The idea that a soul is like a proto-Stand could give more context to why attempting to forcibly awaken a Stand can be fatal, in Holly's case for example her soul was literally being forced out of her body in the form of a Stand
That actually makes perfect sense. It also explains Koichi’s unique case where he only had partial resolve due to his immaturity and why he didn’t heal by himself like most arrow victims and needed Josuke. His Stand evolved along with his resolve as he matured over the course of the part.

It's also something to note that the alien virus in stand arrows brings you close to death, possibly activating your stand ability through your resolve to stay alive.
That reason is why I don't actually think the main purpose of the virus is to create a stand I think it is meant to be fully lethal but that something within humans allows them to survive and that the stand is just a naturally occurring thing that the virus happens to create the perfect breeding ground for by truly testing there resolve with a guaranteed fatal experience.

honestly in terms of theory crafting this might have gotten to the point of being a bit of a stretch, not that it doesn't make sense. I look forward to seeing if later in the series this concept is given more evidence for or against it.
maybe if the user dies and still has a stand they keep their stand after death or maybe ghosts can just train to gain a stand (or get stabbed by the arrow) but..kira is a unique case
maybe its because of the alleyway and well you know killer queen getting grabbed by the hands and being shattered. maybe its the reason why he dosent possess a stand in the manga
I think Kira's father had used an arrow on himself before he died, keeping the arrow for safekeeping ,and then of course dying, which triggered his stand ability which tied into his resolve and guilt to keep living on through his post-mortem stand
Since a type of limbo exists in the series, would it be possible for Diavolo to enter into that same limbo after his death in Part 5? I’ve been thinking that after he fell into the river and possibly drowned while bleeding out, his death loop must’ve happened at a metaphysical level and that it’s his soul that’s being “reduced to zero.” A sign that says that the death loop isn’t happening in the real world is that when he was stabbed he did not have access to King Crimson. Like with Yoshikage Kira, stand abilities are either taken away or simply rendered redundant by greater spiritual entities.
This is a very interesting idea, I've been thinking about what happened to Diavolo ever since the anime aired. If Giorno went down into the sewers to look for Diavolo, would he find his stabbed body? Or did Diavolos body literally dissappear after being stabbed? Or possibly your idea, and Diavolo did bleed out and drown in the river, and what Trish was feeling was Diavolos soul still remaining in the world somewhere. I'd be curious to hear what Araki would say about this topic.
Diavolo, in my opinion, had his body killed when GER punched him, but as an extension of GE's "being punched by GE makes time extend for a really long time", he'd entered into a cycle of constantly being *in the process* of dying, but never truly being able to actually die, a mix of GER's ability of deleting cause and effect as well as its original ability, basically throwing Diavolo into his own personal nightmare realm for all eternity, subjected to being almost killed time and time again, and then being reset to the moment GER punched him, about to die, and then looping over and over again. The main point of contention is if what's occuring to Diavolo is something that actually is legitimately happening, or GER is making him perceive these things as happening or if he's being inserted into the point of view of people that are dying or have died in similar ways
Wonder if Mikataka somehow ascended to getting a stand wherever he came from, and landed on earth because of thats where most stand users are (stand gravity)
Maybe he was born as a stand user and since he didn't have any explanation for why he was different from everyone, he convinced himself he was an alien. Maybe his "allergy" to certain sounds is mostly just a nocebo (like the opposite of placebo, google it if you're confused).
One of the most common things people misunderstand is this video's topic, so it's appreciated that you made this to clarify for people who aren't paying close attention. The biggest one I hear about is Joseph at the end of Stardust Crusaders. They don't the mechanics at play. Honestly they should simply reread the part, or watch the anime, and pay closer attention to the fine details. From the beginning of Phantom Blood.
I believe this was the video that I have enjoyed the most so far. Realizing the connection between stands and the very souls of its users, even after life, is simply fantastic. The series has always played with the concepts of powers such as hamon, stands, spins, etc, and realizing how they are interconnected with the ancestors is summarily marvelous.
At least my interpretation is that stands hamon & spin are all different expressions of the same force just given different forms & thus different properties
I like jojo's supernatural phenomena more than others because it feels more real. like instead of other stories which explain them fully. and in a way that makes sense, jojo's fictional forces are largely unexplained not-well-understood phenomena. much like ones in our world. like how with a lot of quantum mechanics, the answer is "we dont know. its just kinda like that." jojo's spiritual forces are like that. probably because Araki related them to real things in quantum mechanics.
Hamon Beat this is such a good video to help explain what i love about jojo no one realizes. The reason why jojo is bizarre but not completely wacky random rule of cool as so many understand it as. Its internal consistency is tied to the concept that the spirit is just the residual particles that exist on a (rudimentary but suffice) quantum level. I could kiss you mate my god
I was literally just thinking about the different ghosts in JOJO earlier today! Mostly because I had just watched a reaction to Polnareff's death. Edit: Okay, very surprised you didn't mention Polnareff's ghost at all in this video...

I always enjoy these videos as it helps me better understand the world of Jojo. Such as Hamon's videos on Fate and King Crimson that gave me a better understanding of them as I only used to have a vague idea of what they were. Like yeah, you and I know what a ghost and what fate is. But within Jojo, such things mean something a bit different.
Remember when shapeshifting aztec gods of fitness with elemental powers were introduced in part 2, when it was left ambiguous before? Remember when the explicit concept of Heaven was introduced in part 6, even though it was ambiguous before? Aaraki tends to disambiguate.
Is there an explanation on how Stand users in GD st. prison didn't stumble in one of the ghost rooms? Do you need Emporio's permission to enter one of the ghost rooms?
I've viewed it as his Stand is what grants access to the Ghost Room. The mechanics of the room otherwise follow standard ghost rules, but his Stand is what makes it exist in the first place.
There was one thing that was intriguing in relation to this topic. In part 5, when Buccarati is about to pass on, (at least in the anime.) there is a part where you see clouds part to reveal the top of a golden spire with a cherub statue at the very top of it. Now I’m wondering, was that heaven? Or just a building in the background of Italy that symbolizes it? I hope I’m not crazy but does anyone know what I mean? lol
I’m sure that some form of a positive afterlife exists in jojo. Dunno if it’s the Christian/Catholic version of heaven but its definitely implied ghosts like Reimi and Bruno “go somewhere else” and don’t just disappear.
"Oh, so his stand burned the house down?" - "No, no, his stand's *name* is Burning Down The House." - "...because it burns down houses and turns them into ghosts?" - "No, no! Because it's a music thing, the author likes music a lot." - "...oh."

I might make a reddit post or something on all the theories I’ve thought of since I haven’t put any of them out there yet, I’ll come back and edit this comment with the link to it later if/when I post it but yeah o_0
Just realized, burning down the house is a way for emporio to see stand but not be an active member of the team. Basically he's the smokey of his part, except he actually does something
I enjoy how Araki approaches monsters. He defines a central mechanism, and then builds them out from there. Vampires are humans who have been awakened at the cost of becoming the antithesis of living energy; all of their powers come from this, as well as the shift in their personality. Ghosts are beings of mental energy, so the are invisible and can phase through matter. But without a body, they are literally damaged by intentions (walking into them) and cannot enter rooms or buildings without permission. It gives these beings a level of consistency, as if they are real. It fits well into Araki’s intentions of basically creating explanations for the supernatural
I'm not sure why, but I was always under the impression that Mista's encounter with Rolling Stones was the reason Bucciaratti remained "alive"; i.e. he changed Bucciaratti's fate through the interaction with that Stand, meaning that Bucciaratti was not fated to die the first time King Crimson fatally wounded him, and thus was able to keep living despite Giorno being unable to fully bring him back to life. I suppose I stand corrected, though.
I always understood this to be the case as well. The first form of the stone was his fated death against Diavolo, but Mista changing it altered the nature of his death, allowing him to cling on just a bit longer- as well as condemning some of his team to death in the process. But yeah I guess not.
@@carloscauan7967 Yeah, I got that much - but it seemed to me that there was some kind of exchange performed. Bucciaratti's life was extended, in exchange for the deaths of the other two. They're sleeping slaves to Fate, they really have no say over whether they live or die. Hence my read of it was that Diavolo uses King Crimson to cheat Fate and kill Bucciaratti, but Fate decrees that Bucciaratti must survive for longer due to that exchange of lives, and so he does. It always struck me as somewhat up to interpretation, at least.
My interpretation of that arc was similar, as I understood it, Rolling Stone gives you a more "Meaningful Death", it finds people who are going to die worthless deaths, and adds a positive outcome to their fated demise. Bucciarati was always going to die against Diavolo, and in that arc, it was Fugo who was going to meet Giorno, and most likely, kill him, a completly different outcome to that of Bucciarati meeting Giorno, as Fugo didn't have any intention of betraying the boss. So, the story without Giorno would have concluded on Diavolo killing Bucciarati and Trish, and that was it, the end of it. It's unclear what kind of "Positive" outcome would have been created if Rolling Stones came in contact with Bucciarati, maybe the mission to find Giorno would have been cancelled, and the gang would go on to get better positions in the association, everybody simply lives "better" more comfortable lifes. However, by Mista using Gravity to "destroy" Rolling Stones, a third path was created, one, of much sacrifice and death, but of plenty of positive outcomes as well. Is important to note that none of those 3 Deaths were "worthless" they all served a greater purpose that led to the defeat of Diavolo, the greates enemy of the Gang and of Fate it self. Trish, Giorno, Mista, Fugo, and even the rest of Italy, now live better lifes thanks to this outcome.
@@chlorophyll1767 If Bruno fatefully died during his first encounter with Diavolo, the rest of the team would likely give up, causing Abbachio and Narancia to never die because of their disloyalty to the boss. Had Mista never stopped Rolling Stone Narancia and Abbachio would be alive yes, but Diavolo would also still be running his drug empire.
This really makes sense now that i think about it. As people need determination to be able to become Stand users, they also need it for their soul to come back if they happen to be revived, and i think that they're both pretty much the same case. Both cases are just having your soul out of your body, depending on how tied are they by your determination and the state of your body. Being determined and having a functional body means you can go back at any time, which makes stands possible. If you lack only determination, you cannot have a Stand, and if it's forced on you, it's like tearing your soul apart. If you lack only a functional body, you only need it to be healed to revive, and if you force it, your body won't really properly receive you as it cannot support you anymore.
I wonder, since well-trained Hamon can become a Stand like Hermit Purple, if a user on the level of say Master Tonpetty, who could read the Ripple of one's life, can see ghosts?
So this may be a somewhat stupid question while at the same time a potential idea for a separate video. Admittedly Anubis is my favorite stand, kinda simp for him lol. But im curious if youd consider him an independent stand that has always had his own personality or just gained a consciousness through his users death. If this is a question worth asking, either or this brings up the idea how different are stand identities from their users? Koichi’s Echo seems pretty distinct, while Golden Experience requiem acts exactly like Giorno just hiding it from him. Most important is Death 13, despite being what seems like a controlled stand he often refers to mannish baby as his “stand user,” probably not a big deal but im curious about sentient stands. White Snake appears to have a distinct personality as well from Pucci.
Anubis is a Bound Stand attached to a sword. He is probably acting like Notorious B.I.G. in that he does things due to a very strong motive that keeps him in existence despite his user's death. Lots of Stands have some way of communicating separate from their user. Anubis is just a bit more developed in that way.
Stands with personalitys, like Echoes Act 3 and White Snake, express the "true" feelings of their users, that's why Echoes insults people and why White Snake is so evil, and why the Bullets of Sex Pistols bully Number 5 (who is in reality Number 4). The one Stand that seems to trully have it's own personality is Dragon's Dream, since it's personality come from the concept of Feng Shui and not from his user.
12:37 the best way, I would explain it at least at this point in the video is that there are rare cases where pieces of the soul are inherited, causing said, psychic connections although most of the time it is usually the soul form from the spiritual energy mentioned before
Im kinda curious what if they explored emporios ability with ghost rooms more, like if you opened a window would it be surrounded by ghost hands or end up spitting you back into the room ala portal where it just puts you back in through a different entryway or window
the concept of Stand users are basically normal people who have talent to touch/awoken their own soul. so strong that it can be manifested out is making a perfect sense to me. arrows are made to push that "talent" so they can use manifest their soul. So stands are basically a powerful souls coming out of a talented destined person. And ghost (object, person, ect) are basically stands, but have no powers. stands are just a way to specialize a soul that is so strong it have powets
have you done a video on all the non-stand abilities in jojo? ex. Donavan from part 2, Wired Beck (who i think is a vampier), the rock humans from part 8, sandman from part 7, etc.
One idea I have is that a stand can either be somebody who chooses to support a person after their death and take the form of a stand. For example Jotaro’s Star Platinum has a striking look to Johnathan. Maybe he came back to stop Dio. Or it could just be part of the user’s soul put into form separate from the rest of their soul in some cases.
Ever since the first time I read that Extras #3 chapter in Steel Ball Run about 10 years ago, I got stuck with the idea of the relation of stands with other things) I got several theories born from that chapter)
I always saw Yoshihiro as a Stand from a deceased user since he is technically still bound by his ability Atom Heart Father, just now unable to trap anyone else thanks to the fight with Jotaro and Josuke (and possibly the camera being destroyed, my memory is hazy on if Jotaro/Josuke broke the camera after the fight). It does have it's own contradictions like Yoshihiro being able to interact with the world outside of his self portrait such as with his clothing thread and the arrow.
They are very interesting topic in Jojo !!! Thank you for making this Video! I believe Araki believes in Ghost Like many of US and you can See it in His Work. He actually is Close to the Truth with it. I wonder If He can Make a jojo in the Ghost World or something Like that. Also he does Ghost who are from heaven but He never did any from Hell. Star Platinum Looks like a jinny/ Gin from Aladdin!!!! I believe He can make a Jojo only in Ghost World. In Japan and in America they believe in Ghost many People and maybe He had a Experience thats why He Likes them to use so much. Also a Jojo in the Stand World would be amazing.
Up until the introduction of Reimi, no one really knew how stands and ghosts work out. Especially when Rohan used Heaven's Door on her and it still worked. Before that, I only thought that stands work only against other stands and humans (whether a stand user or not). But since stands are also referred to as "punchy ghosts" maybe that should provide an insight as to why they can interact with such. 😂😂😂
So, if the soul is a proto-stand, does that mean that a human's (or animal's) ghost is actually their old stand? It would explain why Kira's ghost lost access to Killer Queen, because he IS Killer Queen. Also would mean the Stand's shape is the shape of their soul, thus why even similar stands are still somewhat different - because their users are different even if very alike, like Dio/Diego and the two Kiras. But would that make ghost locations related to absorbing the energy of many stand users around? Would a ghost location sorta work like a proto-"blessing of the Earth"? Either way, there may be a relation why two of the three locations we have being related to so many Stand Users, and the third we don't have much info to tell?
I still think that Josuke's father simply decided (probably subconsciously) to just pass on. He was a old man who lived a happy life, and even if he died a violent death, he could move on in peace because he knew that Morioh had still a Golden Heart who would right the wrongs of evil.
Would you make a video about Feng Shui? Dragons's Dream the stand seems like an evolution of the idea of other supernatural abilities granting stands, and how users may have one but not realize it at first. Because that stand acts in a neutral fashion it implies that the only part of the stand that is unique to its user is the arm rip mechanic. While the main function is universal, like Hammon's breathing. It's up to the individual to master it.
Ponareff was an interesting ghost in part 5 since he was kind of killed at the moment Silver Chariot Requiem went off but unlike Bucciarati who moved on after SCR was destroyed, Polnareff remained within the turtle.
My idea is that ghost stands, i.e. stands that persist even if their users have died with lingering feelings, usually negative, until killed like Atom Heart Father, or retired or, somewhat immobilised, like Notorious BIG. Works if the user stabs their stand with an arrow, but are killed before it is utilised.
I have a video idea involving some of the biggest JoJo misconceptions. Maybe try to tell the community the correct spellings of character names. Bucciaratti vs Buccialatti, Wamuu vs Wham, Straizo vs Straits, Guess vs Gwess, Avdol vs Abdul, etc. I would appreciate this one, personally, but it might be difficult.
Possible idea for a video. There is one entity in Jojo world that I can't really understand - Stray Cat. As far as I know, it originated from a body of a dead cat (so maybe it's partially ghost?), physically it's some plant-animal hybryd, and maybe has a stand aspect, due to air control ability (although Hayato could see it). Is there any explanation of Stray Cat origins and nature? I couldn't find any.
Hayato could only see stray cat due to him being a physical plant at the end of the day, he can't really see the air bombs and nobody really can except for like Kira when he uses his air as a bomb and even then i don't think Kira can see it, he just aimed in a general direction and hoped for the best.
Personally, I think whether or not someone can come back after death has less to do with their resolve, and more to do with their personal wishes. Like it technically DOES have something to do with resolve, but about as much as resisting the temptation to eat a cake even though you know you can and not get caught. For example, in Josuke's grandpa's case, I have a feeling he simply didn't feel like coming back. He felt he led a full life and a second chance would have less meaning than his own death. He seemed like the type who would WANT to pass on. In the case of Okuyasu and Joseph, they both wanted to come back. For Joseph it was likely because he had a whole lot of unfinished business (such as Josuke), and for Okuyasu he was just not ready to pass on yet, he's still a teenager after all and has his whole life ahead of him. In Bruno's case, I think the reason he became a zombie is because he was a walking contradiction: more than ready to, even *expecting* to die over this journey, and yet needing to live long enough to ensure it is successful. As such he only half came back; just enough to complete his mission, and then pass on. My main support for this is the case of Reimi... She was just a normal teenage girl, and yet she was able to remain after death. She couldn't have had THAT strong of a resolve, not yet anyway. Yet she was able to stay (granted, in a limited area, like most ghosts who haunt). I believe if her body was healed like everyone else mentioned here, she too would've come back, but she was never given that chance, hence why she ended up haunting the area she died in. Granted this is all speculation based more on their characters then on the established rules of the series, but it probably makes sense.
Reimi seemed to be more stuck in the case of how most ghost live in the point of resolve for her murder. Much like other ghost media she stayed because of the resentment of being murdered so young creating the limbo state of how she kept going more aligned with ghost stories [which are explored more in the Rohan spin off and in a bonus drama cd for part 4]. Okayasu and Joseph seemed to have the difference of vessels to come back to but with enough resolve to just keep living thus there not being a reason to pass on, while Bruno resolve only made peace to fulfill his promise to Giorno and finish what he had started by promosing to protect Trish [again for Bruno his team/found family was the only thing that mattered for his resolve to protect]. Reimi's case didn't have a body as it wasn't resorted with a stand and then burried making the alley as her 'body' again open only to few people to see. All of this differs from the grandpa because he didn't know he was murdered and you could argue given being a cop assumed he would die in a chance like that because of work. There was no resolve to bring him back because he had no knowledge that it was murder to create that resentment unlike Reimi and to him there was nothing abnormal because he didn't know of stands or what the future would hold to keep him alive.

There are theories that suggests he comes from the same place as the stand virus meteorite, which kinda make sense
Maybe he was born as a stand user and since he didn't have any explanation for why he was different from everyone, he convinced himself he was an alien. Maybe his "allergy" to certain sounds is mostly just a nocebo (like the opposite of placebo, google it if you're confused).
I'm still convinced he's just a wacko who _lives_ to screw with people.
I never knew Kira had a spin off that took place after part 4. This is truly awesome and I need to check it out.
wait until you find out about crazy diamonds demonic heartbreak
I always liked to think Bruno died during the time skip, so he never really properly died. It was a personal joke to say that Bruno "forgot he died".
every hamon has its beat
Every golden ratio has a spin
Referring to souls and resolve as mechanics is hilarious
If you can tech a thing its considered a mechanic XD
Off-topic but I misread your username as BackroomsBDSM lmao
@@JaVWS maybe I should rebrand to that
@@backroomsdbm i think you mean ""MECHANISM"
One of the most common things people misunderstand is this video's topic, so it's appreciated that you made this to clarify for people who aren't paying close attention.
The biggest one I hear about is Joseph at the end of Stardust Crusaders. They don't the mechanics at play. Honestly they should simply reread the part, or watch the anime, and pay closer attention to the fine details. From the beginning of Phantom Blood.
This is my favorite explanations of the underlying supernatural principles of stuff in jojo
You’re honestly the best RUclipsr when it comes to jojo content and you’re honestly one that can understand jojo. You deserve my sub.
I hate it when a ghost bullet destroys my ghost computer while i do ghost research with me suffering from bad ghost memory.
I like jojo's supernatural phenomena more than others because it feels more real. like instead of other stories which explain them fully. and in a way that makes sense, jojo's fictional forces are largely unexplained not-well-understood phenomena. much like ones in our world. like how with a lot of quantum mechanics, the answer is "we dont know. its just kinda like that." jojo's spiritual forces are like that. probably because Araki related them to real things in quantum mechanics.
a good video topic to be honest because a lot of people call situations with ghosts ass pulls or araki forgot
Bro literally just seeing the panels of okayasu seeing his brother in the afterlife and then coming back made me cry😭
I was literally just thinking about the different ghosts in JOJO earlier today!
Mostly because I had just watched a reaction to Polnareff's death.
Edit: Okay, very surprised you didn't mention Polnareff's ghost at all in this video...

Hamon Beat can't the be-all-end-all of every single JoJo tidbit. I think we could have even more JoJotubers like him. So many here other than him seem to be, like, just theorists on common JoJo topics or meme-junkies. Gotten tiring, imo
@@GalekC its sad that hamon beats like the only one who talks about the jojo world and lore, most jojo creators do only theories and memes yeah.
Even sadder is how disconnected the jojo content creators are, like they dont even share infos or talk to each other
From what I remember the turtle died and Polnareff's soul became the owner of the body
@@mr.andrew7820 no, after the battle with Diavolo his soul would go to afterlife because the soul of tortoise returned, but he was quick enough to get sucked into tortoise stand, and now he is in the key for how long he wants or when the tortoise will die
I always found weird when ghosts were introduced in Part 4 since it was mostly ambiguous before
Remember when shapeshifting aztec gods of fitness with elemental powers were introduced in part 2, when it was left ambiguous before? Remember when the explicit concept of Heaven was introduced in part 6, even though it was ambiguous before? Aaraki tends to disambiguate.
hell yeah, keep up the great content
ive already read the dead mans question long but ago i never realized hamon beats pfp was kira from dead mans questions

This is the earliest I've been to a hamon beat video
Nothing like a HB video early in the morning 😊
Is there an explanation on how Stand users in GD st. prison didn't stumble in one of the ghost rooms? Do you need Emporio's permission to enter one of the ghost rooms?
I dont believe you need Access maybe He can choose it random the entrance and thats how Nobody ever touched it
I think he was just very careful about hiding the entrances.
I've viewed it as his Stand is what grants access to the Ghost Room. The mechanics of the room otherwise follow standard ghost rules, but his Stand is what makes it exist in the first place.
nah, miu miu enter the room without permission
it's a tiny crack in the wall to most stand users and thus, they ignore it or don't care
"This was a vengeful spirit that remained in the world to seek revenge"
I never could've seen it coming
YES I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS
A video about popular Jojo theories that aren't confirmed but are well structured would be cool.
Woah, me and my brother were talking about this topic today and then I saw your video... how spooky
@Hamon Beat Your The Best!!
glad you talking abot you profile pic finaly
Wait, so if ghost weapons are dangerous to ghosts and stands are a type of ghost...
Emporio could've shot MiH
he couldn't move for like the whole time because of Fate, after that tho he should have totally did it
There was one thing that was intriguing in relation to this topic. I hope I’m not crazy but does anyone know what I mean? lol
Its maybe His Personal heaven
@@Daniel-lq5qq I can see that :)
I mean, even if It's a different universe there is a angel in part 7(the Guardian of the Head)
I’m sure that some form of a positive afterlife exists in jojo. Dunno if it’s the Christian/Catholic version of heaven but its definitely implied ghosts like Reimi and Bruno “go somewhere else” and don’t just disappear.
@@hidden_animator522 Jesus is a character in part 7
"Oh, so his stand burned the house down?" - "No, no, his stand's *name* is Burning Down The House." - "...because it burns down houses and turns them into ghosts?" - "No, no! Because it's a music thing, the author likes music a lot." - "...oh."
Holy shi- I just came up with ENORMUS theories after just watching this, I feel enlightened, like I’ve just figured out all of JoJo’s biggest mysteries.
When he was describing how the ghostly places are between two objects I immediately thought of Funny Valentine
The point of that arc was to say that Mista's attempt to prevent Bucciarati's death only indirectly caused Narancia and Abbacchio to die as well.
Personal love for DMQ Kira outfit. Hope it gets added to ASBR
I wonder, since well-trained Hamon can become a Stand like Hermit Purple, if a user on the level of say Master Tonpetty, who could read the Ripple of one's life, can see ghosts?
I think tonpetty would basically get a much stronger version of hermit purple, in which case yes, he would see stands.
Oh boy! A Hamon Beat video at this hour? You should change your name to Santa because Christmas has come early!
She's up there, Hamon Beat!
love ur vids
Ghost lore is one of my favorite things in Jojo, it'd be great if we got more chapters of DMQ in the future
12:37 the best way, I would explain it at least at this point in the video is that there are rare cases where pieces of the soul are inherited, causing said, psychic connections although most of the time it is usually the soul form from the spiritual energy mentioned before
Ok so this was a great video!!
Fantastic video!!
I wanna see Hamon beat make a video dedicated to the Kars novel if he hasn’t already
Ngl you're intro looks like it was made 6 years ago, still amazing
Im kinda curious what if they explored emporios ability with ghost rooms more, like if you opened a window would it be surrounded by ghost hands or end up spitting you back into the room ala portal where it just puts you back in through a different entryway or window
It would prolly just deposit you outside of the Stand in an appropriate relative location, possibly high up
@@Gloomdrake Winchester house but with Emporio, would be a massive maze
This is a very interesting video
the concept of Stand users are basically normal people who have talent to touch/awoken their own soul. so strong that it can be manifested out is making a perfect sense to me. arrows are made to push that "talent" so they can use manifest their soul.
I don't think he did, would be interesting to do tho. Like Robinson bug ability
Ever since the first time I read that Extras #3 chapter in Steel Ball Run about 10 years ago, I got stuck with the idea of the relation of stands with other things)
I got several theories born from that chapter)
I always saw Yoshihiro as a Stand from a deceased user since he is technically still bound by his ability Atom Heart Father, just now unable to trap anyone else thanks to the fight with Jotaro and Josuke (and possibly the camera being destroyed, my memory is hazy on if Jotaro/Josuke broke the camera after the fight). It does have it's own contradictions like Yoshihiro being able to interact with the world outside of his self portrait such as with his clothing thread and the arrow.
damn. I really hope araki develops these more in TJL. we still know next to nothing about how any of the power systems work
I like the thought of there being a ghost version of killer queen somewhere, just being a 6 foot tall cat.
Stands can probably also touch ghosts that you cant touch yourself
This could also use more folklore beings and legends from different countries
ayy another video!
Great video, answered a lot of questions I had. Now we just need to find out why Arnold's neck is still bleeding after 15 years.
fire video
You are the best
I still think that Josuke's father simply decided (probably subconsciously) to just pass on.
He was a old man who lived a happy life, and even if he died a violent death, he could move on in peace because he knew that Morioh had still a Golden Heart who would right the wrongs of evil.
You mean Joseph? Just joking lol
YOOOO another vid ˄w˄

Hamon beat video Hamon beat video
I literally read dead man's questions and asked myself about how ghosts work 4 hours before this video released the fuck
You're amazing
1:58 So Okuyasu died and just said "Not yet dawg" and just started living again? What a chad.
Black Sabbath also deals with this association. Taking the old man’s soul results in just that, but attacking giorno brings out gold experience.
Bruno himself was the golden wind
Possible idea for a video. There is one entity in Jojo world that I can't really understand - Stray Cat. As far as I know, it originated from a body of a dead cat (so maybe it's partially ghost?), physically it's some plant-animal hybryd, and maybe has a stand aspect, due to air control ability (although Hayato could see it). Is there any explanation of Stray Cat origins and nature? I couldn't find any.
Stray Cat has 2 ability : The first is reincarnating its user ( Tama) in a plant, the second is, when the user is a plant, to shoot air bubble
I wish I knew more about Polnareff post part 5
