Apex is reaching the point in its life cycle were most the people who play it only play this game which means most are really good. Which is making the game feel extremely difficult and that turns off most new players and the people who are playing it get better and better and has caused a slow in new or causal player growth.
@@Cyns_Murd3r.C0rpse_BREAK yea there isnt any shadow mmr in the game or any typs of sbmm like in most its just at random who your up against and usually you get a few of the bad players and like 3 or four master/pred 3 stacks that have been playing since day one every single day of there life and dont know anything else
Ibe been playing since release, I have a 3k badge on wraith, most kills ive had in a match was 17 I believe, and highest damage was 3,131. That was also in season 5. I didnt stop playing this game till right before the end of catalysts season. I was I would say slightly better than average. I had a positive K/D every season, finished every battlepass within a week of release, I played this game all the time, every day, and I was really good. But then we started getting cheaters. And im not talking about wall hacks. Mods for controllers to make them better, pc players on controller so they can have scripts on console lobbies. I tried playing the game recently, and every lobby was super difficult. After not touching the game for several months, each game had numerous preds. I'm not sure if its sbmm turned to the max or that theres only good players left, but it feels like a fight for my actual life to get wins.
After 10 million ALGS qualifier pub lobbies, I finally got 4k on Caustic and Loba. I got it after I took a break from Apex for a while and stopped trying so hard.
I've recently came back to Apex this year in January and I couldnt agree more, the game was always incredibly sweaty but the casual matchmaking in this game just leads to you getting wiled out if you dont know tactics that a casual player would not. It's a shame though cus this is genuinely such a fun game since falling off R6S but despite all the rage I still love and enjoy this game, from the movement to the abilities.
Just pick a 30-30 up or long bow and just farm teams I’ve gotten most of my 4k badges that way it’s easier in ranked lobbies to farm since pubs is so sweaty
@@Youremomshouse442 that’s no fun if you get it the easy way, it’s suppose to be an achievement not you being a rat and snipping at people from medium to long range all game
Even tho i stopped played Apex long time ago (around Saison 1 I think, when Warzone came out) i just saw you popped in my RUclips home screen and i must say : Your good mood is such nice to see, specially in those competitive mods where people tend to be... unfunny or simply not kind, hope you had a blast with your friend grinding this badge (I think I have it only with Pathfinder ahaha) ! Happy new year man !
I didn't play Apex for more or less the last two to three months of 2023 and only recently tried to start playing it again but it immediately reminded me of why I stopped playing in the first place. I basically never touch the BR mode anymore because all my friends stopped playing it and solo queue with randoms is pain when they want to hotdrop straight out the ship and W key every gunshot noise and footstep that they hear. If I do play BR now, I only do ranked while Control is in the rotation for mixtape mode, because braindead teammates that only want to go for kills make Control an extremely frustrating experience since they never play point. And then Ranked is also ridiculous although it's usually better than pubs since my teammates are less likely to throw their lives away. I barely touched the game for the last 3 months and my best rank I ever got was Plat several seasons ago when I'd still bother to put the time into grinding ranked and yet whatever this weird hidden MMR system is, it seems to think I belong in Master/Pred lobbies despite currently being Bronze II since I don't play the mode much. The game as a whole has become a painful experience for anyone that isn't at least at diamond level skill and it's sad that it's just not possible for a more casual gamer to have fun on Apex anymore. I don't want to have to play like I'm trying to win ALGS in order to have any sort of success in this game, I just want to be able to have fun again.
When this game first came out I played it on my PS4 and got the 4k badge very early on. I stopped playing entirely and recently redownloaded it on PC. Bro.. ain’t no way I’m getting the 4k badge any time soon lmfao.
I saw this and just screamed “yeah. And it really sucks!!!! I can’t play a game of normal, none ranked game, and are facing the SWEATIEST players I’ve ever seen. It gets aggravating after a while. Can barely win a game let alone get 4k
It doesn't help that they don't clarify that you HAVE to do it in classic modes. I got a 25-kill 4.5k damage and I was so excited for the badges, but I was in the Buster sword ltm
S1 player here. 4k damage early in the game was extremely easy cause nobody would push and just stay back so racking up damage was easy. I can get to 3k in these new lobbies easy but a 4k seems impossible
The casual playerbase, as big as it may be, is slowly declining. whether it be from them quiting the game or no longer being considered "casual." there is still a vast majority of casuals though, its just that it slightly shifts over time just like most games. this however also means that lobbies will die much quicker because instead of just 2-3 "good" players per match, its more like 8-10, meaning that the overall distribution of kills will be thinner making badges like 4k/20 harder
I remember the early days of this game and I sucked at it. When Watson got released I realised that my Aggressive Wraith main was working but in a sense of fighting retreating, usually the opponents would chase me for the kill. Watson was my first Defensive main and I loved her because of the fact I felt like I could control the any close area on the map. She was my first and only character to ever achieve 4k, even my Wraith main who I had 400 wins (early stages of her) only got me about 3.7k. I haven’t played Apex Legends since the release (I don’t know his name) of that Asian guy? I was planning on coming back but after watching about 15 videos on today standards of the game even the content creators seem like they don’t enjoy this game. Looks too sweaty for me even tho I got better at the game my absence for the last 4-5 years will show. Although love Titanfall 2 and still play that today.
my friends who i used to play apex with all stopped playing it at all, they wont even mentioned it since it gotten too sweaty for us to even play anymore, we've used to play apex on the daily back when it first came out, it's kinda sad on how apex ended up now with a ton of sweats in the game thinking the trio que is a scrim lobby or new tictok short that'll make them famous, or even script users thinking they're skilled now by automating inputs that's hard to do. it sucks and i can't really say that its fun to even think about apex anymore, luckly BR's arnt the only game i enjoy so i can play other games but it's just still sad that if i ever want to play apex, i'll only be playing it by myself.
I took a 2 year long break from the game in which I was a fairly decent concel player. Came back recently because of the new update, and switched to pc. Honestly the game feels more balanced now, even as someone learning new controls, I’m still having fun and doing decent in fights. Plus the solo que has been very nice to me, and keeps matching people if similar skill. I just got to plat 2, ya’ll wish me luck going to diamond.

I did 3500 damage last night with relative ease. It was my first 3k damage badge, and i could easily see how I could have gotten another 500 damage for a 4k. It's all about how much damage you get off the drop. Dropped with 2 other teams and left estates with 1400 damage with 12 squads left. I picked up a bowcheck and had 2800 rather quickly. Usually at this point I play too conservative and end up dying all pissed off. Instead i just played aggressive and racked up another 700 damage. If you can leave your drop spot with 1k or higher, 3k is not hard. And if you can get to 3k, and teams play conservatively, 4k isnt much further.
I came back to the game recently and got my first 4K badge on pathfinder. The 20 kill badge seems impossible tho, with how sweaty the game is. almost every pub match I’m in I get with apex predators while I only have 300 hours in the game lol, pretty hard to compete with players like that
I just noticed two things in general. A big move towards controller on PC which means that most people will beam you, even those with bad mechanics/gamesense. This is especially noticeable in higher tier lobbies where I'll get aped by controller players because they'll get the aimbot at close range. The other part is that the matchmaking is brutal for solo players. I've solo'd to Master multiple times but my teammates are generally not great and I tend to go up against stacks. Even in duos it's not really great. It legit feels like I have to always compete at 200% in this game no matter what.
I’ve been playing since Season 7 at the height of CoViD. I have 8k kills with bang, 7 with caustic, and 3 with bloodhound. I’ve gotten 18 kills highest kill game, with 3,987 damage. But recently I got 3, 4ks with caustic and 2 with Bangalore. Thirst… thirst…. THIRST! Adds up so much damage. Even downed people from other squads adds up. God bless and much love to all!! Solo Q this season has been tough, but got to the Barney rank! 😂
At this point of the game everyone is just simply better at the game and shooters in general, nobody we fight is just gonna be some new player that hasn’t played a single shooter in their life, they will always have some shooter experience. A small fix to this would be to essentially throw a monkey wrench into the mix, Conduit was a pretty good wave in the meta allowing people to get back into fights quickly, but of course it’s not enough to make everyone just immediately not accustomed to the new meta. To make the game feel easier it would require massive amounts of change to the game to make the normal game sense unviable, something such as a new map, new movement tech, a new character that can prevent bullet fire, or something highly unorthodox. Whatever the case Apex will probably only get more difficult the longer it stays the same, and no match making changes can fix that unless you want actual new players to feel the main majority of our wrath.
So lame idea (hopefully not) but it's a challenge. Challenge name: Materia hunter. You play as the yuffie skin for Valkyrie and you have to fill up your inventory full of materia. Bonus points for putting down the "I'm taking this" holospray. (You don't have to because it comes with her cringy voice line when putting down holosprays)
I’ve been playing on and off since launch and I’ve only ever gotten 1 4K damage badge (plus another 4K game in Three Strikes). I’m not a bad player by any stretch of the imagination, but getting another badge just seems so out of reach when matchmaking is pitting me against Pred players (I think I had even ended up in a lobby with TSM ImperialHal)
I've got like 2000 hours in apex (which is like 88 days, not sure how many hours that is in-game though). I've been playing since season 1, but I've been on and off so much that my battle pass level is always less than 5. I've got about 400 wins in total between all characters. It makes no sense to me why I keep getting matched with people who have 4k and 20 bomb badges, or even masters and pred players. I'm not making excuses for being bad at the game, but seeing them when I hop online after work is kinda demoralizing. How does the game even think I'm remotely close to their skill level to put ne in the same lobby with these monsters? I know the SBMM has some type of "Put good players with bad players on the same team so its balanced" thing going on but i honestly feel like thats not the case. Especially with the teammates i get.
i basically feel the same way, except that i only somewhat recently started the game. when i finally got into like 1 or 2 seasons ago i had mostly master and diamonds as enemies while being bronze. getting to silver felt like the hardest thing ive ever done in the game. and teammates not even close to as good as the enemies
When I got my first 4k, I had only 2.2 by the last team. I’d poke and back up, but the enemy wouldn’t heal much. My teammates rushed and downed two, but I let them bleed out so I could farm the last one. Thirsted the downed and had ~750 left. The team was pretty bad, and I had to try not to one clip the remaining wattson, or I’d lose. Also had to be careful, cuz I had no heals. Kept relocating until she popped her ult. Then I moved inside, got shields from the ult and ended up winning the game with 4139😅 this took a while to type
We're at the point where you almost have to run through a good amount of teams in a ranked lobby to get a 4k. Pubs lobbies are 5 teams left end of ring one now
To me it feels completly different, lately its been way easier and more fun since a long time. Also 4ks are really easy right now, play repeater sit in good positions and just shoot people. Also drag out every fight that seems like theres not gonna be a third party and there you go 4k
Yeah i started Apex back up after not playing for about 6 months. Level 24 account and getting absolutely BEAMED at range with an R9 is not the start i was thinking i was going to have. Its like playing preds every single match now and im self admittedly maybe Gold level in skill
The game is probably near impossible to get the 4K or 20 bomb badge impossible unless you get 1. Extremely lucky off rip 2. Are much better than the entire lobby (and I mean much better) and 3. Help from friends. Note: this really only applies to the average player. The game is in a state that people actually understand the game and how best to play it. You can actually farm 4K but it requires long paced games and using ranged weapons poking for most of your damage. And most importantly finishing most of your downs. I actually don’t really respect the badges anymore because most of them are either abusing the system with low leveled accounts, or are old badges from like year one where it was so much easier to get the badges if you knew what to do.
I started playing a year and a half ago and just got my first 4k on conduit plus been within 50 on my main cat. It’s so hard since the recent mmr updates and it seems like those easy lobbies you used to be able to get on occasion are gone now.
i played apex when it first came out for around 2 seasons and now i watch ur vids and say dam i forgot dis game fun and play for a season and quit cos everyone is so good ive been playing on and off since season 0 and my highest is 2k!!!!!!
I've never gotten a 4k badge on trios or duos I've only gotten it on Plat lobbies I feel like people die too fast but I was so mad when i played one game on my friends account and got a 20 kill badge in trios with loba I only got 3.5k dmg though
My best since launch is 3.9k and 14 kills. These days I cant even get close to 2k. What used to be a fun evening of games with friends is now a 3 hour session of relentless humiliation and frustration. The S17 MM changes have slowly made everyone in our Discord quit. I played the last two season for two weeks each and I have no hype for S20.
Apex is by far the hardest BR haha. I always feel bad for new players man like it must be so demoralizing. Also I watch Faze Gent almost daily and he regularly gets 4ks. Haha but he's like top 5 roller.
I started playing back in season 11 but took a huge break from the game cause i wasnt into it as much (rocket league grind). But after picking apex back up in season 17 i literally havent been able to stop playing the game. Ive got 785 hours on apex and i havent really had many complaints about the skill gap? Ive just kinda been coping the entire time and although im still not exactly great at the game i feel like i cant stop playing ! I just wanna keep up the progress
To be fair match making is incredibly broken. When 3 strikes first came out and the only people playing pubs were bots a 4k and 20 bomb were possible every single game.
Just started playing apex Although I play on 60 fps , and lag a lot on BR lobbies, I managed to go and entire week without studying for exams and play the game just to unlock some cosmetics in the game The games are hard Trying to complete a quest of landign 3 finishers with Seer took a while cause of the hard games and no one letting me finish

So like every good battle Royale?
also caused because of the current ranked system being so dogshit so instead of playing ranked the good players are 3 stacking pubs and pub stomping

I came back to the game recently and got my first 4K badge on pathfinder. The 20 kill badge seems impossible tho, with how sweaty the game is. almost every pub match I’m in I get with apex predators while I only have 300 hours in the game lol, pretty hard to compete with players like that
Video Idea: Game and control settings are randomized and u have to try and get a win with them.
interesting idea! how would i randomize it?
Oh gosh I didn't really think about that tbh. I'll look for ideas
You should just chose each others binds 😂 @kandyrew
@@overdosed51 that would be to easy as a challenge tho
@@kandyrew let the comments decide your settings. Dangerous, but i can already see how much ill enjoy the difficulty
I recently got my 4k on Pathy but it didnt count in the new event
Let's just say I've been trying since 2021 and it hasn't happened (so deemed impossible)
I got 3800 back in 2019 and have never seen such numbers ever since
it seems like everyone BUT ME has the 4k badge, teamwork!, and 20 kill badge :/
I hate to feel like if you don’t nuke the whole lobby like a pro you have to farm damage from every fight you’re in.
Pubs lobbies are 5 teams left end of ring one now
Ballistic is a great damage grinder
2:47 pay respect polish people for jan the third
To me it feels completly different, lately its been way easier and more fun since a long time. Also 4ks are really easy right now, play repeater sit in good positions and just shoot people. Also drag out every fight that seems like theres not gonna be a third party and there you go 4k
Yeah i started Apex back up after not playing for about 6 months. Level 24 account and getting absolutely BEAMED at range with an R9 is not the start i was thinking i was going to have. Its like playing preds every single match now and im self admittedly maybe Gold level in skill
‘IT OPENS IN’!😂😂
The game is probably near impossible to get the 4K or 20 bomb badge impossible unless you get 1.
5 years. I'm playing since season 0 and I got my very first 4k days ago.
Booms almost as pink as his sweater 😂❤
The first time I was close to a 4k she died to zone and I had exactly 3999 damage ❤
RIP sorry about that XD
im glad its just me having a hard time playing it. ima day one player and took break for two seasons and i feel so bad on pc i hate it
I started playing a year and a half ago and just got my first 4k on conduit plus been within 50 on my main cat. It’s so hard since the recent mmr updates and it seems like those easy lobbies you used to be able to get on occasion are gone now.
All this before GTA 6 is wild
YES HE UPLOADED my favorite part of the day🎉
Everyone dies before the first circle even closes too, already half the squads are gone when you leave where you dropped
i played apex when it first came out for around 2 seasons and now i watch ur vids and say dam i forgot dis game fun and play for a season and quit cos everyone is so good ive been playing on and off since season 0 and my highest is 2k!!!!!!
I've never gotten a 4k badge on trios or duos I've only gotten it on Plat lobbies I feel like people die too fast but I was so mad when i played one game on my friends account and got a 20 kill badge in trios with loba I only got 3.5k dmg though
OMG that ending 😅
just got back into the game love your vids
awesome vid as always
2.5k on almost all characters but not even 1 3k
as a mnk player i just feel so sad playing this game nowadays, i just can’t compete with people up close anymore
My best since launch is 3.9k and 14 kills. These days I cant even get close to 2k. What used to be a fun evening of games with friends is now a 3 hour session of relentless humiliation and frustration. The S17 MM changes have slowly made everyone in our Discord quit. I played the last two season for two weeks each and I have no hype for S20.
lock in lil bro
Lmao this is the best thing I've seen in ages
Apex is by far the hardest BR haha. I always feel bad for new players man like it must be so demoralizing. Also I watch Faze Gent almost daily and he regularly gets 4ks. Haha but he's like top 5 roller.
That wattson skin is amasing O_o
Please refrain from using “milk” as a verb ~ Cisco
This Is a great challenge cos oh my goodness it’s been hard
Charged sentinel with 2-4 scope, after 5 matches you should have got one honestly
4ks are getting easier and easier
3 years later have 4ks on rev, valk, loba, wraith and no 20 bomb its a sad sad time
To be fair match making is incredibly broken. When 3 strikes first came out and the only people playing pubs were bots a 4k and 20 bomb were possible every single game.
3.5 is the new 4k lol
love the content keep it up and youl get to 1m in no time👍
I would love to get a game with you I never got a 4K once
YOU GOT COOKED LMAO
4ks are possible, 20 bombs are another story
Just started playing apex
Although I play on 60 fps , and lag a lot on BR lobbies,
I managed to go and entire week without studying for exams and play the game just to unlock some cosmetics in the game
The games are hard
Trying to complete a quest of landign 3 finishers with Seer took a while cause of the hard games and no one letting me finish
i love the content man, but i wont lie when i say the game is going to die soon. Season 20 is its last season to redeem itself.
I liked this video.
trios babyyyy
Well, I do play Apex since the beginning of season 2, and yeah... but I don't really play every day
Bros dropping a 4K, but I can’t even drop a 2K
On wraith
YES A NORMAL PLAYER!!!!!!!!!!!!

ngl Kandyrew really sounds like KarQ (overwatch streamer)
when this event is over apex will be playable again
