Nice job!
So the question becomes. does this lower or raise the value? I mean, i know that's subjective. but still. lol
Rise to war is a trash game tho haha love your work tho
@nozm0149
I'm sure they wasn't paid to say how great the game was every 5mins...
I love how Lucas can just casually smash out Bob Ross back drop like it's no big thing
Fr
....Just a happy little tree here.....a tiny little Elfses there. 😇
I know, right? Crazy!!
I'd like to see him make a Happy Little Mordor.
@@Treeslayer82 your comment just made my day!
Genuinely baffled by the amount of projects you have on the go. This year I've painted 3 Warriors, a shipping container and some chemical barrels. 😅
Love it.
Starting out with a thin, “initial pour” when doing a deep resin pour will greatly aid in both sealing small holes and voids you cannot see and will also kind of trap a majority of bubbles in that initial small thin layer and fill small cracks and crevices that like to trap bubbles anyway. Mixing up a small batch and initially running it over and draping/pouring it over the diorama and using a small brush to aid in coating everything has really helped me avoid major leaks and wasted resin. Beautiful as always by the way!😀
Team Squidmar: starts a huge diorama for the Manta
Also Team Squidmar: makes a bunch of other awesome large scale dioramas *at the same time... do you guys have a portal to another dimension where the day has 98 hours?!
We just don't sleep 😂

Emil!!!!!!!! Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat!1!@# Man, what an effort and absolute CRAZY amount of work that went into this. The final result is absolutely stunning and incredibly amazing. Not enough adjectives to describe this work of art... What a masterpiece to have at Squidmar HQ to really show off all the talent you guys have over there. The pinnacle of your time here on YT my man. Big grats to you all on this one.❤❤❤🏆
❤️❤️❤️
Bro Im not kidding I just came from one of your videos. And the caste is amazing, your my inspiration for my diorama I’m making.
Heeey that’s awesome haha. 😊❤️
I love how you didn't take away much from the orginal, and just made it better and better and can still play it. It looks so good! Most fake trees look terrible but those ones with the variation in texture look so much more natural even on such a small scale!
The sponsor is lucky to have you!
Look to the horizon on the tenth day and ill have a pinball machine.
epic
I remember when I first found this channel and it was the video where you didn’t think you could continue doing this even as a hobby and now it’s lively hood, it’s so awesome to see you grow.
As a huge pinball fan, this was a really cool project :) Thank you for bringing some attention to an amazing hobby!
right at the end where the real time crush happened I realized. All of this paining and modeling must have been edited into a video while stuff was drying and setting. It explains why there were so many sponsor segments in this video, that if they weren't happy there would be no time to fix it.
Oh man, that turned out so good Emil! Well done to you and the team.
Amazing work as always, this was definitely begging for some LED integration into the Rivendell Diorama. I can even see possibilities here to trigger a mini fogger based on hitting certain things to really make it come alive.
yeah that would be awesome, hopefully we can find some time in the future for it :)
Great vid - I've got plans to do an Amon Hen diorama in the next few weeks so will take some inspo from this!
This was amazing. Would love to have had more B-Roll of the final. Nice video. Keep up the great work.
Seriously epic work! I know the golden rule is never go back to a project, but Id love to see a Balrog replace that one in the middle.
I love that pinball machine. A local pub had it, and earned about as much from it as with beer from our crew.
Awesome work.
Perfect intersection of two passions of mine - miniatures and pinball. Fan va bra!
Seven months I've been working on my MCRN Donnager model for and these guys don't do one project of this size but three or was it four at last count. Either I am just slow or these guys are next level quick.
Maaaan that gollum.. Good job to everyone involved in this projects, the whole is bigger than the sum part. That's when a quote fits perfectly
You guys are hands-down some of my favorite artists PERIOD! Can’t thank you guys enough for the content and inspiration!
One of my favorite games, and the only game that really got me interested in Pinball. It's a dream of mine to own one someday!
Middle-earth SBG is just the best Tabletop Game ever and I love to see some Minis on that channel!
You have to add The Fellowship in the Rivendell diorama part!!! This is epic.
Really good use of the focal space of the machine while still maintaining all the usability of the machine.
Never thought miniatures and pinball machines could be combined, what a unique and creative way to extend our hobby.
I build an arcade machine from scratch and looked into pinball machines for a next project and they are waaaay more challenging in terms of mechanics and electrics.
Really impressive. Great Video!
Lucas is legit a world class painter. The way he paints backdrops asbif it's easy is truly amazing to watch.
Awesome build!!! Looks like Lukas found his inner Bob Ross while painting the backdrop! ;)
Amazing video. Lord of the Rings, Rise of war scored with this one.
Man that's crazy. My ex from high school had this pinball machine in her parents basement. Her dad was a major LotR nerd, and also a huge pinball nerd and once he became a full doctor with expendable income this was his first personal purchase haha
Can honestly say I haven’t seen Emil so hype before 😂
Who knew Robert Englund could paint so good??? Awesome work everyone!
Looks amazing. I love Gamers Grass tufts. By far the best tufts I’ve used.
Excellent video. Well done to everyone. I'm jealous that you have that machine in your studio now. Congratulations!
Also, if you have cause for LotR tie in sponsor again, I'd like to see you paint more of the GW Fellowship models to add in.
I absolutely adore this machine. I remember when me and my brother went to the Pinball Museum in Seattle, we spent 6 hours on and off beating eachothers high scores, it's truly one of my favourite memories. You're a really lucky guy 😄
Wowee, Lukas is like a scandi Bob Ross on that backdrop.
Nice job.
Very impressive! Even coming up with that idea... but actually doing it - wow!
Impressive! One of your best videos if not the best. Very professional.
Great video! I really hope that this wasn't the last time LotR is the main theme of the video
Can really see how happy you were to do this project Emil 👍
What a great idea and very well executed. If there was anything that could be improved, it would be to add Elron and his daughter to Rivendell to bring the elven village to life.
It looks excellent, wish you guys had more time to cast the minis in clear resin as well, theyre so well done Id hate to see a pinball fly into one
I think at that scale, plastic is probably more durable than resin tbh. I've had tons of breakage with my resin prints when some player wasn't careful enough with my minis at least.
@@rogthepirate4593 I'm referring to epoxy resin, basically seal the figures the same way they did with the ones in the swamp, not 3D print new ones
@@Genesis19-26 Ah. You confused me because you said to cast them in resin.
I didn't say they should 3d-print them, but a resin cast and a 3d resin print of a mini are basically the same thing and equally durable (or not).
Encasing the minis in a block of resin might be possible, but would very likely just not look good.
@@rogthepirate4593 Fair, Ive done some work with putting minis into clear epoxy, the challenge is mostly trying to keep it entirely free of bubbles, its something thst requires a good deal of experimenting before you get a good end product -- Took about 2 months for me to be able to consistently nail it. Definitely not something to try if they only have 2 weeks to complete an entire pinball machine haha.
@@Genesis19-26 I think for solo pieces it would look different too, I can definitely imagine it. But I think especially with the distortion it'd probably look weird in the machine haha
this is why you're the biggest mini channel,,,, after games workshop, i guess ^^ a lot of different things. next up an Aquarium safe diorama of bioshock?
Loved seeing your pinball video! The people in the pinball hobby would pay good money for your hand painted minitures!
Lucas went HUGE with that backdrop tho holy moly
Sickest pinball machine I’ve ever seen!
Squidmar forgot a bleep! Love you man! This is SO GOOD!!!!!!!!!!!!
Incredible how everything fell into place for this project. One of your best videos :)
Happy 3rd anniversary Squidmar! Your videos are beyond helpful and the work you do to give back to your fans is an inspiration. Keep up the work and here's to another 300 years! (Yes, not a typo, I want 297 more years at least)
Also, the joy you show throughout this video is amazing. It's easy to get focused on the end of a project and not enjoy the process. Glad to see this wasn't the case on this project, the child-like joy and wonder is palpable.
THIS IS THE BEST DIORAMA IDEA YET!!!! Ive always wanted to do something with pinball machines and you just sparked an idea!! Thanks!!!!
Easily my favourite ever video on this channel. Would love more LOTR content in the future.
It looks so ... precious.
This was awesome, I love the whole idea. Got some great ideas for my own build thank you.
I always gotta admire people who post massive projects on youtube on timely scale without somehow burning out harder than those office workers who smash their computers.
Too close haha
This is something I never thought I'd see. OMG
What a great result, too much to mention. The detail on the palantir is amazing. Love Lucas Ross' backdrop.
That is truly a dream project, very nicely done!
@29:18 Happy little trees!!!! kidding aside, looks awesome!
It turned out awesome! I'll stop by and grab the GC while delivering the next game... 😀
Riktigt coolt!
Grymt snyggt!
Really cool project. And done so quick.
Bro, please take a wide shot of a full round being played on that bad boy. I need it
Oh man this is the most epic pinball machine in the world!
You transformed an entertainment machine, into a marvelous piece of art. Great job.
Incredible work and what an amazing team! Such a treat to watch you build this.
Looks amazing. Only thing is Rivendell looks super dark. Since you created a custom box it would be cool to update it with some LEDs to light the front more. I understand the time constraint with this. Still looks amazing. Kudos
What a cool project. Well done guys, love the team work on this one! Happy pinballing :)
I don't understand how you lads can be so talented. this looks so cool, keep up the awesome work
Wow! Now thats a project all of you can feel super proud of! Great work all of you!
Silverball Retro Arcade in Asbury Park, NJ (USA) has a ton of pinball machines, including the coveted Lord of the Rings pinball. Cool place to go if you're ever in NJ.
That backbox diorama is beautiful, love all the little details. Afraid all those nicely painted miniatures are going to get absolutely destroyed when anyone plays this more than once.. lots of airballs and resulting busted plastics on LOTR machines!
My goodness. The amount of talent you all possess is just astounding and mind blowing. 🤯
so nostalgic to see Puddy! GW Stockholm memories right there :D
Absolutely insane, wow, just wow!
Unbelievable work, well done.
This is awesome that you were able to do this and pull off the tight timeline!!! Great work!
Great project as a fan of LOTR and Lukas looks like Frodo :)
Sweet Video, great job Emil and the whole crew, I would be surprised if this doesn't become your biggest video yet!
This was awesome great video and loved that it was only 1part
You two are just absolutely amazing, is there anything you can’t do? I personally don’t think so. Thank you.
Breathtaking it gets shorts to describe this project. You guys, are simply amazing
...its like when you go to your blacksmith to upgrade a Rare item to Epic.
Congrats with the outcome, it truly is EPIC ! ...and probably 10x the price now
Truly Epic! Also Lucas is ridiculously talented
The amount of talent in you guys, incredible.
i remember playing on a jurassic park pinball machine when i was a kid with my dad, thats a nostalgia hit i didnt know i needed
i love all the collaboration support to get this done so quickly. well done all!
This is amazing. Awesome job Emil, Lucas and the rest of the team.
Gandalf, "You shall not!"
Pinball Machine, "Tilt!"
Gandalf, "Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh!"
wow, so much LOVE in all these Projects - pls never stop! Greeting from Germany
Ridiculous amounts of fun, ridiculously well done!
That high score is going to be so small. I wouldn’t be able to focus on the ball, this piece is stunning! I love it!
Such an impressive build in such a short timeline. A suggestion for a brighter top is to print the sky on a transparency and spray glue it to the acrylic sheet. Best method would be a decal print but that's rather specialized. I used to work in the poker machine industry designing the backlit artwork.
Phenomenal work! under such time pressure too, well done everyone!
It's too bad you guys didn't have more time to plot some points in the water areas for some game driven lights to illuminate them. Having the waterfalls and marsh pools get some illumination for greater visual interest during play would have been amazing. Its mind boggling how much the new details add to the majesty of the table.
ooo Marcus with the In Flames hat. Nice
We have the LotR machine at my work. It’s my favorite. The way it gets played though the GW models would get annihilated lol
Not where they are located:)
Great job on all the additions, only suggestions I have would be to paint the roofs on Rivendell.
Epic build...congratulations on creating a TRULY one of kind machine!!! Incredible - keep up the great content.
Pinball was good but Killer Instinct and MK3 took more of my money as a child. They made an amazing Pin Ball machine with a moving crane for the movie "Last Action Hero".
We've had the opportunity to borrow that from a friend. Crazy fast game but also very fun 😊
What an amazing build! You guys do some great work, but this one really showcased your skills, especially Lucas with his backdrop. - That was worth a video in its own right.
