I play the Battle Pass, so different Legends, different guns, depending what the daily and weekly challenges require. Does not leave much time to have a main, if you only have around an hour to play each day.
No matter how hard I try to play other legends, I just keep going back to Newcastle eventually. I’d say other than Bang he is hands down the most well rounded legend in the game. I usually am finding myself playing the support role but fragging with him is so fun. A lot of ppl don’t know how to properly “bubble fight”. Slapping that shield down and mowing down a team with ok or mastiff is so satisfying. He’s not perfect by any means but he doesn’t get enough recognition with how versatile he really is, and I’m cool with that. Nothing better than going off with an underrated legend.
That’s how I feel about Conduit, back when the game first came out I was a Lifeline main, had a good Horizon/Newcastle faze but Conduit imo is borderline overpowered sometimes.

I agree 100%! I’ve been working on getting 100 kills with a legend then moving on to another. I start with the “new” (to me) legend to get warmed up, my first half or so of games…. Then move into my Main for the last half of games I play in a session. I’ve gotten better with my Main by learning what the other legends want to do to my Main. All the while getting done friendly matchmaking when you’re using a “new” (to you) legend.
I dont think i ever played anyone because of my play style i always chose someone who i could vibe with as a character/personality wise might sound a bit redundant. In my eyes if you don't like the character no matter how good they are you will never be able to make them your main

Yeah, I mained him season 0-2 when he was horrible and barely started playing him again this season, so much fun. I always use his decoy the same as you and his ultimate is the best assault/escape
been maining ballistic, i feel like he’s helpful in ranked. able to give his teammates confidence in pushing since they have unlimited ammo. his sling is super good and the whistler is so fun. if you can punish yourself for not many movement options then i feel he’s a good choice imo
Honestly just main blood hound or lifeline no one is gonna flame you too hard while you’re wall hacking or healing them, as someone who isn’t the best aimer just use common sense to get wins.

I been playing ash more with the buffs she got. But her portal needs to go farther. I love escaping a 1v1 with her ult and arc snaring them when they follow me and beat them. 😂
Well now i understand why im so good with revenant lol im not a shooter game kinda guy but ive always understood how to get a flank on ppl plus his jump has so many uses like pushing, repositioning, getting to a scouting position to see whats going on in nearby areas, and catching enemies off guard in buildings

I joined Apex back during the revenant rework last year, and I’m still not sure who I main. I swap between quite a few legends- Bangalore, Alter, Maggie, Gibby, Newcastle, Caustic, Conduit, and sometimes Vantage.
Get 1k kills on a legend and learn to play another one. 1k gives you time to understand them but its not too many kills where you dont get bored of the legend. My main legends: 4k kills on wraith( I regret it) 2k on horizion(horizon is very fun) 1.5k on seer(hard to play but fun) 1.5k on octane( most enjoyable legend in the game) 1k on ballistic( gets boring but underrated imo) 1k on newcastle( NEWCASTLE IS SO FUN WHEN YOU GET GOOD AS HIM TRUST) I am currently learning bloodhound.
I’m a rampart main but I really enjoy trying new legends when they drop. Alter is a ton of fun but the revenant rework has made him more fun and matches up with his lore better
Currently I’m mailing Loba as she’s a bit of everything. She has movement with her tactical and looting with your ult which both can come in really clutch during those near death moments. She also can open extended bins which I really like.
I picked Wattson because I like her personality, and trapping people in electric fences seemed like a fun time. Afrer taking the time to learn how to play her, it turns out I was right.
Bloodhound main here- immediately called to me looking at them the first time I played. Then I find out what I can do with them; I get even more excited. Turns out it’s just my natural flow. I can be aggressive, I can get intel for all of us, and it overall just feels right. However, I’m going to unlock fuse next since I just got a new Xbox because I am the grenade master. No matter who I’m playing I’m always loading the battlefield or room with grenades and my friends have wondered why I’m not fuse. Sadly I can’t scan, but hopefully it works out 🤷♂️ otherwise, I guess I’ll wait another 20 levels and try someone new (thinking rampart, seer, or valk)
I fully understand playing every legend isn't necessarily the best idea but that's how I play any game I want to be the most adaptable and it's something I've worked on getting good at so yeah
I’ve mained fuse got 4000 kills then mained Maggie then bang and then bloodhound got a minimum of 1000kills on them all recently started playing crypto but got a little bored then I realized I’ve never ever tried playing a skirmisher so yesterday I started giving wraith a good grind and it’s gave me so much more enjoyment whitin the game
Thanks I now know who to pick to help my game play , I then went and tried her out in firing range and when I get 6,600 more legend tokens I’m going to pick Watson thanks for helping me decide , I had no idea before 😂
I’ve been legend swapping for quite a bit but found my place with Mad Maggie ( love shotguns and the riot drill cuz I use breach in Val ) Sadly I get dogged on cuz she isn’t the Meta of apex atm
Ive made sure ive played 100 games on every legend, and i was about 600 games behind starting this seasom due to a long break. I do like learning every legend tho.
Newcastle is hands down the most versatile legend. I can reset my team, push and win 1v1s, and control an area. Honestly his ability to push is cracked. That mobile shield gives you the extremely safe advantage when pushing. Harder to utilize when controlling honestly, but still very useful.
I main ash and I play her offensive and defensive, I sometimes throw my snare at a door or corner to stop enemies from pushing, but also I play her very offensively by using a Peacekeeper and snare combo really works well for me
im having trouble, i am thinking about octane or revenant, i normally lose fights bcuz i am new, in a fight i push and run when im low, idk who is more for me, for my advice octane is for pushing and revenant is for fighting, sneaking and running, any ideas who to choose?
My playing style is more tactically aggressive, team play. I also pay a lot of attention to skins and heirloom. I know you shouldn't pay so much attention to them, but it's important to me. The legend should of course be fun. At the moment I'm playing a lot of loba, octane, wraith. But I absolutely can't decide. Could you help me? Either one of the three mentioned or someone else?
If you like team paly then Loba and Wriath are fantastic. I personally like to use Seer for teamplay. Unlike the other recons, his method of detecting other players can be activated at any moment l, without a cooldown, and his tactical silences enemies, which is great when they try to heal
I call my playstyle Adaptive Aggressor This playstyle blends high aggression with adaptability and situational awareness. I frequently engage in fights and thrive in the thick of the action. My main is Wraith, I have almost 7,000 kills with her, and I'm already fed up with her. I'm trying every other legend, each one is pathetic. Octane is sometimes good, but I'm sick of him too. I hope the new legend coming out in season 23 will be what I'm looking for. God, how I hate this game, but I still can't stop playing it hahaha
Same man I started season 15 and mained wraith most of the time but she is so boring for me now but idk what else to play. I get bored of all the legends pretty fast
Thank you so much for this video!!! I've been playing support heroes for years and recently picked up Alter. Haven't seen success on her yet - I think the playstyle is too different from what I'm used to. This vid makes me want to go back to Newcastle 😊
I feel alter is very difficult to play well.. that’s why you don’t see a lot of players playing her.. But she is nice to have on the team if someone uses her right. I think what I like about alter the best is her passive
Solo q to plat as ash . Super underrated imo she can rotate the whole team with utility and assault perks . My main used to be path and wraith as back up but my k/d and damage out put instantly rose after beginning to main her
Wattson is the character you want to play if you want to punish an uncoordinated push, support team with shields, and defend them from enemy abilities. But I see many Wattsons just not use their abilities at all, so maybe I'm not tapping into her true potential lol
Catalyst is op. She’s, in opinion, still the top of the top. She basically has 2 tacs and can lock down the building better than any other legend. Also, she’s not useless in the open either. Her ult is perfect rotation and her real tac spikes can ve used as a knock off grenade at times. If you throw her spikes right, it can push people out of there cover. Op legend. No doubt. Edit: how could I forget her new upgrade, if a door gets completely destroyed, she can completely rebuild it now when blocking the door off. It’s not longer a weak web thing. It’s the whole door. OP LEGEND
I have a question Do you know any legends that are good For beginners who are trying to learn the game and trying to get better with aiming and Legends , that will help you win more fights Like I am having trouble with aiming and hitting my shots
Yeah, played 150 hours with him. But recently I've actually faced an issue where you don't actually need your third gun. Cause ultimate recharges fast enough to use in every fight, u mostly use one gun. I think he would be op if his ult was used on all weapons but he didn't have the third gun
I decided to main bloodhound because I’m a warzone player mainly now and I know have intel on enemy positions are really helpful in fights so I chose bloodhound and he is an amazing legend too ❤God bless ❤
My question is what should I do if I have more then one play-stile for example sometimes I want to rush in and go crazy doing as much damage as I can while sometimes I want to be tactical and plan out a strategy and take them down I usually play pathfinder and that’s all I ever play as but I also suck at him
I think one thing the video doesn’t mention that they simply did not include is picking a character based off of your teammates. Whether you are playing with people you know or solo quing. I’ve been using loba lately not because she’s my favorite nor do I think I’m particularly good at her, but because I solo queue in ranked and I can never trust my teammates. Plus I can bring them all back if I’m carrying/leading the team. It sucks but that’s how it is. Picking a strategy character playing with randoms who don’t respect or listen to you defeats the purpose of using particular characters.
Hey Tim, wondering if you could help me pick a main legend, my play style is very aggressive but i want to pick smarter fights to take to enable to live to endgame who do you think I should use? Thanks!
i played back in season 1 and mained wraith. played it off and on since then and am getting back into the game. i like characters with high utility and movement that act as an anchor, but still have the opportunity to 1v1 well and secure kills. loba and catalyst come to mind for me, but is there anyone else you’d specifically recommend?
I’ve always struggled on who I wanted to main since launch my two squad mates main lifeline and Newcastle and I’m still trying to find my place in the squad I have about 25k overall kills I’m the kind of person that if I’m not playing one single character my overall skill massively deteriorates and really bums me out
@@MrMightyninja if ur teammates r mailing heavy support legends id definitely go for a fragger like fuse or mad maggie so you can be aggressive towards teams whilst having that support behind you
i like a legend who will be able to know where the enemy is but is able to be a really hard hitter and pusher (with a lil bit of movement) who should i use I use bloodhound and octane rn but they arent going so good for me rn
Yo hello! Im just going to be completely honest and say that i carry my team 9/10 games no matter who im playing with. Im more of a solo aggresive player, who should i play do you think?
Rn im maining horizon. When i started apex i was terrified bc it was my first br, so controller legends were an obvious choice. But now ive been wanting to be aggressive and take more fights. I love movement both horizontal and vertical, i like to have some way to be aggressive, and i like some sort of defense/way to escape. But even now im unsure if horizon was the right call. Her lift is great but its a lengthy cooldown and enemys can use it too so not much of an escape. Even with the higher air mobility you can still take alot of damage if they have good aim. And her ult only really shines if you have grenades which with my poor inventory management i only ever carry a few
Honestly have no clue who to main, I don’t have the best aim in the world but do enjoy playing apex, I kinda have a defensive play style but would like a get out of jail card just incase I get sneaked up on and jumped on… any recommendations on legend to try?
Rampart'a minigun ite just amurder machine if you can spin it up. Newcastle can leap to the sun. Caustic can 1v3 in an alarming amount of scenarios from gas alone. Take your pick, all the legends have mguffins, revenant can be a good one for a defensive playstyle like that, pop ult and fuck right off.

Maybe an Idea for a video, 3 tier lists: one ranking the passivs, one the tacticals and one the ultimates.
I needed this video I’ve been playing this game since season three and just be playing everyone😂😭
What’s the Wattson skin? I’ve seen it twice now and really want to know what to look out for in the shop! Thanks!
Love these videos…. Been maining Ballistic. Just love the character
My question is what should I do if I have more then one play-stile for example sometimes I want to rush in and go crazy doing as much damage as I can while sometimes I want to be tactical and plan out a strategy and take them down I usually play pathfinder and that’s all I ever play as but I also suck at him
Id say try bloodhound, the intel gathering is there with the tactical and the ult is great for being a fragger
Let's go! Glad to see you're back!
Hope you enjoy
I like the Dripto might have to check him out😅
Started playing season 1, I chose Wraith as a main and still main her, even though I love using Revenant and Horizon.
*watches this video*
Me seeing Ash's title in-game as Incisive Instigator: That's enough for me.
I mean hey, i start fights.
Thanks!
Thanks for the help bro!
i played back in season 1 and mained wraith. played it off and on since then and am getting back into the game. i like characters with high utility and movement that act as an anchor, but still have the opportunity to 1v1 well and secure kills. loba and catalyst come to mind for me, but is there anyone else you’d specifically recommend?
Cool video but I usually loot where I drop and by the time I find my 4th p2020 in the same building there are 4 squads left...
I like octane fuse rev castle mirage but don’t know which to play
I’ve always struggled on who I wanted to main since launch my two squad mates main lifeline and Newcastle and I’m still trying to find my place in the squad I have about 25k overall kills I’m the kind of person that if I’m not playing one single character my overall skill massively deteriorates and really bums me out
@@MrMightyninja if ur teammates r mailing heavy support legends id definitely go for a fragger like fuse or mad maggie so you can be aggressive towards teams whilst having that support behind you
Do you know anywhere i can ask about what legend i should main? I havent got enough playtime to know what im good at 😅
6:36 not yet :\
I main Conduit, but who’s your main I’m interested to know? Also your videos are so helpful and interesting
Crazy how vantage has changed so much since this video
should i main caustic or wattson?
i like a legend who will be able to know where the enemy is but is able to be a really hard hitter and pusher (with a lil bit of movement) who should i use
I use bloodhound and octane rn but they arent going so good for me rn
Well now I'm confused do i take maggie or fuse?
Ive always mained wattson and lifeline and ive never had an issue so ima just stick with it
I’m tying Gibraltar out now i usually main pathfinder and octane
i've played since season 3, randomly picked crypto and stuck w him, i can't play any other character too well lmao
I Main octane, pathfinder, conduit, and ballistic. Other mentions horizon and lifeline
Yo hello! Im just going to be completely honest and say that i carry my team 9/10 games no matter who im playing with. Im more of a solo aggresive player, who should i play do you think?
I need a self sufficient legend that doesnt rely on their team in the slightest
Probably the movement category. Horizon, Path, Revenant. These legends all have more outplay capabilities
@@TimProVisionBet thanks for the reply love the vids!
I main alter wraith and horizon but I just enjoy your videos
What legends you recommend for a balance play style but not great aim😅
Probably any of the support. Maybe Loba as she has loot perks + movement.
this helped me a lot thanks
Happy to help
After they nerfed caustic where no one fears his gas. I now play Mirage. Now I'm about trickery and mischief.
Funny thing is I main mirage because everyone keeps saying he’s one of the weaker legends, and I just enjoy proving people wrong
Went from a terrible Ballistic main to a decent Rampart main, thanks!
Started my seer journy few days ago. Lets see how it goes
I main octane I don’t no why I watched this but still helpful
I main Seer but i want to try out new characters
