Mat, I am not sure if you will read this or not. But you, among all of your BRCC peers are changing peoples' lives. You are giving life to people that may have felt like it wasn't worth living for, both military and non-military. I have never served, so I will never be able to imagine what it was like, but you still inspire me and many others. Your videos are funny, honest, and truthful. It is what we need in today's society. I support you and the BRCC and wish you guys continued success in life, as individuals and as a company.

In a short time, I lost our baby, my husband died, then my mother and my best friend also died, and I was left with 5 grieving kids to raise alone. I seemed to have inherited my husband's sick sense of humor, and people seem to think I'm crazy for making so many death jokes. I'm not the only one. They started a widow group for inappropriate humor, and it blew up. Sometimes a sick joke gets you through...with a lot of strong coffee, especially with 5 kids.

Just my opposite....Dunno what inspired me to buy my first bag of BRCC....Tried a few different brews, then tried "Blackbeard's Delight".....Wooohooo!!!... Loved it 'nuf to join the covfefe club a few months ago....My covfefe consumption has increased from 2 cups in the am to 4-5 cups/day....Life is rich....
All the BRCC, Article 15, etc vids are at the top of my favorite list.....FUNNNNNY!!!....Interesting to discover that Mat's a Santa Barbarian--wuz born there one month after WWII ended (Pa was stationed there at the Marine Air Base, now SB Airport)...Lived in SB from '69 til 2004 when I retired from SB City Fire Dept.....Am not a combat vet--but served 4.5 yrs active in the Navy ('63-'68), the last half as a sewerpipe sailor (qualified nuke fast attack and old diesel/elec) as a radioman-RM2 SS.....Pa ran a machine gun crew on the back of a deuce-and-a-haf on the Battle of Midway, then off to 1st in on Guadalcanal for a 4-5 month 'vacation' (had malaria so bad, that's how he ended up in SB til the end of the war)....He convinced me to join the Navy (took physical on my 18th birthday)....Figured I'd live longer....Sooo, my first boat was a Thresher class fast attack in mid '66 (Thresher went down 3 years prior)....Whenever I wear a sub vet cap out and about & folks thank me for my service, I tell 'em that it's the other way around--I owe my country and the USN for the life I've been privileged to have lived (74 next month, very healthy and hope to squeeze another 20+ yrs of fun on this planet, on the water in SW Florida in particular).....For the record: BRCC Blackbeard's Delight is the BEST COVFEFE EVER!!!!

your outlook needs to be heard by so many people. so many people live in America and take our freedom for grated and never give it a 2nd thought of how we keep that freedom and how good life actually is because of the people who served, how good life is that they have health, intact arms and legs, and a trauma free life because someone who doesn't have those things served our country. When I was in the Army i wasn't infantry or any combat arms mos, and i never left the fob. I was a Apache mechanic. Believe what Matt said at 2:25. We all give each other shit for the branch of service or job we do, or did in the military. All in all we are all Veterans and it's best to go out and seize the damn day and not to let shit hold you down because those who lost thier lives in service would want us to go out and enjoy life. Thats why I love the military community. You can put to veterans in a room who have never met and I can personally guarantee you they will walk out like long lost brothers. So to all our past, present, and lost military members thank you for everything you have done, and given for this country.
And to those who haven't served. If you see a Veteran or active service member and thier depressed please dont ignore them. Take just a few minutes out of the day and talk to them. Just a simple conversation with a few laughs can make a huge difference to them.

I always thought it was unrealistic because no one in my family has ever been in, so I always looked for career paths like doctor or engineer or some shit even though I hate the idea of office jobs or just straight paperwork. Wearing a suit and tie every single day sounds like a robotic life. I watched "Bitch I Operate" a couple years ago and I saw some guys that fucking loved their life and didn't give a shit about people who didn't like them for their way of life.
