I have a mid 6 figure job for whoever wrote the "hack" that hit that hammer on marti instead of cherno. Not only did they make it intuitively target who they want to, they also got it to avoid unwanted targets. Code like that is worth so much in any automation
Have you never played faf? You can always hit someone next to someone else especially if they are at varying degrees of distance from you like that guy. The fact that it hit the marti is not really concerning to me, but I've played for 11 years so I'm pretty used to the interactions and how to aim
it realistically wouldnt be difficult to develop a code that had a target selector attached so you could adjust mid fight no?

the only sure fire way to tell if someone is aimlocking is that their camera turns while they're stunned.
I really hope high rez gets better at organising tournaments in s2. Everything they organise from worlds to this content creator cup is full of bad scheduling, bad advertising and atrocious formats.

I was infuriated by a scrim partner who I thought was cheating via lag toggles, it took a LOT of effort to be objective over if they had shit connection or if they were cheating. After multiple vod reviews I was forced to admit there wasn't enough evidence that it was cheating.
Catching cheaters effectively is NOT easy in the sense that anyone with no training can do it. You need some good background to do it effectively even in a game where it is as easy to spot as Smite. (In chess for example it is a multi million dollar project to catch cheaters effectively)

i aint gonna lie to u, while i did prematurely accuse the dude of cheating, i mainly posted the actual clips bc to many people kept asking about them and no one seemed to have the clips. I genuinely do not care enough to delete anything or really respond on twitter bc it is just twitter and i am not someone who cares to argue. It is just my opinion and it didnt seem right to me and im okay with being wrong. hope u have a nice day bro

I feel like this was similar to the personalised situation didnt particularly look like he was cheating but was banned, maybe there was more evidence than the clip some people compiled since it was never reverted and never publicly adressed.

I would love to see if Malachi right after that clip said anything about his game or lag or something. I mean seriously it could have been twitch skipping frames combined with fast flicks. Malachi been around a long time, teamed with one of my friends who said he was awesome to play with, and yea shit does not even look like cheats he's not locking anyone 😂
He did apparently, said his mouse was having problems in the actual moment, which the people who made the clips originally would have heard and deliberately not included I'm certain

Regardless of if he was cheating or not, why would he have that software on his PC in the first place? If you're trying to get into comp play probably shouldn't have it at all.

I met skepso (venom numbers) on console a few years ago when I first started playing smite. He would join on his PC in our new player low level MMR customs and just spaz out and talk mad shi and kill customs. Fast forward too a few months ago and I join an old friends custom lobby and he’s there and let me tell you the kid hasn’t changed a bit not even his game play. Man convinced his team they couldn’t win cause I was a fed 8-2 Cthulhu leaving solo lane at level 5 and ulting him in midlane, they surrendered at 16.

I've considered making some videos around the cheating situation for a while, but I'm unsure if it will lead to more people knowing about the availability of cheats, and so more cheaters. Hard balance to find, I'll have a think about how I could make it work without causing more trouble than preventing.
I like you Haydaddy. You're always good for smite. Appreciate you sharing some perspective, think the clips you showed weren't very helpful relative to the cheating clip in question. Not taking a stance one way or the other based on only having seen it here but that's pretty far from a disarming argument that is was NOT cheating. Wasnt a lot to gather from that. Might help to actually prep some decent aimbot clips, rather than us watching the cupid randomly, and it may help to show more than 7-10 seconds of the "cheater" in question, since you are going for the monetized 10 minute mark what's the harm in adding useful bits?
Videos are monetised at 8 minutes! But yeah, could have been more prepped, but as I said I did it on my lunch break. I did try to see if I could record more of the game, but the match ID wasn't available anywhere, so all I had was what was posted on twitter - maybe I could have found more on Twitch though.

I agree it's definitely not cheating, but "cheats usually look different" is a poor argument. Just because other cheats were developed to work differently (without the crazy flickering) doesn't mean there can't be a cheat that works like that.
Yeah, I don't disagree, largely irrelevant what other cheats look like to be fair, just pointing it out so that people maybe have a better idea of what to look for when people are cheating in less super obvious ways.

I felt it looked like cheating too. I wasn't confident to say it definitely was but it felt like it to me and I even talked with Malachi about it on twitter, he was obviously defensive and pretty chill and I really hope it isn't cheating for real. Definitely thought it was, but I'm okay being wrong.
