Was so excited for this Platinum Journey. Bastion was one of my favorite indie games, and I've gone through every game but Hades in SG's catalogue. Excited to finally tackle that in January.

Great video as usual Adam. I really enjoyed Bastion too, as well as all of Super giant's games. I think Transistor is my favorite so far, but will be playing hades next year so that might change. Thanks again for the great content.
Hades is amazing! Put way too many hours into the Switch version.

Haven't got to watch this, I like these small middle difficult-ish games, it' like a calming before the storm, for a MGS2 Platinum difficulty game.
I loved Transistor so went back and played this gem. Supermassive are just so good.
One of the best developers. Cool to see them doing so well.

Hey Adam, newly subbed here but actually watched your content beforehand. It's people like you and LudiXP that make me want to get a PS5 to be able to trophy hunt again as I did a lot of it in 7 years with a PS4 (I.E. over 7,100).

I find it so funny that this video just released cause I just started my journey to 100% all of the Supergiant Games before Hades II releases. Happy to see there's still people who enjoy this one as much as I do.

One of my my inspirations for Platinum Journey was The Completionist, we all learn from those that came before us. Cool to see more folks specifically doing trophy stuff. There is a boom.

@@paintsniffer401 That part I find odd. Same opening with subtitles, same rapid pace, same trophy tracker in the corner, often covering the same games. One thing to be inspired by Nick AR, but copying someone's format exactly isn't something I would do.
However, those videos do well and people like making/watching them so wish them all the best.
@@AdamMcDermott yeah that's exactly what I was referring to, hopefully they'll grow into their own style after a while, the content is still pretty good and they're still putting in time to complete the games

I tried this game and it kicked my ass. I am way to impatient. But the cool thing is, I can already see the pieces that later were used to build HADES. Short and sweet episode of Platinum Journey.

Adam would love a 'top 10' shortest Platinums that you've obtained. I'm sure a lot of us would love some plats to get under our belts that won't expend too much time
I think the only other Top 10 video I'll do is Top 10 PS4 games. As for shortest platinums - Bastion, Spider-Man: Miles Morales, God of War 1-3 would be my shortest.

Hey Adam! Been watching for a while. I was curious if you could do a 2022 wrap up video? It just shows how many hours you played this year, most played game, etc. Figured it be interesting!
I'm currently working on a bigger 2022 wrap up video - Looking Back at 2022. I did one for 2020. The video is a combination of the biggest world news, gaming news, some personal stuff and the games I used to escape it all this past year.
However, what I will do is make a RUclips/Twitter post with my PS Wrap Up card and share some details. It doesn't track PS3 so Metal Gear Solid 4's 100+ hours aren't there, haha. You'll be probably be shown it by RUclips, but if not you'll be able to see it under the community tab in a few days.

They all honestly get better from bastion in my opinion and their platinums are a bit easier then bastion too.
Pyre won't be getting an episode, but Transistor and Hades will in the coming years. Already played and adored Transistor back in the day.

Forbidden West will get an episode at some point, but not for a good while. So many other games to cover.
I'm looking forward to your Transistor journey when you get to that. I didn't like the game much at all and found it pretty disappointing after Bastion. Maybe you can change my mind on it.
You did pretty well with that last challenge if it only took you two attempts. It took me a handful and had me running frantic by the time I got it.
I initially didn't like it as much as Bastion when I played it first. Have enjoyed it much more in the following years.
That last challenge is so tough. Whoever came up with it is cruel.

do you have storage expanders on your console?? i just got a ps5 for christmas and i only have 667 gbs which only a stores the little amount of games i have? i thought i would have plenty of storage but it's already full? should i have more? i have no idea what to do
I don't have a storage expander. Solely playing single-player games means storage space hasn't been a problem since the PS3 for me.
hey adam , i have all the trophy’s except the one that needs a million points on score mode, do you have any tips about this one ? cause i’m really confused about it..
I unlocked that naturally while doing the dream sequences. Played through most of the story, then did the dreams, popped no problem.
Wait if you got to get one trophy this a secret trophy you can get but it doesn’t pop what’s wrong we have to get all the endings in the game and second of all do you have to be in the harvester faculty there is and get all the endings and you’ll get the trophy go outside there’s some grass
