I hadn’t watched one of these shows before, but as a Brit who’s watched Taskmaster for like 10 years, loved Sean Lock and the legendary carrot in a box bit, and who has watched every season of Jet Lag, I think this has found its target audience
As an American who watches NZ taskmaster, Lud 100% did his take and twist (or whatever he calls the method of taking the idea and twisting it to fit) based off TM and I love it

This is so much better. I feel like this format, similar to Taskmaster, only works if people actually try and want to win. That was kind of missing in the last episodes.
It’s, it adds so much more tension making the funnier moments even better. You actually are watching for the game, not just the bits and shenanigans. The other episodes were enjoyable but mostly if you were familiar with the contestants. Not this one, I would recommend it to people who know nothing about the participants without a second thought. It’s that good, hoping the next episodes are more like that.

I'm halfway through and this is my favorite episode so far I didn't know any of the guests apart from name recognition but they're so perfect for this show. Adam substituting for Stans occasionally (or even for 1 episode) would be so funny
I don't usually watch Ludwig, I only did for this episode. Do check out Jet Lag the Game for sure. Probably one of the best shows ever made for RUclips. So many seasons too, you can binge it, and it's only like 2-3 years old
For legal reasons I think you have to refer to him as Alex Horn so it isn't obvious they are ripping on Taskmaster and Greg Davis doesn't show up in Lud's room one night and demolish him.

I think this is the best unpaid intern, and it's as the people involved seem to actually care about taking part and doing a good job. Too many steamers make little effort, and it makes the whole thing much weaker. Having a fun but competitive cast is what really makes it work.
Yeah. The other episodes were alright but it was really obvious a lot of contestants were just there to make jokes and not actually trying/caring about winning
@@kronik658 I think the best Taskmaster tasks were ones with 3 people really trying, one person just making jokes and then someone actually having the best results. But I agree, it's not fun with too many low effort contestants.
Dw kids are smaller and use up oxygen slower i assume less muscle so he might have been able to survive 12 minutes, not nearly as life threatening as 10 minutes

I have no idea who any of these people are, and i absolutely love this. I hope this show keeps going, subscribed just for this. I'm a huge taskmaster fan. unpaid intern is better than any taskmaster rendition. Feels familiar, while totally having it's own identity. Also Stanz is an amazing assistant. On par with Alex Horne
Episode flowed really well. I like the final round being a 1v1, but hope you all can figure out a way to still include the other two contestants. Also can’t be believe that the Stanz era of Unpaid Intern is over. Can’t wait to see who gets to fill his Crocs.

Stanz got a lot into British TV starting with taskmaster (which this show is clearly inspired by), so it doesn’t surprise me he may have brought this idea onto the channel too! Making it into another one of the famous yoink and twists

Best episode yet, them already knowing each other really upped the competitiveness & loved seeing some classic tasks that were totally not similar to popular UK comedy panel shows

By far my favorite episode. I have loved all the past contestants so far but these ones took it so serious which made it better to me. Because it was fun serious, with a mix of smuggness here and there. They all were smart and they respected that.

He is basically doing a twist on the show taskmaster from the UK, it has the same filming style and all. Them having filmed the bits before the show, the envelopes being given to the players giving instructions on what to do. It is literally almost identical apart from the name, location and elimination style.

@@atorrrandi will always say the best one is the Tag EUR It one. It's the one i got recommended to me first, and it was great. It has the 3 main guys, a great premise, and great moment to moment gameplay. I also think the Japan one was incredibly engaging. The America one with Michelle had weaker gameplay imo, but i also was alienated by Michelle's weird horoscope bs she pushed into the episodes lol. But i maintain there's no BAD Jet Lag season :)
The train seasons (Tag Across Europe, Hide and Seek Across Switzerland, and Capture the Flag Across Japan) are the ones with the best gameplay, Michelle's season with them (Arctic Escape) is unfortunately a planes based season but she's very good in it, imo because of her it's the only plane season with real rewatch value

Honestly I think this one was my favorite one. The jobs were super funny and creative, the cast was hilarious and unhinged and the chaos was through the roof. Great job everyone, I've laughed non stop for this one.

This episode was really funny. Funniest moment was Caleb going in the fridge. Especially because as a kid I would've loved to go inside the fridge for fun
80s sitcom Punky Brewster famously had a PSA episode where a child got trapped in a refrigerator during a game of hide and seek. I think this was back in the days when fridges had door handles and so they actually locked you in if you were inside. I think for a lot of people who grew up in the 80s or early 90s, the dangers of hiding in fridges kinda seeped into your brain through pop-culture osmosis.
I noticed in the hide and seek part, it said they had to choose a spot in the office to hide. It never technically said they had to stay in that spot, so if I was playing it, I would've his right next to the entrance, then just left when the boss had walked past.
One final episode. Stanz is fired. Each Employee of the month comes back with one challenge each. Stanz must vs against each each runner up. Company then goes bankrupt.
The genuine competitiveness and high effort of the Jet Lag boys adds an entire layer of humor and hype. High key, if they were around during Mogul Moves, A. They'd dominate B. Might've been a close second to the XqC/SodaPoppin/Cyr Episode
Watching Ben and Adam recite the Okaihau Express song while Michelle and Sam tried to mess with them was one of the most hilarious things I've ever seen!!!

80s sitcom Punky Brewster famously had a PSA episode where a child got trapped in a refrigerator during a game of hide and seek. I think this was back in the days when fridges had door handles and so they actually locked you in if you were inside.
I think for a lot of people who grew up in the 80s or early 90s, the dangers of hiding in fridges kinda seeped into your brain through pop-culture osmosis.

I noticed in the hide and seek part, it said they had to choose a spot in the office to hide. It never technically said they had to stay in that spot, so if I was playing it, I would've his right next to the entrance, then just left when the boss had walked past.
I have no clue who any of these people are and i still busted my ass in laughter consistently 10/10
