Thank You!!! For bringing this B8.5 allroad back to life, Eli.
holy moly that timing chain was about to yeet itself off the block
Ahhh the one I’ve been waiting for!!!
Looking solid
My B8.5 was 6.7, somehow it survived long enough 😂
Since u replaced the chains u could sell the engine for more if u don't need it for anything else after the swap
And it will sell fast because everyone blows these engines up
That’s part of my reasoning!! Glad someone else thinks the same 💪🏻
Hey Eli, I'm excited to see the progress. Also, are you putting a stick shift in this allroad?
Everytime I detail the interior I just use exterior detail spray for all the door jams✅
How do you check the degree of the cam phasers for timing chain replacement?
Huh. So my chain was changed on my VR6, after the KW remained -5 degrees. I know that the limit is -8 for my engine, but still was it supposed to be on 0 after change? And I've recently checked the timings and everything is right.
Definitely drive better when clean lol
What codes do you have left? Have you fixed the low fuel pressure?
Not many codes left! It hasn’t thrown that one since I cleared it
Looking at getting a 2015-2016 allroad to replace my '09 A6 Avant with busted motor. What year is yours?
2013!
My son’s failed at 140k
300ish in parts??? from FCP or??? I need THAT deal before i press checkout lol
FCP euro but we just did chain, lower timing cover, and an oil change haha. Probably should do timing guides too
