  • Installing a Vance & Hines Big Radius Exhaust on my Iron 883, but this definitely not a how to video. I found a killer deal for a Vance & Hines Big Radius exhaust on Craigslist and I couldn’t pass it up. This is me messing around with my 2017 Harley Davidson Iron 883 trying to figure it all out. Thanks for watching.

    Hey do those big radius sit lower than stock? I’m worried I might scrape them. I also have an iron 883

    Been looking into these for my 19 883. Is the tuner necessary?

    • @nooowayyjose
      @nooowayyjose  3 года назад

      I read mixed messages on this, about the tuner, and most things lead me to believe that it would be in the best interest to have the tuner. One thing I didnt want to do was run the bike too rich or too lean, and because I dont really know enough about whether or not I would have an engine light issue, I didnt want to take a chance.
      Me personally, now, knowing what I know, would probably run an aftermarket 2 into 2, off a stock 2-2, without the tuner but if switching it from a 2-2 into a 2 into 1, then get the tuner. If youre doing both a exhaust and airbox, then yes, best to get the tuner. I am not a tech or trained in this, just a guy with 2 cents. Good luck! Thanks for watching.

    Did those end up being the right gaskets?

    • @nooowayyjose
      @nooowayyjose  2 года назад +1

      They did work out, no exhaust leaks or obvious issues. I’ve been running them for over a year now. Thanks for watching.

      The term, a come up, is like saying “a good deal”… I only paid a fraction of the price compared to a brand new set. Thanks for watching.
