I’ve seen some furries out there that are really just bad people. I know people say that “the furry fandom is full of good people”, while I think that there’s some people in the furry community that are good, there’s also some people that are pretty bad. (This comment is a little bit outdated, so I recommend taking it with a little grain of salt)
Could literally be said for any communities

When some individuals are animal abusive and sexual predators in the Fandom its a good reason why to stay away from it and hope at conventions they do protect the youth and others in 2021 and future and kick out the bad humans who are sick in the head who put good people in danger

Honestly it's inevitable for any fandom to have bad people. Humanity at it's core is naturally mixed. Most are neutral, some are good, others are pretty bad. The furry community has helped a great amount of people so the fandom isn't bad.

I was expecting some SJW rant, since that seems to be the vast majority of furries now. This was a good video though, calling out real issues and actual shit heads that deserve it.
If you ask me, politics and the furry fandom in general don't tend to go well together.

Every community has bad people and while it's annoying and human pests suck, we have to try our best to ensure we are the meddling kids and so on for these bad people, we must work to make sure bad people know they aren't welcome
Some PEOPLE are just bad people. Some of those people are furries. Some of those people are Rick and Morty fans. Some of those people make period accurate medieval armor in their basements, and yet more still do many more uncountable variable things.

Me too. It brought everyone together, and they didn't change any of the actors/actresses' throughout the entire series.
While it's probably a joke, it doesn't make sense to pick on a group of people who like that movie.

No one is born good or bad, it’s their upbringing, experience and ambitions that determine will they be good or bad. Furries on a larger scale is good, but the bad side is more magnified and publicized. People like babyfurs, altfurs, and murrsuiters, etc. are only 25% of the fandom. The problem with today is people harass ppl who have different interests or different opinions. That’s my observation
I was forced to watch Spy kids 3 at school
Spy Kids 4 and those Sharkboy-Lavagirl (that one had potentional but I guess they literally filmed a child's fan-fiction from dreams). Funny how someone like Robert Rodriguez can straight up make a total kids film (though I'd argue Spy Kids 1 was more family even with kids as the target but 2 was a bit ridicoulous and yeah past that kids only and not even good to the franchise) and then make things like "From Dusk Til Dawn," "Planet Terror," "Machete," and "Battle Angel Alita." Guy has worked with Tarantino and James Cameron. "Machete" was a R-Rated mexican non-powers superhero almost practically that people unfairly didn't ackowledge yet overhyped the total fail of "MCU Namor" and that's a recent one but they've failed before with this and it's like "but someone succeeded and your ignoring it because it's real." Heck, "Machete" could even be considered "woke" but by the definition it once had not how it's been destroyed. A cycle of no credit, drama, and different things that lead to good and bad? See that's being human or a...a face behind the furry. Of course others are really just plain awful. Kiwifarms and artistsbeware need to be booted and restarted. Like please tell people the non FA mascot redvelvet/falvie/etc wasn't a good person but wasn't like, in any way disgusting either (I'd say don't meet your idols but eh ripping off so many people made me not even want a cheap adopt nobody was bidding on from them and I liked the species and not being that detailed which people complained about).
My motto for life: so long as you arn't hurting yourself or others, I couldn't give a shit.

Regarding trolls and haters:
Apart from a comment here and there on youtube, I comment and post a bit more in 9gag, which is not known for its friendly community. And my nickname / avatar makes clear I'm a furry.
There's some hateful people that just... well... hate. And there are those who just kinda want to have fun on your expense. For both, I try to have fun too. I reply with some funny meme or something. If someone says "fucking furry" I reply with something like "oh, yes, please". They tend to leave me alone cuz they know I'm not buying into their shit.
So... most times I find that's the best way to deal with them. Have fun. Make fun of yourself and the fandom just for the sake of a joke. If they REALLY hate you, they'll leave you be. If not, maybe they will even start to like you.

I’m a furry, but beginning to know more about the positive and negative side of it, no offense. And this would sound irrelevant but I had one friend (a non-furry female, and I’m a guy irl) was curious about furries and asked me whether being a furry is having a sexual attraction to anthropomorphic animals.
I didn’t get what she meant by that question and I was apparently felt like being interrogated, I just said yes, and she told me to pray for God because it ain’t normal.
I then told her to keep it a secret, which she accepted, and hence never told her more about furries, even though I sent her links that she would try to read.
Edit: I’m not ruining someone’s furry vibe. Just wanted to tell my side of the story, and my friend isn’t terrible. I’ve been her friend for like 6 years now. I never wanted to tell her more about it as she might judge me for it and force me to stop with what I wanted to do

Some furries are bad people because furries _are people_ . Most people in _general_ are at least decent, but there are _always_ bad eggs for a whole variety of reasons, and thinking that cartoon animals are cool doesn't magically exempt anyone from that. Your interests have no bearing on whether or not you're a decent person.

i think that in the community you have 2/5 that are just regular poeple, 2/5 that have a fusona or a fursuit that are normal and fine over all , but on the other hand for 1/5 you have these poeple that are just plain bad and does not even understand that they do wrong or even act plain bad. the problem is like in every community you can't do without them, but what is special about furrys is that you can see that part of the community, they are numerous exemples and most are known... you don't have to search to far to end up from i like werewolfs, minotaurs, and disney characters, from talking to some one who will tell you how f***able lola bunny is, and what they whould do to her if she was real, between other stuff. doing one quick search online is enouth to reveal some real bad stuff about the community and no one can deny that they are there and give a bad reputation to all furrys that identifies as such.

I make professional realism fursuits and of course they aren't full suits for proportion reasoning and just make costumes for my fursuits. And every day I get very ugly and hurtful comments about how I'm not a real furry cause my fursuits are "poodling" or "too scary" to be fursuits and I don't go to conventions (cause I can't afford it) and then I support Dino maskers. Then I find similar ppl trying to post bewares where I post commissions cause of those reasons or message my commissioners. Luckily for me the admins and my customers are on my side with things then suddenly the particular person is the victim cause my fursuits give them ptsd about something???
