You guys should add a scuba gear to the goblin to avoid him from drowning. It would be too funny that he's hiding from a shark or something in there, leading his own battle for dear life. Anyway great work it's such a fun serie
Make sure you make the newly added chains look like theyre "floating/moving" during the lowered weight underwater in the fight and add some awesome waves to really animate the battle! Love this series!
Im absolutely terrified…large resin pours are SO finicky and can turn out SO disastrous, and this might be the most expensive diorama being buried under resin of all time
Awesome that Vince was involved in this! Although the reveal of his piece was a little short maybe, with just you guys looking at it and slotting it in place. Would have been nice to see it displayed on it's own.
I'm sure you guys have, but I'd definitely double check the weight limit of that table because that resin pour is going to be HEAVY. Can't wait to see how this all turns out :)
Bit late for that, the guy who made the gargant diorama had to mould the resin upside down into wave shapes. Then flip it so the flat surface is actually the bottom on the model.
Maybe they will pour single waves in molds and glue them on with more resin, the rest would be made with effect paste and UV-Resin. That’s how I would do it at least
Squidmar what a cool project, I have a suggestion for the melted bullet shot cavities, maybe some residual heating effect? Like this some of the shots just got punted into that armor and its still hot? Might not need to do it on all of them, but I bet it would be cool on at least a couple!
Please, when this project is finally finished we need a minimum 15 minute montage of JUST wide, detail and glamour shots to truly appreciate this build
Wow, I love how the titans are coming together. It looks amazing. I am worried about the resin pour and have my fingers crossed. I am sure you guys are experimenting off line on how best to do it. I work with resign pouring as a hobby and have a couple of suggestions. I do not know who they would work with your location and the resin you are using, but wanted to share. First, I would coat everything that will be underwater in UV resin layers. This can help to preserve the paint and give everything a protective coating. It will also fill in any holes so resign does not seep out or into the titans bodies. (Resin seeping into the bodies could cause them to melt or get weird bubbles/fogging around the titan. Cover everything with a least a couple of thin coats. (Test this out as some resin does not mix together well and the UV resin might react negatively with the resin you are pouring with). Second, the faster the resin sets the hotter it is and the more bubbles can get trapped. Temperature has a lot to do with this so do the pour in an area where you can cool everything down if need be. 66 degree AC can be way better than 85 degree ambient temperature. (See your resins specs) Lastly, Don’t test the depth of the resin pour. I would always err on pouring less than recommended so you are not pushing it and make sure to mix your resin well. When you think it is done setting give it an extra couple of hours (day) before you pour again, as the top could have finished curing while the inside is still going. This can cause heat issues if you pour another layer too soon. It should be cool to the touch.
1:40 - Oh NOOoo.. There is a corridor at the back of the Titan's Head leading to the main body! And not just some pipes and cables (of course there are, but not in its middle part!).
When a titan steps on the ocean floor It will bring up a bunch of cloudy debris and mud... and a titan falling will create a lot of waves and turbulence. Excited to see what you do with the water...
I would be concerned about the resin melting and the warlords getting distorted when you pour the clear resin. The temperatures large amounts of curing resin can pump out can reach high values. That aside, looking forward to the end results. Looks stunning already!
I think they mentioned in earlier video they were gonna do the pour in small layers to prevent that being an issue. Like they did on the manta? Diorama
excellent job so far loving the way the diorama is shaping up . please remember to set the chains with super glue so as to look sunken in the water or perhaps caught in the tide and motion of the fight. I'm having this terrible mental image of the chains floating up through the resin somehow and breaking the immersion. much love keep up the good work
Please give the goblin a little retro-Astro helmet to protect him and give him oxygen down there. It’d be cute, protect your beautiful paint work, it’d be funny and make him just a tad bit more believable. Just a glass bubble around his head or something
You neeeeed to 3D scan this with photogrammetry before it’s too late after the resin pour. Would be so cool to be able to navigate all the detail on a screen (and it would sort of save it just in case the resin pour didn’t work out)
I absolutely adore this channel and this series! Just a little bit of constructive criticism, I’d love to see you guys use or invest in a slider or gimbal, as sometimes the handheld reveal shots that are then warp stabilized look a little jarring and it’s sometimes difficult to see the minis. Again, speaking as someone who absolutely adores the channel and everything you guys do!
Here's hoping when you pour the resin you pay attention to your resin's max pour depth and weight, last time I saw creators make stuff with resin they all poured too much resin and had disasters (oh wait that group included you hahah)
the only thing i love more than there must be quite gifted and talented artists employed by the Imperium doing those stunning "murals" on their titans, is that Chaos also actually employ them. That surrounded by demons and chaos there's a guy cranking out murals on armour. That always makes me chuckle. So is it willingly or did they mount an operation to go kidnap one of the Imperium's guys and there's a chaos dude cracking the whip on him if he doesnt work hard enough?
You should 3d-scan the diorama so that people could admire it in full from all across the word. Perhaps before the resin pour, if that resin messes with a scan.
Great video, and Vince's paint jo just pops, bring in the resin, hopefully you guys learnt from the mistakes table top time did with theirs once you left Australia.
It would've been way easier make the battle damage before all the proces of painting, but with all what you guys were battleling for was worth it to see at this point. Awesome project, I wish i could be as incredibley talented as you guys, but u will keep practic everything that I learned from you two and the Warhammer content creators
Been following since the very beginning, and I can't wait to see the final product. The color scheme and theme of both Titans is just phenomenal. On a side note, do you guys have a playlist for the music used in these videos by chance?
this project is relly rocking it i only hope it could go on display somewhere for everyone to go see .....any chance you get games workshop nottsingham to display for a few weeks....... before its sold for charity
looks great, but it definetly needs to have plenty of sea creatures in the water/resin. fishes, crabs, sharks, squids, maybe even a kraken hidden in the rocks
The diorama is nice but those titans would’ve looked great on a tabletop. I just hope the resin pour goes well for you. I’ve seen some disastrous pours recently on other hobby channels. Make sure you use a vacuum pot and your using deep pour resin. Good luck with it.
Everyone talking about the titans and my dumb ass is sat here wondering about the music. Fantastic work so far. Bet there is some clenching over the resin pour to come.
Would of been nice to see the new freehand work clearly and for more than 2 seconds considering the effort that has been put into it. Great painting as always.
I am super scared for them as well. I did not see how there last one went, but it sounded like they did not like it. I work with resign and it can be finicky so My fingers are crossed.
The pose of the loyalist titan, appearing to not be looking at the enemy, one weapon pointed away and the other aimed over the chaos titans head while the enemy still looks ready to fight, just doesn't look good. You could say the loyalist is confident in getting the kill but to me it just poses badly.
I've never messed with panels that thick, would it be possible to heat deform some of these for battle damage? Would be a cool look if it doesn't ruin the paint complete.
It would be nice to see some admech attendants on the diorama. Be a good way to exemplify the god machine aspect of titans with the little retinue of faithful followers.
I wonder if it makes sense to emulate some sort of suspended matter in the water. Those titans should have created some mess with their steps. Maybe not too much for aesthetic reason.
Well done fellas looking almost done, also this is probably a bit late but a pacific rim robot head sized down and half buried in the sand woulda been funny
Did you really paint the Vallejo Model Color directly to resin for the battle damage? Are you going to varnish? Are you sure that paint will adhere well enough to bare resin? I shouldn't be second guessing Squidmar, I'm just very surprised!
If that goblin is gonna be underwater then you guys should have given him a scuba tank and mask.
Or at least a straw
Yeah either a straw or the scuba/Mask from the ork kill team grot
Exactly what I was goint to write before I saw this comment :)
Or better yet, just close him with a glass door, so you can still see him but he is protected.
@@dullegitteyeag snap me too lol the grapple hook grot
You guys should add a scuba gear to the goblin to avoid him from drowning.
It would be too funny that he's hiding from a shark or something in there, leading his own battle for dear life.
Anyway great work it's such a fun serie
maybe a duell vs the crab mini
Make sure you make the newly added chains look like theyre "floating/moving" during the lowered weight underwater in the fight and add some awesome waves to really animate the battle!
Love this series!
Yep yep! I was going to lave a comment saying the same thing. The chains wouldn't just be "hanging" as the titan falls through the water.
Is anyone else genuinely terrified of the resin pour?
Absolutely!!
Im absolutely terrified…large resin pours are SO finicky and can turn out SO disastrous, and this might be the most expensive diorama being buried under resin of all time
im waiting for those chains to start 'floating' in it
Fairly sure Emil is
Yea, you can sence the dread in the outtro😅
Awesome that Vince was involved in this! Although the reveal of his piece was a little short maybe, with just you guys looking at it and slotting it in place. Would have been nice to see it displayed on it's own.
This^
Here you have Vince Venturella’s video on his freehand ruclips.net/video/VVZozZ6W5tQ/видео.html
Its only a pity he made a tzeench theme, it doesnt fit that well with the rest
I'm sure you guys have, but I'd definitely double check the weight limit of that table because that resin pour is going to be HEAVY. Can't wait to see how this all turns out :)
I really hope they do the resin slushing about with the weight of the titans and not just flat. see recent golden demon winner of the giant in water.
@@viciousyeen6644I agree, I think they could add those in after the initial pour.
Dudes... I've watched almost your whole Warlord Titan series... y'alls editing, flow, music and friendship is amazing.
Squidmar what a cool project, I have a suggestion for the melted bullet shot cavities, maybe some residual heating effect? Like this some of the shots just got punted into that armor and its still hot? Might not need to do it on all of them, but I bet it would be cool on at least a couple!

You guys really missed a golden opportunity with that extra Titan head, you should’ve painted it up as the @MidwinterMinis Titan 😂
The goblin needs a snorkel or some scuba gear!!
I vote for a window or porthole of some kind

1:40 - Oh NOOoo.. There is a corridor at the back of the Titan's Head leading to the main body! And not just some pipes and cables (of course there are, but not in its middle part!).
Thought the exact same thing, kinda a major mistake if you know anything about Titans.
When a titan steps on the ocean floor It will bring up a bunch of cloudy debris and mud... and a titan falling will create a lot of waves and turbulence. Excited to see what you do with the water...
That goblin will be in need of scuba gear!

They learnt from this when they collaborated with jezza. Their piece and and tabletop times piece had messed up resin pours.
Thank you for pushing some material into the drilled holes. Annoyed me to no end with midwinters titan.
Just when you thought the Warlord Titan vids were done.....BAM! Another one!
excellent job so far loving the way the diorama is shaping up .

I cannot wait to see this finished! I didn’t think you could top the Tau diorama but…
Really excited to see the end result of this project, legendary stuff, you guys do amazing work!
The chains do so much for the chaos titan. Good call

Happy to see that Vince did a panel for this amazing display!
This thing is looking truly spectacular. And I like the inclusion of the 10c Goblin - "remember where you came from", indeed.
That custom chaos titan head is still the most amazing thing I have ever seen in anything 40k!
Love the nod to the goblin
the chains really hit the spot! awesome
I use phrozen and ive never been disappointed in the quality and ease of use
Here's hoping when you pour the resin you pay attention to your resin's max pour depth and weight, last time I saw creators make stuff with resin they all poured too much resin and had disasters (oh wait that group included you hahah)
I believe in a previous video, they talked about having reached out to a company to get all the specs on the resin they are using.
I remember that vid with that weirdo Aussie artist that “convinced” me to back a game because he made miniatures for!
be careful with the WERLURD TITEN
you should add like barnacles and stuff like on the blue titans so it looks like it has been on the water for a very long time
would be fun to put a breather on the goblin
I like how the goblin looks like these titans woke it up and it grumpily stomped out of its house.

Amazing work, I would probably be very scared when it comes to the Resin pure.
i think it would be really cool to do a collage of all the grand reveals you've done throughout the build
Something to think of, during the pour your chains might try to "float"
How will you guys do the water? It should be churning with bubbles. Would look great if you can pull it off without obscuring too much of the builds.
And dust!
Updoot for goblin, but minus points for no "WAR-LORD TI-TAN!" :P
Great video, and Vince's paint jo just pops, bring in the resin, hopefully you guys learnt from the mistakes table top time did with theirs once you left Australia.
Secret Goblin! I love that haha
An Alternative to the Goblin-Scuba Gear would be to paint him as a Monument Statue that has been submerged or sticks out of the Sand...
It would be nice to see some of the battle damage on the chaos titan bleed or expose some organic material
Like how Leviathan is just chilling in the background
Amazing work, can't wait for the finished results!!! Also a random question. Are you guys planning an Xpress colours review?
Det här är så jäkla ballt projekt!
Asså fyfAAnnn..... vilken ångest när det är dags för resinet 😂 Håller tummarna! Lycka till! 🙌

Close that poor goblin with like a glass door or something. Otherwise him standing underwater would be strange. Maybe a scuba tank?
2 things, put a glass bubble in from of the goblin.
and i think the impact holes should have a bit of impact dirt there?

I do not envy you that resin pour one bit. I'm anxious about it and I'm half a world away!
0:19 It brought us to two "warlord titans"? o_0
Not "WAAAAAAARLOOOOORD TIIIIITAAANS!!" ?
What am I watching actually?)
The diorama is nice but those titans would’ve looked great on a tabletop. I just hope the resin pour goes well for you. I’ve seen some disastrous pours recently on other hobby channels. Make sure you use a vacuum pot and your using deep pour resin. Good luck with it.

@@rahveel thanks for finding!

I’ve been keeping up with this series and the thing I’ve learned is the warlord titans are huge and take a lot of time. I’ll stick to my normal minis
What about adding 1 reconigized piece from each model traded as scrap at the bottom of the pour?
Yesssss the secret night goblin!!
I would’ve painted the claw marks on the shoulder glowing hot, like from the very recent friction of it
It would be truly amazing if they put LEDs on it, I think it could lighten up the areas in the resin and make a nice deep sea vibe...
It has lights.
@@BloomThat i meant like rusted skylight looking underwater lights.
it's super cool. but oh my lord emperor I cry T_T for all the excellent paint work scarred
Are you doing the resin pour in layers so nothing gets to hot and wrecks the paint work?
Looking wicked so far! Well done! I’m nervous on your behalf for the reason pour…. Good luck 😬
Where's the chaos crabs scuttling about underwater? Crustaceans undivided!
Would of been nice to see the new freehand work clearly and for more than 2 seconds considering the effort that has been put into it. Great painting as always.
The end of the gun barrel look like a nerf gun but this diaporama is just beautiful!
So barnacles on the legs of the loyalist titan would look awesome
I am super scared for them as well. I did not see how there last one went, but it sounded like they did not like it. I work with resign and it can be finicky so My fingers are crossed.
Gobbo buddy needs a lil clear dome in front of him or something to protect him from drowning!
That's crazy. I would have been crippled by even thinking about damaging those models after all that work @_@
Dope! Love the easteregg

I really hadn't noticed that until I saw your comment. It's gonna bug my OCD now and make my brain itch!! Thanks for that 😂😂
It’s looking amazing, and really enjoying the journey
Looks fantastic!
Ok maybe this a silly question.
But why damage the panels after prepping and painting.
Wouldn't it been easier to damage them beforehand?
1:19 They just have the Manta diorama tucked away in a closet lol
I've never messed with panels that thick, would it be possible to heat deform some of these for battle damage? Would be a cool look if it doesn't ruin the paint complete.
It would be nice to see some admech attendants on the diorama. Be a good way to exemplify the god machine aspect of titans with the little retinue of faithful followers.
Is it possible to do the resin pour in a big vacuum chamber so it gets nice and clear?
Asså grabbar!! För himla braaaa är ni!!🔥🔥🔥
Kinda messed up the decapitated Titan head, it looks amazing but the neck is an access tunnel, not a solid mass of wires and tubes.
I'm coming to this six months late and I love it so far, but I really hope they tweak the loyalist Titan's head to be looking at the enemy.
Yo! The dents and damage on the chaos titan should bleed and ooze that would be extra heretical!
That moss is probably going to be reactivated by the resin pour.
Did you really paint the Vallejo Model Color directly to resin for the battle damage? Are you going to varnish? Are you sure that paint will adhere well enough to bare resin? I shouldn't be second guessing Squidmar, I'm just very surprised!
This is amazing, you guys are great
Isn't that the manta diorama in the top right corner on the shelf at 5:28 ? Wasn't it shipped to australia?
