is there a place that gives 3d printed minatures? not pdf files i dont own a printer but i want a subscription for prints so i can paint at a cheaper cost i cant afford many paints or even minis at that price lol
I’ve been painting for two years now, and I can safely say that painting is probably the thing I am best at. And I can say it was you who really inspired me to try new techniques, and figure out how I like to paint. You even sent me a video congratulating me on my new journey all the way back. Congrats to four years! You certainly boosted my painting journey and I am very grateful the the excellent content the team brings.
In the early 90s, depending on how hungover we were, my friends and me used to either play D&D (most earlier than 3e) or paint. won a Gob Lobber (lead sprules) from a D&D comic shop painting competition. Won a wyvren from that one... Then, life. Just assembled my Ork Boyz (this time, I needed reading glasses). Cheers, fo everything you two do brothers! Good luck on the titans!
It's kind of amazing the massive jump in quality from being a kid painting a mini vs an adult. Like even that first mini you painted in 2017 looks fantastic!
i already loved the video before 10:30 and then that little girl of yours comes on screen. i wish all the best to you and your family - it was a joy looking at your backstory
This has been super enjoyable, honestly. Cause there is a part that I didn't fully know about, from the times before youtube... but the thing is, I know EVERY miniatures from your youtube journey, and seeing every single one of them again... yeah, super fun to see how much you've grown, the channel has grown, and how fast time passes!! Would love to see another video like this one in 4 years! Cheers, man.
The LOTR Pinball machine made my jaw drop thats insane! the Warlord v Warlord Diorama looked like it was an intense piece to work after watching all the videos. I love watching you guys, when i watch this channel i always find myself with the motivation to paint
Once again, thanks for everything. You've singlehandedly been the biggest influence on my entire hobby, and I'm ridiculously grateful for it all. Here's to many more years of painting in the future!
Went on vacation for a week, finally catch up on videos and your first commission paint, the Terminator Chaplain, I just bought an inbox mini of it this morning from a guy. Might be a sign....
Started painting again one year ago back in the hobby.. Inspired by your videos. I am still far away from your results, but it so funny to see some of your minis from your childhood and the same journey of miniatures in my boxes😂😂. Keep it on.. Love These Videos.. And still trying to get closer to your results 🙃 thank you
I started watching your channel from almost the beginning. Thanks so much for the inspiration. I can can get to half of where you are now in the next two years I will be over the moon!
Thank you for all the videos you put out! You got me back into painting in general, doing value studies and speed painting challenges just from being inspired by your guys' videos, and eventually back into miniature painting!
Love this video 👍 I think I've watched your channel from the start and enjoy it so much, as I'm a 50 year old granny and don't know anything about gaming or Warhammer 🤔😆 I've thoroughly loved your content and your daughter is absolutely gorgeous 😍 Thanks again ❤🏴
The "how to paint blood angels with contrast" video was probably the first one i saw from this channel. And still waiting every week for a new video. So congrats for the 4-years anniversary, and thsnks for all the videos
You are so, so freacking insane 🙏🏻 that was a great Nostalgia Trip and i allready follow u here a couple of years. I hate my Fingers, and i hate my paintjob because i am horrible and will never be able to make such amazing pieces (i dont have the patiente, time and energy for that) but you are such an amazing Inspiration for me in this Hobby and i enjoy the spirit you give, your work and your one-of-a-kind-ness. Please stay this great as you are 🙏🏻
I discover your channel with your manta project and it was an amazing project to watch. You do a very impressive job and I love how your work on your diorama projects. I started painting when I was 16 years old but it was very dispersed over time and I ended up stopping painting but I started over in 2021 thanks to Alphacast, a streamer on Twitch who create a show on is channel called warhaprem in which he paint miniatures for his armies. I'm more productive than before but I still have a big motivation problem and I don't know how to overcome this problem.
👍👍👍 Love the channel pretty much watched all of your videos for the past year, really looking forward to the big Titan Diorama Grand Reveal! 🙌 Definitely inspired me to get painting again and I feel like I have something in common with this video as I just came back after a 20 year break and for content on my channel I repainted my OG Daemon Prince. Man the paints and peripheries seem so much better now, than back in the day... Nowhere near your level of finish quality, but I'm enjoying the hobby! And the models look a lot better than they did when I was 14! Awesome channel, thank you man! (And Lucas & the team).
The imperial fist video was the first painting video I watched after I bought my first kit. I didn’t realize how long it’s been it’s been a wild ride so far!
Your channel was the first one I starting watching when the COVID lockdowns began and I decided to get back into painting. Your style has been one of the most appealing too with great production, cool music and great choices of minis to paint. A lot of the instructions were in one ear and out the other until I put a few models in but hopefully I'm getting a bit better. I thought about calling myself Mediocre Miniatures but apparently someone beat me to it! Haha. Love your work guys.
That Space Ork box was the filled with character and I still have all of those Orks from that box and actually still have some of the box as well. Been using it to hold more 40K Orks and the 1990's was a great time to be in both 40K and WFB. But GW changed in the late 1990's and started to kill off their games, but from 1989 to 1998 it was a great time.
I started painting around when the channel started and I got to wonder how a variety of models effects your growth as a painter. Since Ive only done space marines and imperial guard and a few d&d minis, I feel I haven't improved a whole lot in the same span of time as this video.
I think it's quite funny how short period of time you've actually been on youtube, but also how much you have achieved in this short time. Ett varmt grattis och stort lycka till inför framtiden!
I never even thought of looking up painting tutorials. I'm so glade I was recommended your channel cause I wanna take my painting to the next level! thanks so much!
Waw that looks all amazingly beautiful. I sadly can't show my miniatures from the 1990's because they were stolen in 2001😢. But I started again and your channel helps a lot to improve my painting now. Greetzzz from the Netherlands
Thx for this Video. Crazy how fast time goes by since I follow this channel. Since COVID your videos are a part of the week.A cool hobby timeout with often good laughs(Lord of the Rings or Harry Potter Cosplay). You and your team are great.Big thanks for charing your journey🎉
I still remember your suggestion about dropping washes to become a better painter, ever since I followed your tip and started experimenting with wet blending and glazing my fun at painting miniatures skyrocketed. I think I saw all of your videos and i'm really greatful that you decided to begin this RUclips adventure.
Its amazing to watch this! We probably entered the same tournaments if the pictures are from Noliamässan in my hometown? I used to paint alot of Spacewolfs and came like third in one tournament. I just bought my first pack of spacemarines in like 15 years and its amazing!
Roman: Great video idea and pretty cool miniatures! I would love to do this do, but can't, painted just too many 😂 I remember my first three years when I started I painted 450 miniatures a year :D
You're a very talented person. I am following you since beginning of this year, if i am not mistaken, i thought ive only seen a small part of all your content, but most of the minis look familiar to me :D keep up the good work
Really incredible art! It amazes me the quantity of painting you have done at such high quality. It inspires me to keep chipping away at the figures in my little box of Imperial Assault. (I'll get it done one of these days). Keep up the great work!
I stumbled on one of you videos by chance and I was hooked just on watching you paint. And here I am, year and a half later painting for couple of hours a day, every day :) Thank you for inspiring me to join the best hobby a human can have ;)
I’m glad to know that I just started painting and my painting skills currently are about equal to a 14 year old version of you. Not bad for a complete newbie
The only thing I ever painted was a Bloodbowl team. I love the miniatures but I'm too impatient to spend countless hours on them. However I really enjoy watching content by people like you who do have the patience (and skill) to turn them into amazing pieces of art.
Hi. I've been following you for quite a while. I painted a lot in my youth starting in the 90's as a kid also. Now I'm at a point where I want to start painting again. I've become a funko pop collector, and just finished painting my first one. If you ever feel like trying something new for fun. Then I'd simply love to see how such an amazing painter as yourself would approach painting a funko pop, which has such few details compared to warhammer. I surely could use the inspiration, and since you can get a few warhammer funko pop's I'd at least throw it out there in the universe. 🙂
I love all your paints and builds, but would love to see you guys play a game of either 40k or AOS! You guys seem to have loads of fun painting, can only imagine how much fun a game would be!
Ooh, I have a story about that model at 16:48. So for Christmas, my friend kitbashed me a xenarite tech priest named "Fritz," whose specialty was Necron tech. Fast forward a few months, I'm over at her place for some hobby time, and she's like "You want the dude who was Fritz's Necron part donor?", I was like "Sure," and that model at 16:48 was the guy, minus the claw and the gun. I gave him a shield and a new gun and named him "Ramsey." So that model is just Ramsey to me now lol
Dude, believe it or not, my 1st mini painted about 22 years ago was the wardancer champion like that :D got back into the hobby week ago, after 19 years!
Maybe you are just glossing over it, but I find it interesting that you got into warhammer from a pure painting side (like entering competitions as a kid and when you picked it up again in 2017). I spend a ton of time painting but for me its all in service of creating the armies that i want to play with.
wow, nice. I remenber the firt video aI saw was tha tau army with luka. Time has really pass and tanks to this and a lot of other creators videos I started enjoying the hobby o playin and painting tabeltop.
I member spending so many hours trying to paint a Gretchin, my first ever mini, was painting it in the GW store itself, I'd stared at it so closely that when I came out of the store my vision blurred for a couple hours.
I wish u would do a video on painting Seraphons, like Starmaster Slann, and a few raptors. I am just about too paint my first ever miniature and Iv only got 10 acrlyc paints from your sugested Vallejo Game starter box and 3 washes. Hopefully ill manage 🤣
13:36 can anyone help me with the name (if named) of title of the ork in red armour? It was my first ever model, and I can't find one anywhere. TIA x Love your work Sqidmar!
I still have my first minis. it was the Warhammer 5th edition box set. got into the game by seeing it at a hobbies convention back in the 90s. still have my 5th edition lizardman army book too. my army is still undefeated to this day.
Great video , awesome collection and its amazing to know I've watched the last three years of your growth and to know I've got better because of you , thanks and dont stop inspiring. That said I am so eager to see the resin pour for the warlord titans.

Amazing. I hope one day to become better than you. Unfortunately right now I can't spend much time painting, I'm kinda decent, but far from good. I have a hard times with highlights. ca. 0:44 : Oh dear... I see that Warhammer Fantasybattles had a lot of work to do in the 90ies. (Or at least: They had a lot of work, which they didn't do.) The Woodelve Army Book was still official the whole time of 5th Edition. (So: I think this might although be true to all the other books.)
I had plans to suggest doing a collab with Captain Kori at Kraken the Box. Sadly he passed 11 years old last weekend. But perhaps doing something in his memory?
EPIC MINIS. $1 A MONTH. SERIOUSLY.

You're missing a trick Emil. On the underside of the base, you could just paint the date you painted it for reference in the future.
That's a great idea!
Or scratch/engrave it in. I stripp mine pretty often lol
In the early 90s, depending on how hungover we were, my friends and me used to either play D&D (most earlier than 3e) or paint. won a Gob Lobber (lead sprules) from a D&D comic shop painting competition. Won a wyvren from that one... Then, life.

Your daughter is the silent hero of this video! 😂😂😂
That scene was wonderful.
Stay strong Emil, your videos are always a beautiful inspiration.

Thank you Emil.
Nice too see your painting history.

started painting in 2020 and ur videos have certainly made me a better painter
Found you via that Desert Terrain piece you did way back when and just happened to stay :D amazing work Emil (and Lukas and behind the scenes guys)
So cool to see the progress I started watching back before the thunderhawk and am always blown away at the quality of the videos and painting!
The "how to paint blood angels with contrast" video was probably the first one i saw from this channel. And still waiting every week for a new video.
So congrats for the 4-years anniversary, and thsnks for all the videos
Where can I get the tiny starships? I looking into kickstarter and I didn't reach them... I like the blue and the green ones!!!
Wow, what a trip down memory lane of the channel :D The squigs and trolls in particular looks freaking amazing.

Nice video. Great to see all the cool minis you (sometimes with help) have painted.
It's absolutely crazy that you got to the stage you are at now from 2017! Super inspiring that progress will come!

The space orks looks awesome!

What an amazing journey and it's just starting! Keep it up 🔥
Ooh, I have a story about that model at 16:48.
Dude, believe it or not, my 1st mini painted about 22 years ago was the wardancer champion like that :D got back into the hobby week ago, after 19 years!
Where does the mini at 13:27 (Guy riding huge rat) come from, please?
Thanks for the inspiration as always!

You're an inspiration.
I member spending so many hours trying to paint a Gretchin, my first ever mini, was painting it in the GW store itself, I'd stared at it so closely that when I came out of the store my vision blurred for a couple hours.
You got me into painting Warhammer while I’m nowhere close to your level I have fun regardless 😅
Dude u came a long way in a short time relatively well done man imagine if u got back into it years earlier though mind blowing
Now I'm really hyped to paint this weekend finally again :D
Amazing work, have you ever thought about showing off your airbrush skills on ghq micro armor modern aircraft, tanks and infantry?
I wish u would do a video on painting Seraphons, like Starmaster Slann, and a few raptors. I am just about too paint my first ever miniature and Iv only got 10 acrlyc paints from your sugested Vallejo Game starter box and 3 washes. Hopefully ill manage 🤣
13:36 can anyone help me with the name (if named) of title of the ork in red armour? It was my first ever model, and I can't find one anywhere. TIA x
Love your work Sqidmar!
It's from a rogue trader, I think it's a nob in mega armor
18:33 We spent a year working on the Manta diorama, amazing project
18:48 sad Manta diorama on a shelf in the background :(
Crazy i think ive been subbed for 4 years
I still have my first minis. it was the Warhammer 5th edition box set. got into the game by seeing it at a hobbies convention back in the 90s. still have my 5th edition lizardman army book too. my army is still undefeated to this day.
I'm planning on painting a night goblin army with a similar style to the one shown at ~11.00 is there a video of the process?
Awesome video and Thank you 🎉
Great video, great story, great painted doods
Great video , awesome collection and its amazing to know I've watched the last three years of your growth and to know I've got better because of you , thanks and dont stop inspiring. That said I am so eager to see the resin pour for the warlord titans.
You have quite the talent !
Great Video. I would like to aske you one question. Wat do you think wat you should buy step after step ? (Im "new" to Minis i only have a warhammer startetbox and Primer but i dont know wat is the next stap for wokre better. Collors washes Airbrush etc. )
Amazing. I hope one day to become better than you. Unfortunately right now I can't spend much time painting, I'm kinda decent, but far from good. I have a hard times with highlights. Guess once I can settle down I'll have to watch every single tutorial on RUclips and paint everyday for at least 4 hours.
Also your color schemes are amazing.
Great video, great story and great portfolio of painted minis :) I keep my list of every painted miniature in my journey, with some work I might get hold on most pictures of them... :D BTW Is there any chance for update on your working through that massive pile of opportunity you once started mentioning after that one video?
Great vid again Emil . It would be great if you could do one on your goblin army!
