I'm curious what it would take for that to happen. Ways to delay the seekers perhaps along with a longer game as it seems that runners get caught within a day. Sam Hiding out in Adams first Hiding spot from Season 9 is great trolling, also I loved the Fact that you finally got to Switzerland in a Tag season, and the fact that you reused some of the Music you used in Season 9...
Hide and seek in Switzerland was my favourite season so loved the ending. Would love to see a second run of that game. Maybe that's what they're doing in Japan
Congrats on yet another amazing season. I absolutely love this show. As for the final, the only small thing I would have done different if I were Sam, would have been go come back down the castle, and hide on the other side, forcing the others to climb all the way up there and not find anyone. I think that would have been a nice little touch.
It would be cool to see a different format in Europe, where you would travel further distances. Something like a race from Spain to Finland or a race to visit the most cities. Something where you could use more high-speed trains and explore more new countries. The tag and hide and seek seasons are getting a little bit boring because you usually don't get very far from the starting point and never reach any of the destinations.
@@foryoutube9532 wish it wasn't Japan again. Seriously this reeks of 'world tour/!" bs. US, Europe, Australia, and Japan. Always the same limited as fuck shit. Korea and Singapore have good enough infrastructure - Singapore while small can be done in a capture the territory way, we've not seen that format in a while. Tag or Race been the last few.
There is a weak spot in European train travel, in that trains that cross countries are less frequent. So if you ever play this game, it's a genuine strategy to see if you can cross a border I feel. Within a country, trains are super frequent. Trains that cross a border... that's less frequent.
Frequency depends on demand, mainly commuters. There are less Cross border commuters, so you are right, but there are also many other Connections with less commuters, especially If IT is not between major cities.
@@boonsterboom3470 I agree to a certain degree. Not to get too political, it’s a fun channel after all, but train companies tend to prefer their own (national) schedule and have those “international trains by other companies” be second. If TrenItalia wants to cross the border to Switzerland, SBB needs to make room on the the tracks on their side and it’s packed already. Same goes if SBB was the operator riding on TrenItalia tracks
It's not a 'weak' spot, and it's not some sort of 'preference' as you say it. Very weird and typical Irish mindset to think that all countries are interchangeable and be shocked that frequency of commuting within a country is more than across different countries. It's not nationalistic bias mate.

One thing these videos are missing is a local time graphic because I keep losing track of how much time is left in the day. When I saw the Matterhorn-Gotthard train I thought for a moment that Sam was trying to get to Zermatt, his destination over the first two tag seasons, which IMO would've been even cooler, although clearly infeasible in the remaining time. Would love to see a Scotland Yard style season in the future. One runner and some chasers, a limited area, and the runner just attempts to not get caught for the longest time (without staying in one place like in Hide and Seek and without having a specific location to get to like in Tag).
Y'all ever thought about playing an indefinite game where you must reach your end point instead of just being in the goal region at the end? I know that probably has some hurdles and would make a potentially much longer season but I guarantee we'd love it
They could make the game 5 days instead of 3 or whatever, but I think they specifically make it so the odds of anyone actually reaching their destination is fairly low.
Poetic ending there. I've really enjoyed Jet Lag for the past 11 seasons and long may it continue. I really hope that there's a runback of some of the more elaborate ones such as circumnavigation or ones in countries you haven't been to yet, but I'm still excited to see a return to a familiar place in Season 12.
So happy for Sam finally winning!!! Routing for him every Time (Ben and Adam you are too strong but I love U too!!!!) very excited for the next Season!
If there is ever a third time they get to this tower, the person who is chased needs to let himself be seen on top as the others approach, get down fast, hide behind the tower for the tracker to be accurate and then run away fast as the others go up. This won't likely be advantageous or help the chased get away but it would be super funny
@@allisonjuno7654 i feel like the other way would be unfair to whoever goes first. a compromise could be to just not have the game end immediately after 72 hours, but to allow whoever is running when time expires to finish their current run, then call the game based on where they end up.

41:45 Ben hoping for Sam’s train to fall into Lake Como and the cut to Sam trying to look for Lake Como is just pure gold😂
I freaking knew it that sam would go to that castle for the memes
that one guy spoiled it to me with his "little" hint
I though it would be the forest 😭

I think that would have been a nice little touch.
lol that would have been insanely funny
It would be cool to see a different format in Europe, where you would travel further distances. Something like a race from Spain to Finland or a race to visit the most cities. Something where you could use more high-speed trains and explore more new countries. The tag and hide and seek seasons are getting a little bit boring because you usually don't get very far from the starting point and never reach any of the destinations.
I think that 3 seasons and 1 win each would indeed be a fine conclusion for the tag across europe
Back to Japan! I'm hyped for season 12 already
Yesss
Too much weeb shit
@@spelunkyboynot enough weeb shit
I thought it was south korea
Same goes if SBB was the operator riding on TrenItalia tracks
ruclips.net/video/Oxz4oY0T85Y/видео.html
@@MrEoinkeane It is getting better however, for example you can go from Barcelona to Madrid on SNCF now.
It's not a 'weak' spot, and it's not some sort of 'preference' as you say it.
Very weird and typical Irish mindset to think that all countries are interchangeable and be shocked that frequency of commuting within a country is more than across different countries.
It's not nationalistic bias mate.
He may not've won, but this was a big season for us Adam stans
I don’t know what’s crazier, Ben’s quote at 38:09 or the way Adam looked at him after saying said quote
This is the best episode of the season, I like the moment Adam tricked them in Padova again. Ben having found his cards on the ground from two days earlier is hilarious. Sam's reaction to the "Eat this Card" Card is priceless. I like how they went back not only to Castelfranco Veneto, but also to Hospental from Hide & Seek across Switzerland (Season 9). I also love how they were in Milan, near my other house, and I also love how they went through the Gotthard Line.
Congrats Sam for winning this season.

Now this was an amazing season and I wanted to THANK YOU ALL for liking and commenting on my comments, those 60 likes on my comment on episode 5 were the most likes I've ever had on a comment, and I couldn't believe it. So THANK YOU for liking my comments.
60 likes is the most youve ever had? are you sure?
@@jonathanodude6660 Yes, why?
as of right now you have 90 likes on this one
@@ninnobroggi well, for one, 60 isn’t a whole lot, it’s not that difficult to just say something a lot of people will agree with. For 2, how would you even know if a comment is doing well? You’ll get like 3 notifications of people liking and then whether it gets 5 or 5k likes after that you’ll have to check individually. I have comments with up to 2k on RUclips but there’s no way to rank them or search them to see if any older ones have more. Some of my most popular posts are comment replies even.

I love how Adams plan to trick them accidentally worked twice. #TeamAdam
The first time Jet Lag cracked the hour mark 🎉 The previous record was 57:08, which was in Japan.
@@PalmelaHandersonIt’d turn into just grinding for coins and flying there
@@bluecat7684 You're right. I always forget they can fly. That was kind of the problem with the Alaska-Florida series.
@@PalmelaHanderson issue is other forms of public transit are a bit more scarce in the US compared to Europe so they kinda did have to rely on flights

The ending destination is such an iconic jet lag moment. Loved this season.
Sam has won 5 seasons.
If there is ever a third time they get to this tower, the person who is chased needs to let himself be seen on top as the others approach, get down fast, hide behind the tower for the tracker to be accurate and then run away fast as the others go up.
This won't likely be advantageous or help the chased get away but it would be super funny

The accent challenge was easy (if you are a train expert): When you looked at no. 2. you can see that there is an Austrian train in the back
I knew it was austrian because of all the Arnold Schwarzenegger I've heard

What a perfect end in Hospental, Switzerland.
I can’t believe its already the finale of the best series
The challenge at minute 18 is mean. Swiss and Austria both speak German with just a little different dialect so not really a chance to get that right
Please never stop tag you guys have literally saved me thank you ❤❤❤
Awesome season once again, but can't shake off the feeling that it would be better if everyone has 2 attempts instead of 72 hours.
agreed, seems fundamentally unfair to whoever happens to be third
But how would you decide who wins?
@@lilpeach101 Depending on where the last person gets caught
@@allisonjuno7654 i feel like the other way would be unfair to whoever goes first. a compromise could be to just not have the game end immediately after 72 hours, but to allow whoever is running when time expires to finish their current run, then call the game based on where they end up.
Going 1st 2nd or 3rd isn't a good indicator of who will win
Adam went 3rd in the 1st tag and he won
Ben went 1st in the 2nd and he won
Sam went 2nd in this tag and he won

Aw, I love it when Sam wins. Bro 1 HOUR?! I swear that's the longest episode you guys have ever made! This is me before I watch this episode and I can't wait to get started! This is a whole frickin' movie...
As an Austrian, I was soo happy to finally see my home country in the circle after many seasons all around it but not including it, so I'm a bit sad that you never made it there; some of the routes would have even gone through my hometown... I hope you will feature Austria again and actually get there, I think it's a good destination for jet lagged with good and pretty punctual train connections :)
Loved the season and all its moments nonetheless!
I was just thinking there doesn’t seem to be anything good to watch from my subbed channels, then this drops. Wooooo, let’s gooo
Probably one of the best Jet Lag finale episodes ever. Hope that the next 'Tag Across Europe' series is in Iberia or Scandinavia, especially Iberia since Madrid is a great starting location.
