Matt, I hope you see this. I am a 17 yr army vet with 3 deployments under my belt. I use to wake up every morning wishing I hadn't. I hate the day and night. I was never happy, hardly laughed and smiled even less. Until I say one of your videos. I laugh more, smile more and after watching this am looking at life a lot different now. Yes, I still have my bad days but they are becoming less and less bad and more and more good. Thank you for putting a smile back on my face. R.L.T.W
I think every vet (even those who didn't see combat like myself) appreciate the content you put out. We have an odd sense of humor and it's nice to see other people not be ashamed to embrace it and go all out. It's also inspirational to have see what you've gone through and how you've chosen to embrace an attitude that is driven to live life.
I've been waiting a long time for this bio, so much more than I expected. I don't know if you'll read this but I want you to know how much of an inspiration you are to so many vets, even ones older than you. Thank you, for being.... You.
Bro, this hit home hard. Leaving the Military was one of the hardest things I ever did. But like you said man, have to take the leap of faith and see what the other chapters have to offer.
Mat, I'm an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. That means I don't drink coffee or whisky, but I love you guys. Seriously, your videos brighten many of my days and I'll support you every way I can, whether it be promoting your channel or buying your t-shirts and other gear. God bless you brother and thank you for your patriotism and service.
your outlook needs to be heard by so many people. so many people live in America and take our freedom for grated and never give it a 2nd thought of how we keep that freedom and how good life actually is because of the people who served, how good life is that they have health, intact arms and legs, and a trauma free life because someone who doesn't have those things served our country. I never served but I have the upmost respect for those who have and will in the future.
I wanted to say thank you. It's good see positives like this. I'm x navy. Had a blast. And I'm always trying to keep life upbeat and positive. Been down and out a few times. Me personally, fully support you and your team. I served for 10 and a half years in the infantry in the US Marines from 95 to 05 and its amazing to see your videos. It seriously makes dealing with everything a lot easier. So thank you and please keep them coming. Screw the haters.
I am a grateful civillian and ANY day I feel down I will watch this and do something good for those around me. God bless. Your dad must surely be proud.
When I was in the Army i wasn't infantry or any combat arms mos, and i never left the fob. I was a Apache mechanic. Believe what Matt said at 2:25. We all give each other shit for the branch of service or job we do, or did in the military. All in all we are all Veterans and it's best to go out and seize the damn day and not to let shit hold you down because those who lost thier lives in service would want us to go out and enjoy life. Thats why I love the military community. You can put to veterans in a room who have never met and I can personally guarantee you they will walk out like long lost brothers. So to all our past, present, and lost military members thank you for everything you have done, and given for this country. And to those who haven't served. If you see a Veteran or active service member and thier depressed please dont ignore them. Take just a few minutes out of the day and talk to them. Just a simple conversation with a few laughs can make a huge difference to them.
Hey Brah, my father's a Marine veteran. He wanted me to remind you of the acronym for Army (Aren't real Marines yet) I guess this is about some kind of military childish pleasantries huh?
As an Aussie not in the military but working in the defense industry i can honestly say all you guys bring a smile to my face. Thankyou for the content and thank you for your service
I don’t know how many people will read this but I don’t think success is following him. I think he is just one of the few people that broke free from the chains and chased it down. I love this and I love how you guys are veterans.
Hey, Matt, it isn't just the military that loves your videos bro :) it is helping out a lot more people 😄 I only graduated Navy Basic never even made it to my tech but life didn't like me and your videos helped a lot. Ty!!
Hello Mat. Thanks for this video. I served 2004-2008 with one tour in Fallujah 06-07 with II MEF II MHG ENG. I was a combat engineer. I also joined at 17. Totally took me down memory lane. You really are inspiring.
I'm 1 of many who where medically disqualified for military service after spending 4 years in JROTC. I cry whenever I see a Combat movie or meet a random Vet. or Military member on the street. "I tell them, that my only regret, is that I was unable to serve beside them, in whatever Hell they emerged from."
Joining the military has always been an idea for me. I always thought it was unrealistic because no one in my family has ever been in, so I always looked for career paths like doctor or engineer or some shit even though I hate the idea of office jobs or just straight paperwork. Wearing a suit and tie every single day sounds like a robotic life. I watched "Bitch I Operate" a couple years ago and I saw some guys that fucking loved their life and didn't give a shit about people who didn't like them for their way of life. As dumb as it sounds, that RUclips video made me say fuck it, I'm joining. God bless you Mat. Thanks for inspiration.

I've never seen a more badass, hilarious, level-headed, work-hard-play-hard, devoted, patriotic, and overall outstanding group of dudes like Mat Best and his military friends collaborate since the founding fathers wrote the declaration of independence.
You guys are what this country needs. Keep up the good work.
I really appreciate your message at the end here Mat. I was recently discharged from the Navy for depression, and I'm constantly trying to keep myself moving forward and not focusing on what happened. I love your videos, and I truely appreciate all of this that you do. Thank you man
Just saw this. Figure out what motivates you and fan that flame! You got this -- and we love YOU. You're a part of a community we care deeply about
@@BlackRifleCoffeeCompany Thank you! I really appreciate it 😊 A lot of things actually changed in the past week or so that have made it a lot easier to figure my life out again out here. Your guys' videos always motivate me a lot, so thank you so fucking much for the content!!!
I pray for you brother Depression sucks.God bless you
Thank you to all the Vets for their service. Special thanks to Mat Best for your service and entertainment.
Im a 58 year old man, im actually looking up to you. Much respect Mat. Thank you for your service.
I got out 19 years ago. I miss it every day.
The amount of motivation he has to just keep moving forward really puts my life into perspective.
I wanted to say thank you. It's good see positives like this. I'm x navy. Had a blast. And I'm always trying to keep life upbeat and positive. Been down and out a few times. I even been homeless a few times. And I always try to teach and enlighten people I meet that need a hand-up and not a hand-out. That life is what you make of it. Thanks again.
I'm glad Mat did this, clarifies & gives better understanding of him. 110% respect.
Mat, son, you are awesome. I'm a USN combat vet (86-92) and I really appreciate you and YOUR service after I got out. You are a great example of what a real brother is. Keep up the good work and Semper Fortis.
Thank all of you for your service.Without you we would not be here.

You are a bad ass. Love your crew, videos, outlook and philosophy. Keep leading the way brother
Everyone at BRCC is lucky to have the awesome customer base that we've got. It's a community that's come together to support us -- for that we're eternally grateful
I’m at such a crossroad in my life and found absolute motivation in mat’s words. Only I get to choose what happens next.
Mat, listening to you encourages me to wake up every morning and to shake off the depression. I am ex Law Enforcement not Military but I understand. If you ever need anything I would go to the end of the the world for any Veteran..
Haha Matt you and your company deserve the best! So much effort and work and the fact it all comes back round to supporting veterans

You help more people than you think. Even if you haven't been in the military. I haven't, but have had a lot of other stuff to affect me and Watching you guys helps.
Incredible attitude and self motivation displayed by this guy is great to see. This young generation today could learn so much from Mat. Have watched a few of your video's and they are great. Greeting's from an ex Australian Army grunt. Enjoy the life brother.

Thank you Matt. In two weeks, I start a new job. Willfully leaving a job of 19yrs. Wish me luck. 👍

This line just hit directly Heart ' How to be a man '.
Thanks for sharing Mat, you'll put a smile on my face and some good coffee (with a little whiskey) down my throat before I head out to do my thing on my ranch🤠

I liked the line about waking up and being excited because it's another sunny day....or rainy but who cares!

Although you weren't able to finish your career the way you wanted, you still answered the call. Thank you for you service.
Matt thank you for your service, your imagination, and your creativity. Rangers lead the way!
Thanks for inspiration.
just make sure you get a mos you are passionate about and if you join infantry like I did make sure you are prepared both mentally and physically.
@@radiantsweep1212 Absolutely. I know infantry is what I'm gonna do, I just don't know if I'm going to college first.
