🎉 Thank you for this test 👏 and this audi has torsen 100% 4x4 all time!

Are you guys serious? Where you ride, any front-wheel drive will pass on good winter tires.🤣🤣🤣

Which gear do you use while driving uphill in such conditions mostly? Do you have ESC turned off?

All older 6-cylinder straight line (engine to gearbox) Quattros are torsen diff. only the newer quattro ultra) are haldex.

Thanks for the info. So this has torsen diff? In the sequence when I was wondering what kind of diff it has , it seemed to work like a haldex 🤔

@@DusterCoolTravels it’s definitely torsen. Only the older 4cylinder with transversely mounted engines like the TT were haldex. But torsen needs torque to send power to the other axle, so if it slips you need to apply power, letting wheels spin slowly will not let it work properly. A couple of years ago there were comparisons between bmw x3 and q5 on rollers and the q5 got stuck on the rollers only because they didnt apply power (on purpose, they wanted to prove that xdive is better, which it isnt 😅) Haldex Senses any slip even with less power applied but it can‘t distribute the Power as well as torsen and it’s not allways a real awd and the maximum it can spread the power is 50:50 not more. Torsen quattro can do 20:80 and 30:70 depending on needs and all mechanical and it’s allways all wheel drive. But you need to apply power and stay on, then it will bite through almost anything

@@DusterCoolTravels i think the problem in that szene in your video is that the right front wheel is in the air. Quattro can distribute to front and back axle but on the axles themselves the diffs are open diffs and you cant lock them. The newer models simulate the locking with the esp and brakes but its not the same as a locked diff. only real offroders like defender or g model and some others can lock the open diffs. best try would be esp off and over the bump with speed.

Bafta

Audi a clear winner. Duster has a really poor 4wd system. This video proves that the Duster had to drive in audis tracks to be able to get up a little hill with barely any snow.
Subaru is still the best normal car for snow conditions!

Duster has absolutely nothing Romanian... apart from the name of the brand because otherwise it was bought by Renault 🇨🇵It's French quality... all the components are from Renault and made in France. So Romanian no.. French YES
