This is the only thing I would consider to replace my 6mt Alltrack. Some more beans would be nice. Even with a bigger turbo the 1.8 is still a 1.8
If my 2023 A4 all road had the S5 motor it would be the perfect car

Congrats man very happy to see the build. As far as the clutch, I have a stage 3 jhm clutch on my B8 S4, you’ll get use to it and it’ll take the power no problem.
I have the JHM 3R in my B5, this is about 10x heavier haha makes the B5 feel like a toy

Also, if you want to find a less expensive (but used) axle check Force 5 and talk with Chris.
I've replaced a few in allroad because I off-road it and have torn too many boots so I would just buy an cv axle assembly from Force 5 for a quick swap.
They have lots of different Audi axles.
A6 Allroad here with the 3.0T, would love to have a 6 speed though. Well done.

You should get an MMI interface to add Apple Carplay to the factory screen. I've got an Andream one for mine and it's great - wireless apple car play that integrates with all of the infotainment and steering wheel controls. Just get in, drive off, and it connects and launches on its own

This gives me hope for doing mine when the time comes….. buuuuut like he said in the last video…. dAZA swap the world! Idk how much more difficult that would be over the 3.0 supercharged. I’d love to see the new 2.9 turbo in there. Same v6 so it might be easier than the 5cyl

Matt I have seen you doing multiple swaps already, how have you managed to swap the 2g mmi systems to 3g+ mmi, I’m currently buying parts but I don’t have a clear path yet, my 2g H cd changer B/O. Apparently is not good to be using any of this parts for the retrofit. I looks like I have to get harness, controller, amp, etc. Have you done this before ?

I thought those oil pressure things you’d installed under the PCV would minimize startup rattle ?
Sounded like 2-3 seconds. Is that just because it’s one of the first starts this motor has had in a while or it was like that before.

I’m not 100% sure what that noise was, but can tell you I have zero chain rattle now haha
