    Great testimonial! I too found John McDougall 12 years ago, permanently lost a bunch of weight, and at 71, I can be-bop up the stairs too! Stick with it! I am certain you will!

    Wow, that's amazing! I also lost weight by drinking green smoothies with flaxseeds and chia seeds, mackerel and sardines (canned) and generally otherwise eating a whole food diet with lots of plants, especially beans. My HDL and LDL increased incredibly over the course of a few months, and my blood pressure dropped 20 points. Unfortunately I didn't lose weight, but I think I need to exercise more. I will try to improve my bone health, too. And all without any medications, too! My HDL went up 20 points, and my LDL dropped 50 points. I thought it was some kind of error but repeated blood tests showed the same results.

      Karlint39 - You stated: "My HDL and LDL increased incredibly . ." and you also stated "and my LDL dropped 50 points." Which is it? I'm trying to understand if you LDL went up or down. I'm finding that all of my lipid profile numbers went up - way up! Thanks.

    How do you do this diet if you are too skinny and don’t want to lose weight. I tried this and lost a lot. I don’t have much appetite too. Now I look terrible being skinny. Pl help.
