underclocking which messes with Wattage equivalency like decimals. Coal power is also way too easy compared to the other power sources that just get more advanced.
@@xenodestroyer4803 No the lines are setup fine. There is no NEED to underclock, the only reason I have them at 99.9% output is for redundancy. Lets say you accidentally dismantle part of the line or god forbid you take 1 coal off the line by accident...On a 100% efficient line with no redundancy; that accident requires a manual fix. With redundancy, it'll self correct.

I’ll be making a new one for 1.0 since there are a few extra recipe changes. I’ll 100% share it when I’ve worked out which new recipes are best. Good idea 👍
