In this episode, filmed during Abundance360, Peter and David discuss David’s groundbreaking research on reversing aging through epigenetic changes, emphasizing that aging is not just damage to the body but a loss of information. They talk about age reversal as a possibility, rejuvenating brains, and regaining lost memories.
David Sinclair is a biologist and academic known for his expertise in aging and epigenetics. Sinclair is a genetics professor and the Co-Director of Harvard Medical School’s Paul F. Glenn Center for Biology of Aging Research. He’s been included in Time100 as one of the 100 Most Influential People in the World, and his research has been featured all over the media. Besides writing a New York Times Best Seller, David has co-founded several biotech companies, a science publication called Aging, and is an inventor of 35 patents

I keep a journal of everything I eat and every vitamin and supplement I take. I have been doing this since 1990.
Doing this has helped me identify what works and what don't. It has paid off big time. I am 74, feel great and running around like a little kid.
I highly recommend keeping a journal to log your progress to better health.

I have begun to reverse my damage from bad life choices when I was young. I am only 28 but since starting to take my health and aging seriously. I am feeling like I did energy wise when was 15. I have a lot of epigenetic issues that have been fixed i think. My skin looks better, my endurance is better, my brain inflammation has calmed down and my anxiety and depression are in remission for the first time. These ideas work. It's not nonsense. @@jamesgarvey8402 Hello. These days I avoid refined sugar so that means no chocolate, cake and other sweet stuff, sugar is so bad for aging you which I never realized. I don't smoke. I don't drink much alcohol...probably just a few times a year, like sugar regular alcohol intake is bad for aging. In terms of sleep I try to get about 7 hours. I do regular intermittent fasting which is good for aging and when I eat I often have omega 3 rich fish (anti aging) with vegetables and feta cheese, feta cheese is good for gut health and that's never a bad thing for aging.
I choose vegetables that are high in vitamins a, c and e. All 3 of those vitamins are good for aging. I avoid fruit juice as that is high in sugars, too much fruit sugar is also bad. Some whole fruit is ok but you don't wanna go overboard with it, vegetables are better. I also take a good quality combined multivitamin and mineral supplement and also astaxanthin which is a powerful antioxidant that can slow aging.

I wish i learnt most of these principles about seven years ago. A lot of people have been trapped strongly in the matrix-- Go to school, get a job, and then slave your whole life. Many miss out on life-changing information that could have great effect on their finances. I played with the stock market sometime in 2020, and I was surprised at how well it turned out. I want to put in $90k more into the market. I heard people are making really great returns despite the downturn. Any recommendations?

Get up and go outside. Go to your local stores. Go to Targets, Walmarts, and Sporting stores. Go to a car lot, go to rental cars, talk to people, listen to new music...
      TAKE IN THE WORLD.
Next, read articles in your idea investment. Ask yourself what the motivations are? Do they want you to sell, buy, or hold?
Look at history, the CEOs track record.
(You could look at SEC Filings if they are some. But if you're a non-accountant, it may be too much to understand)

    • @dimarak8866
      @dimarak8866 8 месяцев назад +1

      Not necessarily.
Because these treatments will only be made available for the rich first and on a larger scale it must be Regulated because the earths resources are limited. If most people suddenly can live hundreds of years in a young, youthful and "wasteful" way/state, then the world would be a dystopia, because most people then would not be able to sustain a even near-luxourious Lifestyle. And then the question needs to be asked: do you want to live very long even though you cant really enjoy life because the resources are not there?

@@anab0lic that’s a very good concern you brought up. My understanding is that as countries “develop“ birth rates fall significantly. Right now countries that are wealthy are only growing in population because of immigration. The estimates for continued population explosion seem to have almost universally been revised to somewhat quick plateau and then potential fall around the turn of the next century. Of course, we shouldn’t rest in the areas of sustainability and ecological stewardship.

Honestly, if I may say to you, the preoccupation and obsession with being young looking and fitting into a narrative that, is the ultimate goal to compete in society, that you are measured only by your performance and achieved success by the expectations of defining youth.
Yes we can attain desirability and the realm of only what is desired by a young placement of our life, and look the part, act in such ways that appeal to a younger body and mindset. I notice there's an element in your striving that the eye sees that looks frozen and unable to adapt. That acceptance lies in not only needing to look younger but a fascination to acquire at any cost. Mind you, I take very excellent care of myself, I don't look my age but it would be so wonderful to see you in a relaxed state, with all due respect, and honor yourself as a Man. Not a boy in his youthfulness.
Thank you for what you contribute.

I used to think every investor went broke during recessions, meanwhile some make millions. I also thought everybody went out of business during the Great Depression, but some went into business. Bottom line, there's always depression for some, and profit for others, it all starts from having the right mindset. That said, I've set asides $150k to invest for future, unfortunately l'm a complete noob.

Damn, I remember asking my father if he was afraid of dying when he must have been younger than I am now, and to me at that age he was god, he never lies, he is old so if he is not scared of death then that's how people feel at that age. I now know that he was lying to comfort me because 30 years on he is worried about dying as I am and everyone else is. If Sinclairs gran was already putting the fear of death and mortality into him at that age, I can see why it's such a passion of his. I'm not saying his gran was wrong because she was being honest. Just like being told santa clause is not real, it may seem cruel to tell someone at a young age, but it's the truth.... David's truth he learned at a young age set him on his path and I for one am already grateful and benefit from his discoveries. Good on David's gran.

I lost a friend (not as in dying but as in ending the friendship) who got extremely angry when I posted a link to David's book. I said simply that it does appear that age reversal will become possible in the future. He's a professor of biology at a major university and said it's sad that people are falling for this "con-artist." We got into a debate in which he was very condescending. This also sometimes happens in regard to Ray Kurzweil's predictions about nanomedicine keeping us healthy beginning in the 2030s. Unfortunately, there's going to be a great many people resisting the immense changes coming in the next couple of decades.

They need to keep the Cash flowing from investors, so they keep lying and saying all this stuff is right around the corner. The Science is mind-blowing what's coming. such research and discoveries are expensive and therefore need to be recovered. So people with money, especially a lot of money, will benefit. Everything is closed by the loop of economic profit. Rich elites fear that there are too many people, so if they are to disappear, they must get sick and live shorter lives. Euthanasia will almost certainly be implemented. The profits from the above medical discoveries will therefore be of an elite nature, and a popular professor will become one of them by becoming rich.

I tried being vegan for a year, got more wrinkles, saggy skin and thinning hair, it's not good for EVERYONE.

Vegan plus fasting. David Sinclair is the guy who talks about FASTING. When you're not eating it frees up tons of energy for your body to clean out the cells and repair them.

Sounds like you were malnourished. That’s what makes Vegan or Keto so hard to sustain. If you do it perfectly, it’s great, but it’s so easy to become unhealthy from those things without realizing it or knowing why specifically.
I agree with above comment, intermittent fasting (one meal a day is best)

Vegans live longer according to the research. You are just 1 person your anecdote means absolutely nothing and should be completely ignored.

David will likely go down in history as the one who was instrumental in curing aging. Humans will go from living about 8 decades to 8 thousand years or more.

I'm extremely impressed with Dr. Sinclair's insights on aging and ordered these supplements and try to follow Dr. Sinclair now ,because I have uterine fibroid for many years , with the age increasing and getting older now ,it just started to shrink now .but if you try to reverse age, whether this kind of women issues related when you were young ,could come back ? whether fibroid could increase size again? whether a women after menopause could reverse age and then period back again then ?thank you if anybody could answer my concern.

I would like to test the NMN on myself, can anyone tell me which company to buy it from? I'm a little skeptical about it

It's vain and delusional to believe that aging is optional. You can age well or you can age poorly. You can increase your life span and you can increase your health span. But eventually we all decay and die. Making peace with that and preparing yourself spiritually is way more conducive to authentic happiness than chasing the elusive eternal youth.

I’ve found Beej Mantra chanting or jaap meditation to be beneficial to my health. I start my day with mantra chanting and find that it gives me the energy and positive vibes that prepare me for any stressful day. The important thing is to first choose a God or Goddess that you believe in and revere and then, chant their Beej Mantra daily early in the morn’ between 4 - 6 AM. Chant at least 11 malas (or more if possible). Mantra jaap creates Pranic or Chi energy field that protects you from untimely death (akal mrityu), enemies, misfortunes, etc.
    Here’s Maa Kali Mantra:

We been fasting and eating right thanks to our ancestors.
I've been a raw food vegetarian for over a decade & its true. How & what you eat will slow your aging down.. Because i don't look my age due to eat healthy and the right way & the right things ..
If you cook your food or vegetables your cooking out the nutrients.
Great information hopefully the future will have a more easier way to reverse aging.
