There is a new JoJo book that's about to come out called "how to travel the earth with jojo". It's a book that has information about how and when Araki got to the places depicted in the manga and anime series.( It will also feature the city that inspired Araki for the creation of Morioh). Also it will likely contain and some "hints" on how we can write sth similar to JoJo. (Like Araki's previous book manga in theory and practice)
The city that inspired araki with morioh was his home town i think, idk could be wrong

The PS2 game based on part 5 had a planned US and Europe release, under the name GioGio's Bizarre Adventure, but Capcom had some serious financial troubles going on to where they had to cancel some games, and that localization was one of them.
Rumor had it at the time as well that Araki wouldn't allow Capcom to change any of the characters' names, which if they didn't, that would have caused some major problems with some of the namesakes (like Prince). Other sources say that Prince was the main culprit.
Changing the names was how Capcom got the Stardust Crusaders games released outside of Japan. Obviously we see now that if Araki did have that stipulation, that he changed his stance on it.
Hopefully Viz Media could translate the light novels ones they get the main manga series done.

The Vento Aureo PS2 game is actually playable without knowing Japanese. Most of the menus are in English, and the Japanese parts are actually pretty obvious to deduce. The story and cinematics are faithful to the Vento Aureo manga, so if you read/watched it, you understand what happen in these. I really recommend playing it, it is a very nice game, although it is more a series of beat'em up bosses rather than a beat'em up stricto sensu. Using the Bruno's team special moves is very fun.
Eventually I’ll fully go through and see everything jojo has to offer including all the untranslated stuff

I remember getting a Japanese app store portal so I could play Diamond Records. I didn’t speak a lick of japanese and just used pictures to figure it out. OGs remember when the game was still a 3D beat-em-up. Towards the end of its life they made it this weird turn based game and just ruined it.
They added the 3D part back in eventually
I'm Italian and yeah we have all the manga translated, but will be cool if even some of the novels have an official translation. Yeah aren't canon but I'm curious to them for how some stories tells more about secondary characters or sequels of some of the canon parts.
Maybe here we can also have the Josuke & Hol Horse spinoff, but actually we haven't any info. Only the TSKR is available.

Beh io nn uso le scan online, se sono disponibili li compro fisici infatti ho i 2 volumi di Thus Spoke Kishibe Rohan (e molto probabilmente ne uscirà un terzo tra nn molto dato I recenti capitoli usciti) e tutti gli articoli scritti da Araki. Concordo sulla difficoltà di chi vuole leggere online, e anche io mastico abbastanza bene l'inglese, quindi secondo il mio modesto parere secondo me attendere la traduzione ufficiale è meglio. Per le novel o i content ancora nn tradotti purtroppo nn ci si può fare nulla... possiamo solo affidarci ai fansub inglesi.

I think it is a good idea to separate the TSKR stories into their own video. That way you can also talk about them a bit more without making the video longer, since there’s a lot to go over there already.
And because all we have right now is two full translations, three rough/partial ones, and practically nothing for the rest. You might be waiting a long while for anything more to come unfortunately

I'm French and bought today all of Phantom Blood (manga). It's just amazing but I already knew it AND yes everything is translated but sadly we don't have JoJonium. Part 1-8 are SOOOO tiny, it's like 9cm, next to another manga it's 10cm and JoJonium is like a massive book 15cm. Sad but cool at least we have it.

Love your videos man, it’s really commendable how passionate you are about the jojo series and how you always find things to turn into an interesting discussion video, but it does make me wonder your own personal ranking of the series I’d think it would make a fun video going over each of the parts and offering a in depth review
As a Swede who's just got into Jojo in June this year and I watched the anime on Netflix (with Japanese audio and Swedish subtitles of course) and I'm miffed of the fact that Netflix just straight out jumped into part 6 after that I watched whole part 3.
I hope and pray to God that we get Part 4 and 5 back...!

It’s always crazy to think about Jojo manga not been officially localized post part 5. I can understand why we don’t have every spinoff/lightnovel but the main manga?
JoJo, like lots and lots of manga that ran in Shounen Jump in the 80s and 90s, doesn't have an official translation because the market for the series was not big enough to capitalise on worldwide appeal. series like Dragon Ball, Sailor Moon, YuYu Hakusho, Slam Dunk!, Fist of the North Star, Neon Genesis Evangelion, etc. have had more accessible English translations for much longer due to their anime bringing them international attention. JoJo wasn't officially adapted in an anime series until 2012 (it was widely regarded as an unadaptable series, even with the 1993 and 2003 OVAs existing), hence, why JoJonium is still being released today. I agree, releasing in dense supervolumes instead of regular volume releases is really time consuming, though. I'm glad they chose to officially translate Stone Ocean as promotional material for the anime, because that means the series will be officially adapted more quickly than if we waited for each part to finish. wonder how they're gonna handle Steel Ball Run and JoJolion, though...
