You are the only video showing how the bracket assembles. You’re getting a like and new subscriber. I sat there looking it it for 30 min trying to figure it out. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!!!!
Use to live not far from there recently and was around John Young Pkwy all the time on my bikes. Brings back memories seeing it all again. I use to have a great time on that exact onramp @23:34
i know this is an old video but i am looking at picking up a 2016-2020 dyna and iv been watching so many of your videos!! :D my wife and i are addicted to watching your videos.
Just got done putting them on my 2017 harley davidson low rider s and they sound fucking awesome. They're a massive improvement over stock. Luv the deep rich sound and how loud it is without being obnoxious and it tappers off while cruising.
I was not comparing the two brands sound wise. V&H sound great too. Just said that the Bassanis BLOCKHEAD installed on his bike look better than the V&H he had on his sportster. In the end its your own taste that is important and nobody else's. (o:
Thanks Lockergeil, appreciate it! I like them more than the V&H Big Radius because of their ground clearance alone. They both were great sounding exhausts. At the end of the day, which 'sounds better' is subjective as it's based on opinion. so HDBDP1299 (long ass name bro,) "nothing sounds better than V&H' is an opinion. I like em both! But Bassani won this time for the Low Rider S :)
loving the vids, i found your channel when i was in the market for an 883 iron, i liked them, didnt like the price, so i went with a honda shadow phantom 750, and im loving it, its slow but a blast to ride
Good job Block! That sound is GREAT!!!!!!! can you get a Florida Inspection with those pipes? I have to change out my Rush pipes every year for Inspection.......
How did you install the pipes without removing the heat shields? I had no room for maneuver with them on? Also when tightening the flanges, do the flanges touch the body? I tighten as much as I dared and the flange still had a gap with the body
DANG!!! I've been searching for an install vid for this bike and those pipes!!! Finally found yours! TYVVVM!!! Great vid. Probably place my order for those pipes this week. PS: Love your med kit! (Black electrician's tape :) :) ) Thanks again for the vid! Keep 'em coming!
WOW! SO, I thought I was going to place an order for these pipes this week. SPLAT! They are nowhere to be found. One place said backordered till Aug 14. Oh well. Guess I'll wait another month.
Blockhead, I got a question, I just threw the same exhaust on my 2020 softail slim. I am waiting on my FP3 to come in. The air cleaner is on as well. Is it safe to ride the bike until the tuner gets here or should I wait
During the startup in the garage it looked like the headlight was brighter white. LED DayMaker? You're still gonna go with that light, right? Sounds great man.
Do you feel a lot of heat from the pipes on your legs? Seems like the position of the pipes on the bike would burn your legs. Other than that the pipes sound sweet!
Lol pew pew... full on laughed out loud :) great video. It's funny I watched yours just after Bike and Birds.. you guys really are brothers in kind lol
What combination did you select on the FP3 for mapping?Im going to install the same exhaust on my 2017 Breakout and there is no Bassani make exhaust on there list.
Hey blockhead I'm looking at getting my first bike and I'm trying to decide weather to get the iron 883 or the forty eight and I was curious if you could go back to when you got the iron would you have got the forty eight instead, most of my riding would me back road in the country, idk what to choose just wanted to hear your opinion thanks
texasman 6892 I have a 883 it's my first motorcycle and harley. It's a great bike and has good power. The 48 is a great bike also but it has a smaller tank then the 883. Just remember if you want more ccs (power) you can always bore it out. Hope this helps y'all.
Iron Knight 759 ya I like the way the iron looks more than the 48 but was worried it wouldn't be enough power, and the tank size was kind of what made me question the 48 and like you said I could bore out the iron and the kits are only like $1500 so I'd probably save money with the iron
texasman 6892 the 48 is going to have more power but you will save money if you go with the 883. if you would like to hear and see how my iron sounds just follow me on Instagram @ IronKnight759
Iron Knight 759 that's exactly what I was thinking because I can do the oversized kit myself because I'm pretty confident I can do it because I rebuild Diesel engines for a living thank you for the advice it helped a lot I'm going to go with the iron it just makes more sense.
For all 2017 models, any exhaust that's a full header voids your warranty, Harley will also not work on a 2017 with full headers, you can add screaming eagle slip ons and your warranty will be fine, you can also add any other slip ons but you will have to sign a waver saying that you give away your warranty and harley is not held accountable if anything was to go wrong, but they will still work on your bike
What sounds better. The Iron or the low rider S ? The Low rider S has a 1800cc block compared to the Iron with just 883cc block. I would guess the sound is deeper on the low rider.
Hey Blockhead, thx for the nice vid bud! But have a lil question, my hd 48 has a stage 1 tune with diff exhaust and kurya air filter. If I remove the main fuse and plug it back in, do I have to retune it? Thanks in advance!
Hey Steven these will fit for your Iron www.amazon.com/Bassani-Radial-Sweeper-14-16-Superlow-XL/dp/B00SK1RD92/ref=sr_1_8?s=automotive&ie=UTF8&qid=1500906562&vehicle=2017-1187-20498-20-----14201------1-0&sr=1-8&ymm=2017%3Aharley+davidson%3Axl883n+iron+883
Yup! Like Iron said, they do make them for the Sporsters - amzn.to/2uyaRWO Not sure if that'll link to the same ones he linked to, but those should fit as per description I believe. Double check the part numbers on Bassani's site to guarantee fitment before ordering. Happy modding!
Asuh, Blockhead? Big fan of the videos man! I had a couple questions for you if you don't mind. I was wondering what your monthly payments looks like on the Low Rider S? I'm currently riding a Yamaha FZ6 and looking to trade-up to the LRS and over to the H-D lifestyle. And last, I'm curious what you do for a living to afford these two badass new bikes you have?! Lol, keep up the great work man!
I have a 2016 Street Bob Limited edition but the pipes seem to have an exhaust valve that shuts one of the end cans off when on tick over as there is a connecting pip between the two. Anyone know what I need to do with the cable that opens the valve?
Blockhead, I have the same bike and installed the Two Brothers Racing exhaust and i now love my bike but you need to adjust the rear shock. It makes a huge difference when you adjust the shock to your weight. You'll need the spanner wrench from the dealer but I made my dealer give me one for free bc I believe they should come with one to adjust the suspension or have service adjust it for you prior to delivery. Let's us know what you think about the bike once you adjust the suspension.
I'm confused about the whole tuning thing. I have an 11 iron 883 and want to put a arlen ness monster sucker and the V&H big radius on it. Do i NEED the fp3?
Hey I also live in orlando. Was thinking of either getting a yamaha bolt r spec or a harley forty eight. This would be my first bike so just want to know if I could learn on the 48? Also will I get made fun of for getting bolt for it not being a "mans" bike?
What up, Blockhead, fellow Central Floridian (I'm Tampa), and fellow FXDLS owner. I have an FP3 on the way this week for my Low Rider S. How do you like to canned map, and did you have any issues?? I have read about some problems with the FP3 pairing with the 2017 LRS. However, V&H said they corrected the software issue just a few weeks ago, and all is well. Just wanted to get some feedback from someone who just bought the FXDLS (got mine about a week before you) and put on an FP3. Thanks!
I'm in St. Pete with an FXDLS. Got it back in December. Have had the FP3 since the first week. Over 6k miles to date. No problems. Auto tune works well.
Kinda sounded sour about Vance and Hines all of a sudden. I would be glad to have any company help me with purchases or meeting me half way if I put out RUclips content showcasing there products.
Harley dealers are not allow to recommend FP3 they are only allow to sell screaming eagle tuner as part of dealer network agreement. You must have really honest dealer if they recommended the FP3 lol
Wish that was true here as well... The parts guy at my HD dealer told me that installing an FP3 would void the warranty on my new Breakout. (then leaned in and told me that he prefers the FP3 over the SE tuner, and to install the FP3 as soon as my warranty is up) This is prob a good thing as I have already had some service issues with the bike after getting them to install the SE 110 stage 3 performance upgrade (with a Heavy Breather and Bassani Pro Street exhaust)
You will know as soon as you start it. While it is running you will hear very VERY loud noise coming from the point where the exhaust enters the jugs. You can put your gloved hand up near it and you can feel the exhaust escaping also. If it isn't sealed, it is very obvious if you are right next to the bike.
I was stuck on the V&H pipes for the LONGEST time because NOTHING could touch how they sounded... But now I just might have to change my mind on that.. And by just watching the video the sound those pipes were making were making me want to drop the panties lmao

Thanks for that tip about using flanges to push crush gaskets in. You're legend. I'll save myself some aggravation during exhaust swap :)
i know this is an old video but i am looking at picking up a 2016-2020 dyna and iv been watching so many of your videos!! :D my wife and i are addicted to watching your videos.
If you find a 18-20 dyna I’ll give you a milli
Just ordered the same exhaust for my 2003 dyna lowrider. Can’t wait to hear it on a carbed bike
Harley with a street bike in the back. A guy after my own heart! Right on!
Just got done putting them on my 2017 harley davidson low rider s and they sound fucking awesome. They're a massive improvement over stock. Luv the deep rich sound and how loud it is without being obnoxious and it tappers off while cruising.
Love the bassani sweepers, I wrapped mine instead of going with the heat shields. I do have to say tho they look bad ass on the low rider S.
The new exhaust sounds wicked... I was always a fan of Bassani on cars. Good install vid
Sounds mean AF bro! Cheers from Baton Rouge, La and gratz on the new bike!
they look great, sound great and look better than the V&H. Have fun out there
lockergeil nothing sounds better them vance and Hines.
I was not comparing the two brands sound wise. V&H sound great too. Just said that the Bassanis BLOCKHEAD installed on his bike look better than the V&H he had on his sportster. In the end its your own taste that is important and nobody else's. (o:

Good job Block! That sound is GREAT!!!!!!! can you get a Florida Inspection with those pipes? I have to change out my Rush pipes every year for Inspection.......
Now that is the sound I was waiting for
Very well done Blockhead!!!
Looks and sounds great!!!
This is what I was waiting for lol
sounds and looks 10 times better. good choice.. cheers.
Wondering if you will be swapping exhaust if when you sell this bike back to stock exhaust
Will it lead to any issues if we drive the bike with the stock ecu without a Tuner for a while after the sweeper exhaust is installed?
nice clean install dude, sounds great
How did you install the pipes without removing the heat shields? I had no room for maneuver with them on?
Also when tightening the flanges, do the flanges touch the body? I tighten as much as I dared and the flange still had a gap with the body
DANG!!! I've been searching for an install vid for this bike and those pipes!!! Finally found yours! TYVVVM!!! Great vid. Probably place my order for those pipes this week. PS: Love your med kit! (Black electrician's tape :) :) ) Thanks again for the vid! Keep 'em coming!

looks sweet man. i cant wait to get my bike. hopefully this year
Looks and sounds great, I'm trying to decide what to put on my Slim S.
The Thumbnail terrified me! I thought you went with a chrome exhaust xD
Any guidance you can offer for forward controls to midway on 2015 883 with Bassani exhaust -
Short not sweepers. I’d appreciate it.
Really like your stuff. Subscribed. Good job.
Thanks man. For some reason I thought the snap ring goes on the outer side
Are you running the exhaust with baffles or did you take them out?
Another fine video sir. Stay trendy...
Is a fuel pack needed for complete exhaust system replacement? Iron 883
Do you feel a lot of heat from the pipes on your legs? Seems like the position of the pipes on the bike would burn your legs. Other than that the pipes sound sweet!
Do these pipes get in the way changing either oils?
Do you think you would have rather had the Bassani pipes on your iron instead of the big radius?
Did changing your exhaust improve your lean angle?
Lol pew pew... full on laughed out loud :) great video. It's funny I watched yours just after Bike and Birds.. you guys really are brothers in kind lol
What kind of riding gloves did you use in this video ? Thanks !
Hell yeah man, it sounds like heaven. Lol it makes me wanna go start mine up.
What combination did you select on the FP3 for mapping?Im going to install the same exhaust on my 2017 Breakout and there is no Bassani make exhaust on there list.
damn you blockhead! now I want a lowrider S even more than I did before the video... sick bike bro!

How big of difference is between your old bike and the new one, power and acceleration wise?
Night and day. I'll have to get JAMSkyCam (guy who rides w/ us) to line up w/ me one day for a comparison.
I have a lrs and i rode 883 before buying the lrs...omg lol. Lrs is a tq monster.
What sounds better. The Iron or the low rider S ?
The Low rider S has a 1800cc block compared to the Iron with just 883cc block. I would guess the sound is deeper on the low rider.
Is this process similar to an 883 by chance?
Hey Blockhead, thx for the nice vid bud! But have a lil question, my hd 48 has a stage 1 tune with diff exhaust and kurya air filter. If I remove the main fuse and plug it back in, do I have to retune it? Thanks in advance!
How's the decel pop on those sweepers
hey bro would you be selling the old exhaust ?
What are the torque specs for tightening the flanges??
Sounds great and I love the look. Will they fit on a 2017 Iron ?
Hey Steven these will fit for your Iron
www.amazon.com/Bassani-Radial-Sweeper-14-16-Superlow-XL/dp/B00SK1RD92/ref=sr_1_8?s=automotive&ie=UTF8&qid=1500906562&vehicle=2017-1187-20498-20-----14201------1-0&sr=1-8&ymm=2017%3Aharley+davidson%3Axl883n+iron+883
Thanks appreciate the info
Steven Cruz no problem happy to help I also have a 2017 883 owned it for a month I love it.
Yup! Like Iron said, they do make them for the Sporsters - amzn.to/2uyaRWO
Not sure if that'll link to the same ones he linked to, but those should fit as per description I believe. Double check the part numbers on Bassani's site to guarantee fitment before ordering. Happy modding!
BLOCKHEAD hey I have a 2014 iron 883, if I got these pipes you said it wouldn’t need a tuner?
What helmet hanger do you use?
Asuh, Blockhead? Big fan of the videos man! I had a couple questions for you if you don't mind. I was wondering what your monthly payments looks like on the Low Rider S? Sounds great! Did you ever make a 'How To' install video for your 883 V&H install? @BLOCKHEAD
Dam, that was fast..! How much was the fxdls out the door?
Blockhead,
I have the same bike and installed the Two Brothers Racing exhaust and i now love my bike but you need to adjust the rear shock. It makes a huge difference when you adjust the shock to your weight. You'll need the spanner wrench from the dealer but I made my dealer give me one for free bc I believe they should come with one to adjust the suspension or have service adjust it for you prior to delivery.

I'll look into that, thanks!
Donte Harris what adjustment did you make?
Bike sounds great
Thanks!
Did you remove the baffle?
I'm confused about the whole tuning thing. I have an 11 iron 883 and want to put a arlen ness monster sucker and the V&H big radius on it. Do i NEED the fp3?
PJ Hatch you do not necessarily need an fp3 but you do need a tuner of some sort your bike will lean out and run way too hot not
blockhead I go to Sanford all the time actually picking up a 2017 cvo breakout up Friday. you guys ride alot?
+jacob long That's awesome man, grats on the bike, that ones a lot of fun! Usually try to ride for bike nights and weekends 👍🏼
BLOCKHEAD maybe see you around man!
So if i just do the pipe i need a tuner?
Hey I also live in orlando. Was thinking of either getting a yamaha bolt r spec or a harley forty eight. This would be my first bike so just want to know if I could learn on the 48? Also will I get made fun of for getting bolt for it not being a "mans" bike?
Wow! OG Blockhead!
Wow very cool and inspired I hope they have this for my bike,I think if they do I will get them
I used screamin eagle flexible gaskets, those hard cone gaskets suck to install!
Remember after a couple heat cycles to retorque those flange nuts 👍
Love that Low rider best one I’ve seen in a while USA Tennessee prepper smoky mountains Tennessee
Now it’s a Nice bike!
If you just do slip on's. Would you have to use the fp3?
Roamingnome no tuners aren't needed for exhaust only(slip ons)
Nice job. Nice Bike.
Sounds Great!
9:45 😂😂😂😂 bro, are you not wearing any socks???
Woww... I love it so much...
sounds awesome gonna add them to my "when i win the lottery" wish list
Dude sounds narley really nice
That bike would LOOK amazing with blue LEDs
Does it come in Chrome?
What up, Blockhead, fellow Central Floridian (I'm Tampa), and fellow FXDLS owner. I have an FP3 on the way this week for my Low Rider S. How do you like to canned map, and did you have any issues?? Awesome. Thank you for the reply, OnPointFirearms. Hope our paths cross one of these days in the Tampa Bay area!
Great video..Some say that if you have a late model harley with O2 sensors you don't need to tune the bike for a new exhaust. Any thoughts on this?
Kinda sounded sour about Vance and Hines all of a sudden. I would be glad to have any company help me with purchases or meeting me half way if I put out RUclips content showcasing there products.
Another tip, use anti-seize instead of loctite
How to install inteke air cleaner
Yoooo blockhead that new exhaust sounds 😍😩🔥🔥👏👏!!!
Can those pipes go on the iron? I have a 2017. If i could get it to sound like that. ☠
+Roscoe Wolf Glad you like it! Yeah they make it got the Sportster as well, link here! - amzn.to/2vTiSoC
Roscoe Wolf I have the street sweepers on my 1996 1200 I love the sound and rumble mine has the cones taken out
What is mapping?
Harley dealers are not allow to recommend FP3 they are only allow to sell screaming eagle tuner as part of dealer network agreement.
You must have really honest dealer if they recommended the FP3 lol
Harley Davidson Breakout Ducati Panigale 1299 the hd dealers here sell fp3
+1 to what DynaMobbin said, HD here sells FP3
Wish that was true here as well... The parts guy at my HD dealer told me that installing an FP3 would void the warranty on my new Breakout. (then leaned in and told me that he prefers the FP3 over the SE tuner, and to install the FP3 as soon as my warranty is up) This is prob a good thing as I have already had some service issues with the bike after getting them to install the SE 110 stage 3 performance upgrade (with a Heavy Breather and Bassani Pro Street exhaust)
I thought the screaming eagle tuners were discontinued after Harley went through that law suit over emissions.
they got in trouble because they were offering it as a factory option or whatever.
Have similar exhaust on my chopper
Try wrapping the exhaust with heat wraps.
1st Wow, Nice Job !!! That's the Sound !
How do you check for exhaust leaks?
You will know as soon as you start it. While it is running you will hear very VERY loud noise coming from the point where the exhaust enters the jugs. You can put your gloved hand up near it and you can feel the exhaust escaping also. If it isn't sealed, it is very obvious if you are right next to the bike.
AverageJoe thank you.
Doesn't the FP3 void the warranty? At least that's what I was told by my local HD
Stanley my local harley dealership mechanic recommended it n showed me hoe to use it...
how long did it take for you to do the install???,man Harley made a lot of money off of 5 motovloggers who bought new bikes in the last 3 weeks lol
So sick
Love it!
I was stuck on the V&H pipes for the LONGEST time because NOTHING could touch how they sounded... But now I just might have to change my mind on that.. And by just watching the video the sound those pipes were making were making me want to drop the panties lmao
Didn't know Dainese made tables!
Great vid....I get that music is an individual taste.....but duuuuuude..
It's background music that's been on every single 'How To' video I've made, can't change it up now, haha. Seriously though, it's reduced to -20dB, and you're the first one to ever comment on it. Check your EQ settings ;)
To be honest, you could have bagpipes and accordions playing and Id still be watching!!!
Ace vid
SWEET BABY JESUS YES!!
