I’ve realized that Robyn has tried taking over ALL the wives’ roles:
-No need for Christine for childcare, she will hire someone
-No need for Meri’s traditional thanksgiving turkey, Robyn wants to make it.
-Meri was the family photographer, essentially. Robyn took that over too.
-CFO for MSWC? Not the long-standing family accountant, no. Of course, that’s Robyn’s role now. 🙄
She has always wanted the money but never wanted to work for it. I am the oldest of 6 kids, and we were living in a one bedroom house, and my mother worked a full-time job. She found the time to put a meal on the table each day, clean the house, and wash clothes, and we never had a nanny. We all grew up with values, graduated from school, worked full-time jobs, had kids, and brought a house all on our own. None of us ever asked anybody for money as we knew if we wanted anything, we had to pay for it are self. Robin is a lazy, selfish woman and will never change.
I just realized something, Robyn is the perfect name for her. Her parents must have known she had the ability to "rob" people of their love, mentality, and, most of all, money.😆

The other wives didn’t want to do this. They had their own things to do. Kody coerced the wives, to take the load off of Robyn so she could keep making Kody her best customer. She needed these women to do the business bc she has no idea how to run a business. And obviously no idea how to design. She just wanted to own and reap the cash. It was so obvious! She didn’t offer helping the other wives in their ventures but expected them to jump on hers. Just baffling!
The business was never going to work simply because the product they were selling was not geared toward the market they were selling too, add to that, Robyn really wasn't passionate about it, she was passionate about not working and having money to spend, if Robyn had wanted this she could have made it happen without the OG 3, the reality is Robyn was not in this for the sister wives, she was not in it because she was passionate about it, she was selfish, Kody was selfish , not only the business but the family was doomed and that is why it didn't happen.
Yes, it was all about the money for Kody and Robyn. The other wives were supposed to do all the work and they would have all the benefits...
If you make money with a business you put that money into the business... not for sobyns and grotexs..spending spree
Well and the fact that Robin has awful tacky taste
Kody wants a "get rich quick" scheme..
I see it like this: Robyn does seem to treat her personal relationships as a business transaction. Imagine calling your husband your "best customer". Robyn did not bring any value to the family. So for the family, talking about transactional, adding her to their brood was an extra burden. So Robyn sees relationships as transactional, as long as it benefits her. If she needs to invest, then suddenly that is unfair. 🤯 No wonder the OG3 dipped from this mess
Listening to this discussion, it is clear that the Brown family got a huge blessing when the venture capitalists didn't return their calls. If they had gotten that money, they'd be sitting in jail like the Chrisleys.
I promise this is my last word, in the same season 7, there is an episode after they do get some money for the business where the wives throw a party for King Kody because he deserves it right? He sits in a chair with his crown as each family member comes up one by one and praises him for moving them to Vegas, he keeps a pretty solemn face until Robyn comes up to speak and then he smiles ear to ear, something to pay attention too, He also does this at the shark tank meeting when Christine was talking up Robyn, I know he was already treating her as his only wife, to me it is so obvious it's sickening.
Dont forget Janelle wanted to do a different business and Robyn & Kody shot her down and went with Robyn’s business idea.

Janelle would have been the success story,Janelle would have taken the weight off is my best guess about her. You would go into the gym and see Janelle in the gym every day, the gym is for ordinary folks, women working out together etc

Good point. I agree. Just because the owner is overweight, doesn’t mean people wouldn’t join the gym. Plus it would also appeal to those who themselves need to lose weight. As you said, Janelle would probably lose weight herself working at the gym as opposed to the more sedentary work of an accountant (if that’s the field she was in).

Kody , Robyn and Christine wanted a business plan from Meri because she wanted to BORROW 40k..Robyn had no business plan asking for 2.5 mil..Janelle was mad because she was working the numbers but Robyn was getting the title for Janelle's work. Robyn was going to be in charge of the jewelry money and Meri specifically whispered to Robyn...You Will Not Be Making Decisions of my Bed and Breakfast. Meri knew Robyn was going to try and benefit from Meri's business.
Kody doesn't understand the big words he uses. He's the fool who doesn't know he's a fool.
lol when Kody said he’s not asking for a loan I was like wow a literal cash grab. Clowning like he never clowned before
Robin wanted the money to give her breathing room or something. When you take $ from investors you actually need to do the opposite and hustle. Can you imagine going on Shark Tank and saying I need capital so I can relax???
Janelle was taking care of the money until Sobin convinced Kody that the 2 of them could also do it or should I say spend it, that is also when Janelle was seeing the money leaving the account without the group talking about it.
I can’t believe Janelle didn’t balk at that.
I think Robyn believed they would launch the online store and the orders would start rolling in -- the business would basically "run itself" and she'd be swimming in money. She is so naive and, frankly, as lazy as the day is long.
Technically the jewelry should have sold based on the people watching the show. The 'company' created subpar jewelry which did not sell. Other reality stars have made money with products they have allegedly created. Think TLC has been providing more support then previously believed.
@@user-hs7kp8bb9f Agreed. I think she figured the jewelry business would be an automatic slam dunk because of the popularity of the show. But no one wanted to buy ugly, overpriced junk. They clearly didn't understand that celebrity alone doesn't sell merchandise.
It was basically RUclips channel merchandise. I suspect that Kody wanted it not to sold cheap. Thinking more pricey more money. Honestly they could have made more selling tshirts and mugs. Doesn’t really matter he pisses away money. Why they didn’t have 4 fully paid for homes at the end of Vegas years I do not know. I think the new rings, art, etc.. is to spend down the money on things that depreciate in value in case AZ audits to give the rest their assets he has been attached to.

I couldn't believe when she told Kody that she wouldn't be able to have another kid as she was working to much and didn't have the time. You have to be kidding me as she has never had a job other than spend the other wives' money.
And she’s working so hard?! Doing what? Making designs? She needed these women to do it all. She had no idea where to start.
They thought these people were just going to hand them a half a million dollars because they had a reality tv show. When it didn't happen, the show absolutely just dropped the story line like a hot potato. The entire thing was an embarrassment. I loved where Kody and Robyn thought they were going to have an empire!
I was embarrassed for them. I felt Janelle was very embarrassed during the transaction. She spoke with no enthusiasm.
Yup, Robyn already dreaming of her empire by doing less work.
James u r spot on, I'm sure anyone with a brain would want the brainiacc accountant Janelle handling the money! F that irresponsible Robbems over there that came into a family with $32,000.00 debt!!! She can't handle a business, she can't even do a family Budget!
She can't even care for her own kids even though she doesn't have a job. So what is it that she does all day?! She wanted investors so she could work less. When in reality if you have investors, you need to produce or they take the entire business! Sobyn is a very lazy person and a selfish person. She would take all the money from the investors, spend it on shopping, ugly art, and hideous jewelry. The one thing she won't do is put the money back into the business so it can grow. Sobyn is very selfish. It's scary that she's the one that would choose who gets what if something happens to kody. I think meri would have 100000000% been equal in the distribution of assets if kidy dies. Snobyn will take everything and guarantee she wouldn't give anything to anyone of the og3 or og13 people. She will keep everything and give her kids everything. What sobyn won't do is give anyone outside of her house a dime! She may give mykelti something, but that's it. Janelle was right to worry about the division of assets bc it will not be equal if snobyn is in charge

Oh she is GREAT with money. She was able to save grocery money to go to Hawaii (by denying the OG13 food and sending her kids to Christine’s house to eat) 🤬

That was the problem the other women should have spoken up and told her sorry we don't want to do this as we have other things we want to do. If Robin and Kody didn't like this all well. Maybe if they spoke up, they all would have left sooner. These women were afraid of Kody.
It’s the indoctrination. They are not allowed to speak their mind. Like Christine said about Robyn talking to Kody like she did, she didn’t know she could do that. The wives should have said,” this is how we will help you Robyn” Christine will take care of your kids. Janelle and Meri will continue to work for the family and you can focus on getting your dream off the ground. And then we all will reap from it.
Robin they trust us… All of us in unison. No we don’t.
I don’t understand how Robin thinks if she would’ve gotten the money she would’ve had more time. No that money would mean you’re working harder consistently every day.

I remember laughing when i saw the sharktank episode. I thought nobody is dumb enough to just give 2.5 mil. Then kotex wondering why the money never went into the account and they didn't hear from them. They weren't giving jack cuz there was nothing in it for them. The tlc contract wouldn't let investors own the rights to sisterwives.
It's not viable because Robyn's creations are lacking in design elements and /or humor. Robyn can't even curate a collection. Then you add to the fact that she has no personality and lies compulsively?
In the clip Robin talks over Janell/people know us and our values/not everyone wanted to wear jewelry that promotes a religious belief that is in the public as AB to women and children/even people in their communities weren’t buying jewelry from them 😢
Why would anyone invest with them when they've proven they cannot manage money they already have?

That jewelry business that sister wives had was a joke. I would never buy jewelry connected to living a polygamy life. What I have seen as far as the jewelry being designed by them was trash as you can buy better jewelry at Kohls that is cheaper. Robin had no interest in that business and just wanted the other women to do all the work.
James, it looks like the other video is up now. I missed that live and when I was looking for it, it was no longer visible, then I saw this 1 pop up but I now see the other video is back up. So maybe they took it to see if anything was wrong, but put it back up. Who knows, but I'll check that 1 out after this 1 finishes 😂🥵

A pyramid scheme like Lularoe makes their money primarily by recruiting and selling to the people who will be selling. Money isn't made by selling crappy leggings alone. You have to recruit. That's what makes it different from a regular business.
Amway is even worse. They make the bulk of their money selling their motivational tapes. Not from selling products.

MSW closet would have worked, only they were greedy and way overpriced everything. Had they priced things under $100 per piece, they would have sold a lot more than they did, but then poor, lazy, Sobbyn, didn't want to get a paper cut printing labels and sending things out. Right from the get go, I didn't like her. Something was off.

Obviously Meri was not being truthful about her dream to finish college. She is independent now and has plenty of money for college. But she hasn’t attempted.
I wonder if she realizes that she can make tons and tons more money with her MLMs than working with troubled youth, so that’s why? Not sure.
