If you pick a movement legend its still more than possible to get epic armor before most people do, just running around taking the evo harvesters or doing the other things to get evo upgrades like looting bins and whatever, i think if you play pathfinder scan all carepacks, use the scan enemies thing (from upgrading blue perk) you can do it pretty much as fast as people who fight like twice or three times a game. Especially if you find the evo upgrade in the carepack to get red evo after just getting purple.

As someone who only plays titan fall 2 and the finals this shit is crazy and fire
The finals and titanfall 2 are some of the best games I’ve played

I'll drive a ford when I feel like relaxing and playing it cool like apex, and if I wanna feel the wind in my face and smoke crack I'll play Titanfall.
People need to stop with the gatekeeping and be a gamer who just likes games for what they offer and not hate them on what they lack
7:57 tapstrafing is still in the game. the recent "removal" was respawn disableling the ability to chain .cfg files. which made it inpossible to make a set button do actions automatically for you. making the only option left for tapstrafing quickly stacking lurches. which cant be done on controller trough its inputs working a bit different. so now its usualy done with a mouse scroll wheel.
edit: and the one from the article you showed even says that that was unintentional, also respawn showed a few tapstrafes in trailers

That's too OP. If they did that it should be in a limited mode and make every character their most OP version. I think that would be fun
Mirage decoys invert controls, prevent abilities, sliding, sprinting and ADS for 10 seconds. Bam. Mirage is the best in the game.

I knew it switching mains from Pathfinder to mirage for three years would be beneficial for me
Mirage has always been my favorite despite people saying he sucks. :)
I made a new account because I switched to Playstation but once I unlock mirage again it's over for everyone

You guys talk about buffing mirage but imagine being a crypto main. All they do is nerf him even tho he's shit
mirage was the first legend i ever bought and i will always come back to him. From his vanishing act ultimate to seeing him get buffed every time, even reworked a couple of times, my boy has grown a lot.

For someone that hasn't played Apex since season 11, this season was such a good season to come back to the game
The 30 second cool down Plus tac refresh is INSANE. Big Ws and as a Newcastle main the heal bin buffs, a stronger shield AND the slow heal after rez is CRAZY fun. They do be cookin 🧑🏾🍳.

as an Ash main, greedy snare is actually really busted. being able to just throw it on the ground and stop people from pushing an area is very strong.

I love that you write the effects of each upgrade on the screen. It saves so much time since you don’t have to explain each one, but it also lets those who haven’t memorized every single perk by hard know what you’re talking about. Great video.
As an Ash main, it kinda sucks that my first upgrade choices suck but this new update is so fun and has brought me back into the game

This is definitely my favourite apex season! As a mid player who wasn’t played too much, but enough to reach lvl 100 and the new modes have been so fun! Also the free legends is absolutely amazing!!! 😊
one thing with rampart: the blue shield abilities are stronger than you think because the ammo thing pares SO well with the amped cover boost because you have SO much to shoot with and SO fast reloads so you dont stop shooting at all if you are behind cover. the other upgrade is also pretty strong because you can holster sheila even if it is at 50% ammunition and you get these 50% as ult charge, so you only need to charge the other 50% and combine THAT with this perk and you can pretty much always use sheila for like 50% of the ammo and keep the rest for emergencies
This was the season that got me back to apex :) amazing job

such a quick good review of all the changes! i definitely want to play apex this season if i can find the time
WAIT WITH THE WATTSON ABILITY!!!!! because one thing that is not said in the explanation of the two-pylon-ability is, that these pylons only have half the shield regeneration capacity, so you need 2 of them just to get the same affect like you have one normal pylon, which i think is actually a nerf to her kit
Tbh I was skeptical of the new system at first but after playing i realized how good this overall was

Yo Macro, Did you know that Ash in mobile had 2 Phase Breach(Shadow Step)
Phase Breach, can be reactivated within 7 seconds of its first use, but the ability's distance is halved.
Meaning to say she got 2 Phase Breach in the Mobile ver. 👍😄

Apex finally won me back after pushing me away in S17+ I've been solo queueing Straight shot and having a great time. I feel like my time is not being wasted and the matchmaking has actually been varied, not just super sweat humiliation game after game.
Caustic health regeneration in gas is awesome. I feel like it does not get much health, but too much might be broken.
Finally got back into apex this season and it’s been a blast!

As a Gibby main myself, having a smaller bubble is actually a buff most of the time, and with the cooldown reduced it's what I've been picking

As a mirage main, I’m really happy with it will say I stop picking the health perk because every time I pick it, I always scream let me res them and no one ever does so I stop picking it but I will say it is so easy to bamboozle someone and getting my ultimate even quicker is so clutch
Give ash a passive that lets her use her sword as a much faster and more powerful alternative to punching

Funny you mention about the drone following you as an UPGRADE, when in Apex mobile this was already included as part of his ability...

one thing that i dont understand is: why do they hate crypto? like MAN what are these perks? a cooldown for an ability that you only need if the ability gets destroyed and a SMALL cooldown for an okay-ish ultimate at the blue armor level and one improvement for the abilities ranges and a useless ability that you can get by investing ONE SECOND LONGER by pinging the legends banners...
what i want to say is that there are so many good abilities for crypto-perks like:
blue level:
1 the drone can be redeployed with just pinging a position at a wall or something (quality of life for him)
2 the drone gets three times its original health (not op but enemies will need to invest more time into destroying it)
purple level:
1 the drone pings enemies that are within 20 or 30 meters when you throw it (not op because if the enemy is that close you probably already know his overall position, but it is a nice buff to have something like a weak bloodhound ability on crypto)
2 the ultimate DOES NOT SLOW HIS OWN TEAM DOWN!!!! (that one makes SO much sense because he is a HACKER that should be able to control what his drone does like why is he using an emp anyway? like MAN just hack into the enemy shields and damage them)
and i know these abilities are not perfect but his actual perks are just not that useful sometimes

i love pathfinders and mirages but the seeing the aura of grenades is so Bad but on the bright side fuse mains love this
This seriously might be the season that brings me back again. I've been playing off and on since season 1 but haven't played at all in almost a year because it felt so stale with too much sweat and RNG. I know the insane sweat is still gonna be there and I'm gonna get rocked almost every game for a bit but all these changes just seem more fun in my opinion.
The matchmaking feels way better this season as well, the fights feel so much more fair

As a rampart main on controller the Sheila buffs are crazy, making it easier to catch people of guard behind doors or in the open makes her ult so great. The faster reloads is great for the non sheila enjoyers, but at that point why even play Rampart then? Love the way that she can be played with multiple builds though wish that was possible for all legends but some abilities are just way stronger than other like you also mention.

Ngl, as a Maggie player, I often pick the auto reload on shotguns, having a faster movement speed while also guaranting a reloaded shotgun for me works best.

I played season 0 when I was 9 soo 20 seasons is crazy
Hey I think you made a mistake on mirages level 3 upgrades they say the same thing as the level 2 upgrades
One idea to add to the system is having another 2 per legend and the player being able t swap them out or smth like that
